I would honestly give this place more than 5 stars if I could. We ran across it when stopping at Starbucks over the weekend so decided to try it today. I had an Avocado Salad and the Crunch Roll (crab, shrimp tempura, and avocado). The salad was SOOO good, and the roll was fresh and REALLY yummy!! My partner got a Teriyaki Chicken & Beef Bowl and a Vegas Roll. He went to pick it up and said the place was really clean and very nice inside. I'll bet we're back within the week. They left a note on my order that reads "please order directly from our website, it's cheaper" that's simply caring and I think it's generosities like this that keep customers committed to returning. We ordered teriyaki chicken bowl, teriyaki beef bowl and katsu chicken. Out of the 3 items, teriyaki chicken is the OK. However, the veggie was very bland. Beef is on the tough side, but favor is OK. The Katsu Chicken however is a total disappointment. Chicken has no seasoning. And the worst part is hardly any real chicken in the patty. You can clearly see in the picture, the middle thin sliver of white meat is chicken. The rest is some sort of gelatin feel something. We threw away the entire bowl. Very very disappointed. read more

I work across the street and have eaten there many times. The last 3 times, have been really bad. I hate leaving bad reviews, but it is not up to the standard I have been getting. I get the lunch special, beef teriyaki and it's usually delish. The last few times, it's been 90% beef strips with hard gristle throughout. If it only happened once, I would not be annoyed, but since my lunch has been ruined 3 times in a row, it's time to mention it. I hope they get back to delish soon. First time trying out this place yesterday and it was absolutely delicious! Decided to splurge and get a California tempura roll and a chicken teriyaki bowl. I know it's a cali tempura roll, but my gosh was it like biting into heaven! It was perfectly fried and the taste was just so delicious, my mouth is watering as I type this. Just be aware that this place is salt and sauce crazy! The people working are great and friendly. The menu selection is good, but the food was not what we were hoping for. They have what they call a "sushi sauce", which tastes more like sweet teriyaki , that is not listed as one of the things that will be going on the food and they BURY everything in it. Why someone would put teriyaki sauce on a Spicy tuna bowl or a rainbow roll is puzzling to me. It is very strong and dominates the dishes so it is all that can be tasted and it doesn't even make sense to be there in the first place. $80 worth of food that my family just picked at and then threw away because they couldn't get past the sauce. I do have to say that with the bowls, the amount of avocado and fish were impressive and they would have been great with spicy mayo instead of teriyaki but as prepared they were pretty much ruined in our book. And the crab in the California roll was salted for some reason and so much so, they too got thrown away. When we were done I gave unsolicited feedback to the people working, the lady, who I assume was the owner, offered to remake the items for us with no sauce but we politely declined. I don't think we will be back, but if you go make sure to ask what, if any, sauces are on the food so you can decide if you want it or not. I wish we knew in advance. Also the sauce in the yakisoba noodles was off. It was sweet and almost had a cinnamon taste. Not good. BUT, the beef that is served with it was outstanding. But not enough to come back. Stumbled upon this place on our way to Sam's Flaming Grill, it's a door down . They have a lunch special of a regular size chicken or beef bowl with soda for $10.99. I believe it's from 11-2 pm I know for sure it ends at 2 but not sure of when it starts. The portions are big and the food is tasty and fresh. I have only tried the chicken and the beef teriyaki bowls so not sure about the other food they serve. They have a bunch of other types of bowls, salads and sushi rolls. This place is awesome. I have ordered delivery and picked up and we have been ordering once a week since we first tried it. The sushi rolls are very good, not Achita, but still very good and reasonably priced. The teriyaki bowls are exceptional and provide generous portions. I recommend the chicken and beef bowl with spicy teriyaki and 50/50 rice and veggies. The beef has a nice smoky flavor like it is grilled which is far better than most places. Lastly, the service is fast. By the time I got there from my house to pick up (3 mile drive), it was ready to go and order was correct. Highly recommend trying them!
