Very convenient location. Great Boba drinks, especially the Taro tea one. Seating is limited, but ok.

First off I have to recognize the amazing guy that helped us. He was so friendly, helpful and…read moreknowledgeable. We ended up talking about how much of their product is Gluten Free. This is a new area we are trying to get up to speed on since this now affects our daughter. This is a great option for dessert if you have this type of concern. I've been so sad that they had closed years ago. Upon seeing that they had reopened we had to get in and try my old favorite Peppermint Chocolate Spray. I craved this for so long that I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my memories. Great news though. It is exactly how I remembered and we were told the recipe hasn't changed at all. I was so happy to scratch an itch I've had for so long by finally getting my hands on this nostalgic treat. All of their ice cream and treats (rice Krispy bars)?that we got were divine. This place is absolutely worth the drive and time for such a wonderful experience. Give them a try. I promise you'll be glad you did.

It is all super fresh, not freezer burned. I haven't tried the double cone yet, but I want to since it is iconically Snelgrove. It is SO cute inside, and clean. The employees are always really helpful and patient with my toddler. I am impressed when young employees do the job well. All in all, Snelgrove is a great experience. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area. Or even if you're not, really.

They are so rich but not overly sweet. You can see the staff making the ice cream in the back. We tried berry cheesecake, banana nutella, dough n cookies, honeybud, and strawberry matcha. We tried to stop here the night before, but the line was about 80 people long. We came back Saturday midday and quickly learned why. While the parking lot was still packed, there was no line once we got inside. And once I started sampling the ice cream, it felt like it was just me floating in the clouds. Across all three flavors, the first thing that stood out was the texture. The Golden Passion Fruit was bright, the Banana Nutella was rich, and the Caramel Cashew was rich. Every scoop was remarkably dense, silky, and creamy. The Golden Passion Fruit was dairy-free, which I'm not entirely sure how that technically qualifies as ice cream. While I have spooned plenty of diary free deserts into my mouth, I have never ordered a dairy free in a commercial creamery so this was going to be a first. But after that first sample, the thought of daily free never crossed my mind. It was dense, rich, smooth, and immensely flavorful. It tasted exactly like the passion fruit I've picked off the trees just minus the seeds. It was bright and was incredibly concentrated. It was outstanding. While this wasn't my order, the person who did order this made the mistake of letting my try their double scoop dish. It was tough to give it back. The Banana Nutella tasted exactly like it sounds. The base was thick, creamy, and custardy with the banana and hazelnut flavors clearly coming through. The Caramel Cashew was also a standout. The caramel brought a deep buttery sweetness while the cashews added a roasted, nutty richness that kept it from becoming overly sweet. In the same dish, those were like rival siblings: they could hang together when they have to, but would prefer the attention be focused solely on them. Scoop sizes were standard and appeared consistent across all the orders. The young crew seemed well trained on portion control and sample limits. They were strictly by the book with two samples maximum. Luckily, someone in my group only wanted one sample, so I was able to claim their unused allocation. I wasn't ready to stop tasting and understand their limits. This may be the highest concentration of cream and dairy richness I've ever experienced in a commercial creamery. The texture was exceptionally dense, silky, and indulgent. As the legend goes - King Arthur had a round table because all the knights were equal. But as we know in real life, some are more equal than others. The Passion Fruit and the Caramel Cashew were definitely more equal, but please don't think the BN was a slouch. All deserved to be on the podium. When you start in heaven, everything else is hell. I HATE ;-) Blacksmith Ice Cream for it may have permanently ruined my perspective on ice cream!

The parking lot is always totally full any day of the week. The wife had a brownie hot fudge sundae. I had the pralines and caramel sundae in a waffle bowl. Really delicious home made hot fudge and caramel toppings. Especially the hot fudge. And I make a killer hot fudge. This hot fudge had a fantastic flavor. We really enjoyed both of our sundaes, which are typical Leatherby's over the top, spilled over, can't finish it all sundaes. Our waitress was very smiley. All employees seemed happy to be there. Employees at an ice cream shop better be happy, they are dealing with some of the happiest substance on earth! Nice restaurant (they also have meal items). Plenty of families and kids here. Everyone having a good time. Comfortable booths. It's really a happening place. Good ice cream and friends say their food is good, too. Give them a visit. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

While we waited, we were made to feel like a bother as many employees stood around the back, looking at us, rolling their eyes and sighing as if we walked in right before close. They had others who asked to sit outside and were told they weren't doing patio seating anymore. By the time we were seated, almost 20 minutes had gone by. I politely apologized to the girl who seated us about how large our party was, and mentioned how upset all the employees seemed by our large party. She didn't know what to say other than, "We had a water spill on the other side." Anyway, she walked to the back, told her co-workers, and I could see them looking at our table once again with irritation. Caleb, our waiter, was very nice, but it wasn't enough to offset the rudeness of the other employees. We all ordered an ice cream and 3 baskets of fries. By the time I got home, I was extremely sick. I was the only one who got sick, and I was the only one who addressed the rude behavior. Coincidence? Maybe. Next time, we will take our business where it's wanted.
