I thought we were about to crash, but nope, just an emergency ice cream situation. Glad we pulled over because this place is the real deal. The ice cream is rich, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. You can taste the quality, and the scoop-to-dollar ratio is right on the money. The place has some cool history behind it too, which adds to the charm. We grabbed our cones and sat outside on a little bench, enjoying what felt like a scoop of heaven on a sunny day. If you're in the area, do yourself a flavor and make the stop, especially if you've got an ice cream queen in the car.

My fiance asked the nice girl working there for her recommendation, and she did not hesitate to tell us her favorite - Graham Slam. Fantastic flavor, and the ice cream is creamy and delicious. I chose to do the recommended flavor, plus a scoop of Eskimo Kisses. Both flavors were awesome, but the Graham Slam was definitely better. There are lots of topping options, as well. There is some cute seating inside, as well as bench outside the shop. We chose to eat outside on the bench while enjoying a beautiful summer evening. It's a small shop, so small you might miss it, but it's definitely worth a trip there.

I've been a loyal customer of Zack's Frozen Yogurt for over 30 years--long before the ownership…read morechanged--and I've never experienced anything like what happened today. If customer service has truly gone off a cliff, this visit was the proof. I walked in for a simple cup of frozen yogurt, something I've done countless times. The young woman behind the counter didn't ask if I wanted a lid (as I'm always asked), and instead overfilled the cup. When I politely said I wanted a lid, she scraped off the top like it was garbage. That may seem small to some, but presentation matters. I'm not an animal, and I don't expect to be served like one. When I pointed out that this wasn't how it should be done, she snapped back with, "Well how do you think I'm going to close it?"--then followed up with, "If you don't like it, come back here and make it yourself." Excuse me? That's not just rude, it's hostile. I asked the other employee to make a new one, and the same young woman kept up the nasty attitude, saying "I don't care, it's not mine either." The second employee did apologize, and I appreciated that. But when I said I'd be calling the owner, I was told he's on vacation. Is that why the staff feels free to treat customers with such disrespect? Zack's used to be a place where service matched the sweetness of the yogurt. Now, it feels like the values that built this business have melted away. I sincerely hope the owner reads this and takes action--because this kind of behavior is unacceptable, and longtime customers like me deserve better.

I tried a scoop of Blueberry Cheesecake & Raspberry White Chocolate in a waffle cone. They were delicious with a lot of flavor. My favorite was the Raspberry White Chocolate because it had a lot of white chocolate chips. The other people I was with got a scoop of Cookie Monster in a cup and Coffee Cookies n' Cream Milkshake. The staff was super nice and quick with the busy mall crowd. They do have a hand-held menu with the descriptions of the ice creams because the amount of ice cream in the freezers can get overwhelming. The shop opened next to the food court which was very convenient for seating. I really love this new addition to the mall, especially that it is all local ice creams.
