Why does this matter at all to a Yelp review? Well, it does. Because thanks to my travels, restaurants and cafes like this one make me prepared and ready for what is to come. Two trips to Canada and a trip to Paris prepare you for what you could expect at a creperie that also happens to sell waffles and frozen yogurt, and a few other things, but mostly dessert. Vancouver prepped me for the waffles. Quebec and Montreal prepped me for the crepes. The US has prepped me for the frozen yogurt. All this prepped me well when I ordered a sweet crepe and got a superb symphony of sweet flavors. Fantastic and fresh banana and strawberries, a very fresh Nutella topping, and a binding agent in a crepe! Next time I will order a savory and a sweet to see how it all goes, and maybe a waffle or two for good measure. Of course this is all putting it back, back in the New York groove, which this carries so well. I will be back here, which thankfully requires little travel on my part.
