Points for a beautiful shop with fresh and delicious yogurt and toppings but demerits for lack luster service, some minor cleanliness issues and lack of variety/ family friendly music choice playing in the shop. Some things to note: you will not be allowed to get tester cups and try the yogurts, you will have to request an employee come assist you. Also I found it a little odd that even though it's the holidays they didn't seem to have any seasonal flavors or seasonal decor. I asked for hot fudge topping but they didn't have any warm topping options. There's room for improvement here in my humble opinion.

This spot is my go-to when I'm craving something sweet! They always have the best flavors (15 different options!) and some even sugar free. Plenty of toppings to choose from and I always go all out. My favorite fro-yo place around!

Terrible. Was so excited, and they closed 5 mins before 9 when they are supposed to. I really wanted ice cream.

We stopped in before the movies and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of flavors. we loved the flavors and the toppings. Its in the same plaza as Cineopolis - it was very good. Clean, take your time to choose flavors and have a seat.

Mango and cake batter topped with pretty much everything.

They have great hours and are open till 10 for when you get that late Sunday craving for some froyo. Nice variety of flavors with several fat free sugar free and kosher ones too. Smooth and delicious.

Even with low sugar and less fat, people care about flavor. The vanilla yogurt is creamy and tangy, more like traditional Greek yogurt than overly sweet frozen desserts. It's not as sugary as typical froyo, but still satisfying. What sets it apart is the nutrition--low sugar, high protein, and packed with probiotics--so it feels more like a smart snack than a cheat treat. The classic size has 35 grams of protein. I ordered the vanilla in a kids size cup with berry topping and granola. Each cup comes with 2 toppings to choose from. The size was just about right for me. They do offer 3 size cups(kids size, classic and signature). They offer a good range of toppings, from fresh fruit to crunchy granola or even chocolate. The inside had a nice decor that was clean and modern. I recommend you check the hours beforehand because during the week it opens at 3:00pm and weekends at 1:00pm until 10:00 at night. The service and staff were helpful and kind. They let me sample the yogurt before I bought. Plus, there was a new flavor to try. I definitely recommend and will definitely be back soon!

It's packed with old memorabilia and collectibles, which I'm sure a lot of people enjoy, but for me it made the place feel smaller than it really is. Then again, who doesn't like good ice cream? Even though the place was busy, we had no problem finding a seat. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. When you serve a good product, a crowd comes with it. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call it a home run. I'm not sure if it's somewhere I'd go back to on a regular basis, but I'm glad I tried it. I had thought about taking a younger person there for a birthday, but I think they'd probably have more fun at Jaxson's in Dania Beach. The atmosphere there is more my style. Staff seemed like they were there just for their paychecks, and not really caring for the customer service or offering their opinion or recommendations, the night we visited there was a good amount of patrons. There's seating off the right side of the shop and a few towards the back. They have a very wide selection of ice cream flavors. I settled for a dulce deleche, and it was just ok. We ordered that, and I took some pictures and left. The interior was too much for me, personally. Way too much going on.

The Magic Cow in Coral Springs has a 4.8-star Yelp rating, and their sister store in Davie is apparently one of the top 10 ice cream shops in the entire United States. So naturally, I had to see if the local legend lived up to the hype. (Spoiler: it did. And then some.) The moment we walked in, I was hit with that nostalgic mix of sugar, laughter, and magic that says you're about to make a very good life decision. The owner greeted us like old friends -- warm, funny, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell every scoop that leaves that counter has been crafted with pride. Now, about the ice cream. I went with the Carrot Cake flavor -- and let me tell you, it wasn't just ice cream; it was an experience. Folded into it were ribbons of caramel and bits of pie crust that somehow made me rethink all my previous dessert choices in life. One bite in, and I'm pretty sure I saw colors brighter than usual. My wife went for a combo of Better Batter Cake Carnival and Chocolate Batter Better, and to call it "excellent" would be an understatement. This flavor pairing was pure joy in stereo. I'm pretty sure she stopped listening to me talk for a good five minutes, which is the ultimate compliment to any dessert. Bottom line: The Magic Cow isn't just living up to its reputation -- it's churning out happiness, one scoop at a time. If you haven't been, fix that immediately. Your taste buds will thank you, your diet will forgive you (eventually), and your inner child will do a happy dance.

This franchise of Uncle Louie G's opened in April on Sample Rd in the same plaza as Runyon's. It is owned by Andrea Mormile and her sister, Denise from Brooklyn, New York. The sisters were inspired to open Uncle Louie G's when they couldn't find the kind of icy treats they grew up on. Uncle Louie G''s menu includes 47 flavors of Italian ice and 33 flavors of ice cream including vegan, dairy free, and sugar free. They also sell ice cream cakes, milkshakes, smoothies, ice coffees, Belgian waffle sundaes, and ice cream nachos. For quality control everything's made in Staten Island, New York. They use the best ingredients like real fruit for Italian ice instead of sugar and artificial flavoring. The premium ice cream is 14 percent butterfat and the cheesecake pieces are made from scratch. I had the pleasure of meeting Denise when I stopped in on a steamy Sunday afternoon. The Italian ice is displayed in the cases closer to the door while the ice cream is further down. Ice cream flavors included Louie Big Blue, Brooklyn Cheesecake, and Apple Pie while Italian ice flavors included Oreo cookie dough, chocolate jelly ring, cherry chip, and Italian Dream. I was in the mood for ice and I sampled the cannoli, honey doo, and spumoni. I ended up choosing the spumoni but they were all great. I was impressed with how spot on the flavors tasted. I am still thinking about the honey doo. Sizes come in Brooklyn small ($3.50), small ($4.00), medium ($6.00), and large ($8.00). You can also purchase pints, quarts, and party buckets.
