I Was running around doing errands and had a hankering for some boba. Saw "best in Utah" sign and said "why not?!" They had a bit of a line, was a good sign. It was clean and had some fun tunes playing. I loved the big menu and all the options. They even had sizes I've never seen before. I had to get the "extra chubby". I ordered a ube coconut snow with lychee jelly and boba pearls with a teriyaki chicken bowl. were set. The price was ideal. And we waited abt 10minutes, I'm assuming bc of the line, but honestly not terrible. IMO. The boba was as good as I've had any other boba spot and the size was just what I wanted for my long day of mommy thangs. it lasted til I was done with all of my errands. It was the perfect "pick me up". The teriyaki bowl would've been great if they didn't soup it up with all the teriyaki sauce. Next time I'll just ask for it on the side. The egg rolls come as part of the bowl and they were good nothing crazy but it hit the spot. For what it's worth I'll def go again. I got the Thai tea milk tea and loved it!! I wish this location wasn't as far from my home because they had sooooo many drink options. I love the inside of this store as well. This is my second time coming here and I wasn't too big of a fan. I think it just might be the drinks I was ordering wasn't the right ones. Ever since tea bars taro smoothie I have high expectations with taro bobas! If the color isn't that bright purple it won't taste good. But with the taro boba here I was surprised by their flavor, it's a little on the sweet side but wasn't bad at all. Only down side is their smoothie drinks are a bit on the Icy side which makes it hard to enjoy. Their boba was really good though it seemed like it was fresh and had that nice chewy texture. Overall this boba spot was okay. I think I'll definitely have to try something else. I pretty much have been coming here since I moved to Utah last year from California. Although I do think there are better spots, Quickly was definitely the cheapest and best bang for your buck. Unfortunately, they raised their prices a few months back, which was the main reason I started coming here. As a boba fanatic I know my fair share of what's great quality and not as great. I always get my green milk tea drink with half sweet. Every time I order this it is always different in sweetness levels based upon who is creating the drink. Consistency is key and definitely not something that should've messed up on. As I'm sure you guys have recipes near your station somewhere? All the workers here are very nice and accommodating. You are immediately greeted and saluted when leaving l, which I think is a nice gesture. The place does get pretty busy at times and have semi-limited seating. There are many places preferred over Quickly, I agree. The boba chains' drinks aren't the greatest and not the greatest quality, but you know you can't go wrong with their popcorn chicken! The popcorn chicken has something that just makes you want more. It definitely pars up with T4 and TapEx food items (and some others). Although they raised their prices it still doesn't stop the large crowd coming in. Extremely bland.... watery and could not taste the milk flavor at all. Bobas are hard! Not the typical chewy ones. Kinda undercooked or maybe they have been left out there for too long kinda thing. Take this review for its intention. It's hit or miss. When they first opened, everything was phenomenal. Friendly staff, friendly owner, friendly service! The few times I run into the owner he is still a great host! But, he's not usually in when I go in. I frequented this Quickly when I lived in the area but now come by whenever I can. My daughter loves the popcorn chicken here and they started overcooking it, so it's mostly crispy, barely any chicken. So whenever I order I have to ask for them not to overcook it. A couple times with door dash orders, I've received the wrong order, and had to drive down to rectify. Today the front cashier who gave us our order was a little snippy and it threw me off. She didn't even make eye contact with me. I ordered over the phone & she said bc it's over $10, I have to pay over the phone, not a big deal. But, I called back and mentioned I didn't give my # for the points and they said there's no way to remedy that, bc it's an in-person thing, when I advised if I had to option to pay in-person I would've put my number in. I asked if they could refund the order and reprocess, so I could add my phone number in-store, She advised she will call customer service to add my points. Not sure if that's a thing, but silly thing to fib about. I said thank you in person for doing this, and she said "yeah." Doesn't bother me too much, maybe she's having a bad day. No excuse for demonstrating it to your guests. We've been supporting this business since it's opening 6 years ago or so. I didn't put the cashier's name in this post on purpose. We went back in to grab a water for my daughter and ordered another popcorn chicken (made well today :), asked them to make it not as crispy), the initial cashier was talking to a friend, in a good mood, so maybe it was just with us. So that's a negative perception. The cashier who did assist us this time, was a boy, made eye contact, seemed like he enjoyed his job, was just nice. Appreciated this interaction. I hope Quickly invests in a training for customer service 101 for their frontline employees --and soon. It's summer time, their patience is about to be tried I get it, but you can't treat paying customers who show you respect, like they're irrelevant. They're your shareholders. This place is cute. It is part of a chain but that did not bother me. I like their drinks quite a bit and they have a lot of different snack type items on the menu that you can order. I like their milk tea with the chicken and rice that's a nice meal. I have had their potstickers on several occasions and I enjoy them they are crunchy and hot and you get yummy sauce to dip them in. It's fun when you order the snacks you get a little bag of goodies with a large wooden pick to help you eat. I like it a lot! I like the Boba and they have all different kinds of things you can add to your drinks. Two of my favorites are the taro and the cantaloupe they are both sweet and refreshing. I got takeout from quickly one time because I had a large order for a lot of people and it was ready fast and everything was good. Spam musubi was good and the drink was basic. I'm not a huge fan of boba but I went because it was recommended to me and probably won't be back here. If you want cheap and easy it's probably ok but if you are a boba fan this most likely isn't the place for you to get your fix. I wanted an iced coffee with coffee jelly as that is pretty much the only thing I like from boba places, but the worker told me they don't do coffee anymore. So after looking at the menu I ordered an iced green tea and asked what jelly they recommended. They then told me that they "didnt like anything on the menu", to which I just said ok and ordered plain crystal jelly. Also couldnt sit inside like I expected, I suppose due to COVID still. This place is okay....we're actually from California and moved to Utah temporarily on a contract. And there was a night that my wife and I were craving boba so much since we drink boba at least 1-2 times a week back in Cali. And we found a quickly in wvc and were shocked and we were happy of course. And we live about 20-25 minutes away from this location so we don't mind the drive as long as there is boba. Anyway. We've been to this location three times already and have ordered several different drinks each time. Let me just say, their regular boba is almost okay tasting. It's actually tasteless, there's no taste actually but eh, it's Utah and better than nothing right? My wife always loves getting chocolate shake as well. And their chocolate shake here tastes so weird, we've got it three times in a row and thought the previous order was made wrong but the taste is consistent so I'm under the impression that's how the chocolate shake tastes here, it tastes like it has a fruity taste to it and is missing the most important ingredient. Which is ice cream...it just tastes like they mix water, ice and chocolate powder to it. That's all... I've gotten their panda tea and almost milk tea here as well...their milk teas tastes watered down... But yeah, this place is okay. I grew up with Quickly in the Bay Area & was so excited when they opened a location here. The family that owns this location is nice & you can tell they care about their business. It's not the best quality boba but the drinks are always consistent. My go-to drinks are either Iced Thai Tea or Jasmine Green Tea with boba & lychee jelly. My husband loves their Taro Snow with boba & coffee jelly. It always hits the spot & the workers are always nice. Quickly is a popular franchise in Taiwan and I was very excited to see if it meets the standard that I had overseas, and it does! I have only known about this place from a friend fee days ago and I've been back twice! I had green milk tea with bubbles and the popcorn chicken with rice, and an order of calamari. The bubble tea is made just right, and the popcorn chicken is authentic as well. Calamari is a little drier than I'd like bit the taste is okay-good. Tapioca balls were also on point. When you order really big drinks in other stores they tend to be watered down for some reason but not at Quickly! In my opinion Quickly has got the best milk tea boba in the state. Coming from Taiwan, I want my boba simple and true to taste (just the original black milk tea) without being too sweet, with the boba being not too firm, but not too squishy either, and this definitely hit the spot. I don't understand how the other places get away with undercooked/overcooked boba and sugar filled drinks for +$5 a pop when it's only $2.50!!! here. I also got to try the taro milk tea with coffee jelly and the strawberry with popping jelly, and they are pretty fun. This place has a lot of different flavors and add ins that I haven't seen in the other places in the state. I was able to finally visit Quickly today because it is located just across the street from Granger High School and I was in the area to get some work done for a club at the University of Utah. It is surrounded by a couple other stores and I almost passed by it, but I saw the quirky lettering and knew that was the shop. The shop is kind of small on the inside, but there are more than enough tables and seats for people to sit at. At the counter, there are a couple Asian food products you can buy, like Pocky and/or Hi-Chew. The staff was very nice. I think I met the owners of the shop. They are very kind and friendly people. I got to chat with them for a little bit before I had to rush over to my class. The price for the boba is unbelievable. I've never had such cheap boba before, it felt pretty good seeing the price. My boba is usually about $6, but at Quickly it was only about $3.50 for the same size (regular size). The boba came out in under a minute. There was basically no wait at all. The tapioca balls were all soft; none of them were still frozen or hard. Sometimes when I have boba at Tea Bar, some of the tapioca balls are still kind of frozen. The tapioca balls are smaller than what I'm used to, but they give you a lot more, which was a nice surprise. The milk tea itself was kind of bland though. I ordered a Strawberry Milk Tea and I was expecting it to be pretty sweet, but it tasted almost just like regular Milk Tea. It didn't taste bad, but it did not taste like strawberry. Overall, I would really like to go back to Quickly. The atmosphere of the whole place is really chill. They play K-Pop in the background and I saw a couple people having a great chat. They sell some pretty delicious Asian snacks and it is really tempting not to buy anything. The boba was very cheap and the wait was not long.
