This is the place to go if you want delicious frozen yogurt with lots of other flavors and toppings to choose from. Spacious place to sit indoor. My favorite flavor is their cake batter yogurt but they have seasonal flavors that are always changing to something even better. Yogurt island also has the best toppings. They are always so fresh, the cheesecake pieces are perfect and never frozen or clumping like they can be at Yogurtland. The fruit is fresh and they will cut you fresh banana on request. Last night my daughter and I went to get frozen yogurt. There were approximately 15 guests not social distancing and walking back and forth getting different flavors of yogurt. Not once were the handles of the machines wiped. In addition to not complying with the Covid rules the toppings were still self serve. Everyone using the same spoon or hands to get toppings. As I was paying a couple came in with no masks and were told they needed to leave. Is it okay to pick and choose the rules you want to follow? I won't be going back as it was upsetting to see their disregard for the new rules. The easy solution would be to have the employees get the yogurt and toppings. read more

I have to admit, I'm VERY spoiled with my frozen yogurt. For the past 4 year I've been lucky enough to have a Yogurtland a few blocks away from my house. In my opinion, nothing can top Yogurtland. So when I stopped by here recently with my little sister while visiting my family, i was a little hesitant to say the least. When i walked it, it appeared to be set up EXACTLY like Yogurtland. I looked at all the different flavors and was only wiling to taste a few. I settled on a mixture of cinnamon roll and cake batter. The toppings provided are very similar to Yogurtland but it didn't have as large of a variety. I added Captain Crunch and a few strawberries and sat down to eat. It's actually not that bad of a place...if you haven't had Yogurtland. I think for a town like Temecula, this is actually a pretty popular place. Open late, plenty of seating. Yogurt Island is bright, clean and inviting! Good options of yogurt flavors. We were full from lunch but somehow found room for froyo. I stick with the tart yogurt with cheesecake bites, mini carob chips and almonds. I noticed the chopped almonds were especially fresh. Old nuts suck. All of the fruits were fresh-looking. There's an option to pour some hot chocolate sauce over your creation too. I don't see that very often. I tried other places in town. They pale in comparison. I hate leaving bad reviews and I must say that the yogurt is actually really good here. Flavors are good and toppings are good as well. My complaint is with the help.. Got some unusually hard bits in the graham cracker powder today, told them about it and the response was that she didn't believe me and that it's just "graham cracker so I dont think there could be anything hard in there". My kids' favorite! This is our go-to place for a treat for the kids. We have been here probably 25-30 times and have never seen it not super clean, including the restrooms. The decor is fresh and inviting. Some of their flavors are a little too sweet for an adult but my kids disagreed. It's self-serve with a per-ounce price for the entire order including toppings. Prices are competitive with all of the other local yogurt shops, and they regularly run coupons in the clipper-type magazines that get mailed to the house. Adults who don't have a super sweet tooth might want to stick with the simpler flavors, like tart vanilla or chocolate. My older daughter adores their taro flavor. Sometimes their sweeter-sounding flavors, like cake batter, truly are too-too sweet. Recently they had a watermelon flavor that was really good. Toppings are fresh and inviting. Some are unusual Asian ones that I don't know the names of but are great! They have fresh fruit, standard dry toppings like M &Ms and granola (maybe 2-3 doz types) and decent diced brownies. This place has so many varieties of soft serve fro yo it is hard to keep count (most of it fat free but tasting sooooo sinfully good and cool). If you are a self-serve soft serve newbie like I was, you must sample and believe me you will probably acquire a taste for the tart flavors (nonexistent on the East Coast). There are plenty of non-tart flavors but you haven't had frozen yogurt until you have had Yogurt Island tart blueberry or tart pomegranate. Y.I. has the freshest fruit toppings around, fresher than White Lime or Pinkberry. Visiting Temecula I sampled all of the new fro yo shops and Yogurt Island is the one I would go back to again and again (and wish I could go to in Massachusetts, esp. since summer has finally arrived). Some of my favorite flavors were plain tart, cake batter, & red velvet ( bomb!) As for the toppings, not the biggest selection I've ever seen BUT they have amazing fresh fruit. Hands down best frozen yogurt place! The froyo is the creamiest and smoothest compared to other places. The little sampling cups are out in the open so you can try as many flavors as you'd like! Makes it less awkward because you don't have to ask for a sample cup and only be handed one. Always clean. Always busy.
