The flavor choices were great for someone not on a diet, My husband had the Dulce de Leche with butterfinger topping and it was AMAZING but for the 1 sugar free option they had (Strawberry-Banana) I was not impressed...kept sneaking bites of my husbands cause his was so much better then mine. I can't say it enough.....this place has the BEST frozen yogurt in CA! I wish they had one in Sacramento :( They have a great variety including flavors that you don't normally get at other places (i.e. - Taro) and they aren't stingy on getting samples, it's self-serve with the taste cups out for the customers. The had lots of interesting flavors - i ended up getting Oatmeal Cookie & Salted Caramel. It was GREAT! I filled it a good amount and got a few toppings and it was only like $3.50! I love this place! There isn't anything bad I can say. The yogurt options are delicious and there is quite a handful. Cake batter is to die for! They also carry 2 non-dairy yogurt; right now they are pineapple dole and Hawaiian (something). The pineapple dole has a flavor very similar to Dole Whip at Disneyland (texture is a lot thicker, though). Plus many options to top your yogurt with and it is all decently priced! We love to come here for a family treat because they usually have two non-dairy flavors and a good selection of fresh fruit. Our youngest has a dairy allergy and it's wonderful to be able go somewhere where she can be easily accommodated. I wanted to try this place for a while now. I was excited to see a yogurt shop open up next to my house. A girl can't have too many yogurt shops nearby. So I finally went tonight. It was packed! There were families and tweens galore. They had a lot of different flavors. I personally felt like a little kid because I got the plain tart, green apple (tart), pomegranate (tart), taro, mango (non-dairy), and hawaiian delight. I think my favorite was the plain tart. How boring huh? It wasn't super tart like pink berry, very mild and tasted great. The others were meh. Although I have to comment about the taro. I was a bit weary, but I love all the filipino 'ube' desserts so I decided to try it. It wasn't half bad. It did have that 'ube' flavor to it, but the more I tasted the more I recognized the distinct flavor. It tasted like Jelly Belly's Buttered Popcorn jelly beans! I don't know why, but I'm obsessed with this flavor, its not the best, but I can't stop eating them. It's such an odd flavor that I keep shoveling it in my mouth. I have to say, their fruit toppings did look quite fresh, but I'm not one to put toppings on my yogurt. I had to pass. For a split second I debated on whether to get mochi, but alas felt like my bowl was too heavy. I have to say I think Golden Spoon will always be my favorite. For the price I paid for my yogurt today I could have gotten like 50% more yogurt at Golden Spoon. I'm pretty sure, after today's experience at the weigh to pay yogurt shop, that Golden Spoon must stuff like 14-16 oz of yogurt in a 8 oz cup. read more

I've always gone to Yogurtland in the same parking lot but I happened to be on that side of the parking lot and thought why not try Yogurt Island. It was quite unclean and they didn't have very many flavors that i enjoyed. Their yogurt quality in general was lacking, their topping were sticky and had yogurt in them and I overall was very disappointed in my experience. I always forget the rewards cards so if they could come up with a more convenient rewards option (key chain scan, phone app, something more tech friendly for us forgetful ones)!
