Each group was provided a mystery box of chicken thighs, and mahi-mahi for protein. We also had broccoli, orange, marmalade, rosemary, and black beans. We all had fun, laughing along with Tre. They make these little twice baked baby potato bites that were out of this world. You'd think a chicken skewer would be boring, but not these. The "Texas Caviar" was a huge hit.Everything was clearly made with quality ingredients and the presentation was perfect. They provided literally everything for the guests down to little baby forks for the cheese. We opted for staff to help manage the offerings and food and it was worth every penny. Chef Matt was busy assembling fresh hors hor d'oeuvres while Cindy and Mary were diligently attending to the guests. They mastered the art of being there when needed but not over doing it. They passed the appetizers which was such a classy touch to the experience. Matt took great care in preparing each and every item. He made them look as delicious as they were. After I explained I was waiting for two others, she said "okay" and then started taking names and numbers from other parties, leaving me off to the side without her saying anything else. It was odd, so I sat down. After sitting for maybe 5-7 minutes, I noticed she was taking names for parties of 2 and 3, which was confusing. When I asked about it, she said she already had my party and name even though she had never taken it. At that point, it felt like the Chinese restaurant episode of Seinfeld, where somehow you're waiting but also not really on the list. She finally took my name for a party of three and quoted a 30-45 minute wait, without accounting for the time already lost. My family members arrived shortly after, and we still waited another 20 minutes or so. Once we were seated, the service didn't improve much. Our server was extremely slow, and everything came out at once. We barely had time to get drinks, salads, or biscuits before the food arrived. Refills and additional requests felt more burdensome than attentive. While the food and drinks themselves were great, the overall service felt very disorganized and subpar.
