Devin and Captain Ken were kind and comforting as we planned the 1.5 hour cruise to scatter our beloveds' ashes near Diamond Head (I am on the east coast, so everything was over the phone or via email). Captain Ashley and her first mate were thorough, compassionate and helped us make the morning a truly meaningful ceremony. The Hawaiian Eco-urns were beautiful, as were the flower petals. We couldn't have planned the Blue Angel flyover- but it happened and my niece got the best photo (thanks, Dad, for winking at us from the heavens). While tears were shed, so were shared stories and big hugs. Thank you, Waikiki Boat Charters, for making the day so memorable. It was a perfect send off for those we loved.

We are back on the island. It's time to rent our gears here at Aqua Zone again. This is our go to…read moreplace for gears. On our last day of snorkeling one of the fins ripped. My son was putting it on and it ripped. The day of the return Paul was the person helping my wife. My wife told Paul the the other fin ripped. My wife called me on the phone about this matter. He was going to charge us $29 for the damage fin. I was pissed because those fins was old and thin already. I can understand If it's new. We didn't want to pay the $29. Aqua Zone was about to lose a customer and a bad Yelp review. Paul called the owner and the owner was nice enough to not charge us. So I'm a happy customer once again. Thanks to Paul for working with us about this problem. Aqua Zone is still our go to place!!

Had the best time snorkeling with sea turtles today!…read more Boat ride was ~20 minutes. Anchored out by Waikiki Beach, just past the surfers. The reef itself is not colorful like Finding Nemo, but there were plenty of fish to see and quite a few turtles swimming around. We saw a handful of large sea turtles and a few baby ones. Loved watching them come up for air and swim around beneath me. Glad to see how comfortable turtles are with snorkelers. We had one person chase after a large turtle to try and touch it. There's always that one kid in class... Crew members were great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and brief! My partner went diving and had a lot of fun seeing the little sharks down below in the caves of the reef and swimming with turtles. Water visibility was good, not as clear as Molokini in Maui, but this place had turtles!! I THINK they're limiting capacity due to COVID, which is nice since the boat only had 8 people. Definitely would do this again!

Four adults and 3 kids - ages 4 - 14 - and we will all remember it as a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and the crew was great - professional, friendly, and very attentive. They brought on board whatever we wanted to eat and drink (we arranged beforehand) and made sure we always had food or drink that we wanted. They let the boys take a turn at the the wheel and spent significant time with the 14-year-old, teaching him about the compass and how to set and maintain a heading, etc. This was a pricey time, but well worth it in my opinion. He made my two girls 13 and 10 years old feel safe and comfortable in the open ocean. He was extremely knowledgable, patient and had really good, positive energy to help the girls gain confidence on their first dives. He had a vast knowledge of where things were underwater and what we should see while we were there. We got to see sea turtles, white tip sharks, and many fish gathering around the coral reefs. He helped us complete the referral dive tests with flying colors! We would highly recommend him as a diving guide or instructor. He took pictures for us of all of the highlights so we didn't even have to worry about the camera. Very organized and informative the whole way through. Excellent!

When I was off on my own, she was in touch making sure I was safe hiking around the Pauoa Flats Trail or I had found the right paddle board yoga or I was enjoying the KCC farmers market after hiking Diamond Crater. She also put together boating with more glimpses of turtles and paddling boarding with more serene views, it was great.
