I was extremely disappointed with my daughter's experience at Ashlynn. Unfortunately, the color could not be corrected without causing further damage, and 6.5 inches of my daughter's hair had to be cut off. I contacted the manager about the situation, and ultimately I ended up spending $700 total to have my daughter's hair corrected. I was incredibly disappointed that we not only had to spend that much money to fix the original service, but my daughter also lost 6.5 inches of her hair because the color could not be fixed. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expected the salon to acknowledge the problem and take responsibility for the outcome. Instead, I was left feeling like the orange color was considered acceptable when it clearly was not what we wanted. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on our experience. The amount of money, stress, and the loss of my daughter's hair was extremely upsetting.

Sometimes you'll just get an answering machine that will tell you to leave your name and number and they will call you back never even if you leave your name and number. Now this was for the Shawnee Mission office on Long, which, since I couldn't get through to them on the phone I drove here and their office is vacant. Maybe they left because they don't bother to answer the phone and schedule any patients I don't know. Their other offices are not much better. I'm gonna look for a dermatology practice that can at least be bothered to answer their telephone.
