Very disappointing experience. I came here with my children and spent about $38 on Yogurt, which was very good. After that, my little kids got Thirsty and wanted water, so I tried to buy three bottles for $6. The cashier refused to accept my credit card because they claimed there was a $16 minimum. What made this even more frustrating was learning about their payment policy. If your purchase is under $16, they add a $1 fee. If it's under $10, they refuse to accept a credit/debit at card at all. I understand that businesses may have their own payment policies, but to avoid to sell because they will lose cents on transaction is so cheap. I understand when a business keeps prices low and operates on razor-thin margins. I get that. But their prices are insanely high. A bill for three people is almost $100. Those aren't ice cream prices anymore -- those are ridiculous, overpriced prices. Very very cheap La and on top of that very rude. As I understand it, U.S. federal law limits minimum purchase requirements for credit card transactions to $10. In New York, businesses also have strict rules about how credit card surcharges must be disclosed and charged. The payment policy used here appears to be inconsistent with those consumer protection rules. This place has greedy and misleading staff. Count your change, as anything less than $12 is cash only. My yogurt was $7.03, I gave $20. She gave back $12.95. Shop is big and clean, with different types of flavors Yogurt from Vanilla to Green tea, and even Taro flavor. The amount of condiments is a child's dream come true. There's gummy bears, sprinkles, chocolate bars, you name it. What I didn't like was the price has gone up double, even tripled. Yogurt itself was very cold and quickly became watery. Extremely disappointed in this place. Came here last night and the week before. Yogurt is good. They also offer sugar free cheese cake and coconut options. They're clean too. But, when the person that works there or is probably the owner and is a stickler for everything it makes you disgusted and never want to return. My first visit there a few weeks ago I came by myself and didn't have cash. The guy behind the register gave me a hard time about using my credit card. Then on top of it he had to watch me while I decided and poured my choice of yogurt. I paid over $5 and he still gave me a hard time about using my credit card. I was craving froyo in this cold weather (crazy right?) and decided to try out Yogurt City. It was very quiet and the decor was really cute. It was extremely clean as well. Everything was self-serve so you could fill your cup with a variety of flavors (cookies n cream, pineapple, tart, vanillaa, mango, coconut, chocolate, cheesecake, green tea etc) I went for the coconut and cookies and cream. Just be mindful of how much you're adding because you pay by weight. Next, the toppings. There was a nice variety of toppings as well and you can finish off your yogurt with whipped cream or some kind of syrup. The price wasn't too bad when compared with other frozen yogurt shops. The yogurt and toppings were delicious! The fruit was fresh, the gummy bears weren't unBEARably hard, and the marshmallows were perfect. BEWARE! There is a $10 minimum for card usage and the cashier will let you make your yogurt and everything without telling you. There is a tiny sign near the register. The cashier is super aggressive towards customers, shouting about why did they make a yogurt if they didn't know it was a minimum. It's very concerning how a business is looking to confuse customers with $10 minimum signs that are smaller than a salt shaker. Was a bit upset because the owner who definitely knows me and saw me come multiple times said "the bathroom is for customers only" when I asked him to use the bathroom (one available and not in the back or anything). This place is horrible. As reference, I only like the classic tart flavor and only purchase this flavor in any frozen yogurt store. Two experiences with this store so far. First time, I asked my friend to deliver to me. I live a few blocks away. It was watery, it lacked even the little bit of creaminess frozen yogurt should have, and there was no tart flavor. Second experience. I decided to go myself and try it before buying. Not as watery but definitely no tart flavor. I brought this to the owners attention and not only were defensive, they were rude and unwilling to take feedback from customers. *As a disclaimer, the machine dispensed about 4 spoonfuls, so I am not trying to skimp out on paying something I realized I couldn't afford. (Something these owners probably thought I was doing) I was even trying to be considerate of tasting beforehand so that I'm not potentially wasting a whole cup full. I have no issues with differences of opinion but instead of considering my feedback, all they said was "I don't know what you're talking about, it's sour and all of our customers say it's good!" I've been to many froyo places everywhere over the years and this one may be the most cleanest one I've sat and enjoyed some froyo with my wife and daughter. They have a good assortment of flavors to choose from including sugar free ones and my favorite which is the original tart. The price is very reasonable as well and you pay by the ounce. The assortment of toppings are plentiful and three is sure to be a favorite for you to enjoy. The bathroom is very clean and the tables are clean as well. It's just a very comfortable shop to enjoy. I would imagine this place to be very busy when the summer weather starts to heat everyone up soon. If I'm in the area again I would surely come back here to enjoy some froyo read more

When it comes to froyo , I tend to take it pretty seriously in comparison to my love for Ice Cream. The look of this place is very fun , family friendly and inviting, lots of bright colors , marble benches and clean tables, flashing lights and a large space. The hours are also very flexible where they are open until 10:00 on sunday and 11:30 on other nights. To sum it all up, Yogurt City really gets the job done for a yummy treat. First of all the location is convenient by the canal with plenty of parking, its nice to pick up the froyo to go for a walk by the water. It is also self serve which I like more because it gives you more freedom in terms of toppings and mixing flavors. They have different sized cups, where in other places I have gone too I only saw one standard size. A lot of the flavors were non fat or low fat so I didn't feel so guilty indulging on 3 flavors. From cheesecake, to red velvet, pistachio, original, cake better, strawberry, blueberry, green tea and caramel, everyone can find something that they will enjoy. The toppings were fresh and organized, One section had fruits like strawberries and blueberries to a section with nuts and various candies like gummy worms, bears, chocolate butter cups and chips followed by stuff that could be drizzled like peanut butter, whipped cream, honey or hot fudge. This place weighs by the ounce, and for a hefty cup like mine it didn't go over 5 dollars for my cup. I think what holds me back from giving 5 stars was that the froyo was melting really fast, this doesn't really bother me in the winter but in the summer I don't think that's ideal for someone who wants to take it to go. Other froyo places actually can give you an ice pack in a bag to keep it cold like in Pinkberry or Red Mango, so I think this place should have that option should be available. Cashier came over to pour flavors for me which started off to be a pleasant experience but quickly became hast and degrogatory because she came annoyed with the fact I requested to taste multiple flavors when no one said to have flavors that weren't appealing to begin with. Then her daughter yelled at me to throw the cups in the garbage as if I am not an adult. Then as I was choosing my toppings I felt judged and attacked for taking a little longer than usual.
