When we arrived in the evening, the inside fireplace and outside fire pit were both burning. Sitting by the fire outside was so peaceful, keeping warm and looking at the stars while enjoying complimentary beverages- they always have tables in the lobby stocked with water, iced tea, coffee, and hot water for tea or cocoa. No longer serves a protein (no eggs or meat, no breakfast sandwich) with the so called hot breakfast so we should have paid the extra for a hotel that does and saved our thirty dollar a day breakfast cost. They do have kayaks for use but no canoes.
