Amazing Dr. I love the wbtire office. They speak Cantonese, mandarin, English. Dr. YONK is very busy but he's definitely a keeper as a PCP. He has great referrals also, and he would work with you with recommendations based on your needs. He has great bed side manner The front desk girls are very helpful and kind . Everyone in there is very pleasant. My mother goes there also, she's the one that recommended me thisnplace It gets very busy in there and people get hangry lol because most of the appointment you have to be NPO But everyone tries their best to get you in asap. read more

This review is solely for Dr. Li, the female DO doctor. I came here with my grandpa to get paperwork filled out. The forms just needed Dr. Li's assessment as to whether my grandpa is mentally competent. She wrote that he was and initially gave me the papers. Then she changed her mind and insisted that he do bloodwork in order to get the paperwork back. She basically held the forms hostage. It was all just a ridiculous excuse to bill his insurance for bloodwork which had no bearing on his mental awareness AT ALL. read more

This place is full of rude people especially the receptionist. During my visit I accidentally spilled something on the seat and asked the receptionist if they have any extra napkins. The receptionist was rude, rolled her eyes, and then gave me a napkin. Well I guess I should have left the place dirty if you acted like that. The doctors there are also clueless don't know anything about my past history and asked me instead. Everytime I go in its always a different doctor. Avoid this shithole. The receptionists and the doctors are unprofessional and not helpful. Nothing here has any semblance of organization. The level of incompetence is astounding. The messages that I get from various people there conflict with one another. You can tell they don't know what they're doing. Rather than going to receive healthcare, it feels more like having to fight for your rights and make sure you're not screwed over health-wise and financially. Going there is more stressful than actually being sick. The clinic's out for their own backs and financial gain, rather than actual patient care. They tried to charge my brother $25 for simply printing out a report, when he didn't even look to meet with the doctor... he just wanted a print out. You're not going to get much out of it unless you advocate for yourself and do your research on treatments, tests, etc. Appointments aren't actually appointments. I made an appointment and explicitly asked if there would be a wait (this is during COVID so I wanted to have a sense of what to expect). They said no wait, come ten min early and you'll be fine. I get there as asked and then the first thing they tell me is that my health insurance policy is expired (it is not). Then they kept me waiting 40 min while the doctor was eating lunch. Not that I have problem with people eating lunch, they absolutely should, but why would you eat lunch at a time when you know you have an appointment scheduled??? Then, another time that I scheduled an appointment, I got a call early that morning to "come immediately" because the doctor is leaving at noon. I had scheduled a 2:30pm appointment that day because they explicitly told me to. Otherwise, I would have come at 1:30pm. Ok, fine, I go there immediately and then there are 3 people waiting in line and I had to stand outside to wait... so why they heck was I asked to go there immediately??? I get that doctors have patients to take care of but there is absolutely no respect for the patient's own lives and schedules. At the very least, be reasonable when I have been so flexible with my schedule to accomodate theirs. The doctors that I have encountered during my visits here have been unhelpful, and made me upset, confused, and worried about navigating my health when it should have been simple. Just as ONE of several examples, I went to see a gynecologist there a few years back, and the people (the group of receptionists and the nurse that do intake) made snarky comments asking me why I would get an annual check up with a gynocologist if I'm not married. This is not ok, inappropriate, and straight up false. You don't need to be married to need to go see a gynecologist, lol. I told the doctor and she just dismissed those comments without any kind of apology or repercussions for the alienating comments they made. Then, I ask for birth control and the doctor refuses to give me beyond 2 month's worth of birth control pills, saying that she doesn't like it because she said long term use increases risk of ovarian and endometrial cancer and doesn't want to give it to me. She told me to "just use condoms." (I later checked with my health care provider that I used in college and they said that the comments that the doctor gave me led them to think I was in Alabama or something. And they said the comment about cancer were not true, my previous doctor said. Terrible. You never see the same doctor twice. Doctor doesn't care about your needs and is only with you for 5 minutes. They wanted to charge me copay for an "office visit" when all I needed was a doctor to fill out a health form. Never have I been charged copay for any doctor to fill out a form from any office. They charged my father copay to see the results from his annual. My brother had to pay copay to get a urine test from the annual exam. The annual exam is without copay and anything related to it is the same. How are you to keep patients if you plan to charge them for everything? Christmas tree has been up all year round and rug is duct taped down on the floor. Nurses are rude. The only constant people in the office are those advertising for insurance. read more

For the office on 7112 Bay Parkway Brooklyn Pros: - Walk-in only - The office is new, so things are clean, for now. - The receptionist who greeted me was warm and attentive for 10 seconds (more than other places!). Cons: overall, this was a very poor experience. - Walk in only: The wait can be over 2 hours. - The people I dealt with today did not speak English well. I was barely able to understand the nurse practitioner. - Unprofessional: * The person who performed the venipuncture didn't bother coming out of the room to call my name. She sat in her chair in the venipuncture room and yelled my name. I had to look for her. * They do not introduce themselves or even greet you before telling you what to do. They responded with attitude when I asked who they were and what they were doing. * They lied about me seeing a doctor. I did not see a doctor, I saw a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner called herself a doctor when I asked who she was and her name. Again, she didn't bother coming to the reception area, she just yelled my name from her office. She became defensive when I pointed out she was not a doctor. She said everyone called her doctor and she has an office so therefore she introduces herself as such. - Dismissive: * Asked me what was wrong and just gave me a referral. The appointment was barely 10 minutes. * I asked her if one of my clinical signs could be due to stress and she asked what could I possibly be stressed about in an extremely condescending tone. * They do not close the door, and will talk about personal medical issues for everyone to hear. - Not thorough: * The nurse practitioner did not bother asculting my lungs or heart. Did not palpate for any lumps.j * The nurse practitioner did not go over my EKG results. I had to ask about it. * The receptionist gave me the wrong referral card. * The person who performed the venipuncture forgot to tie my arm before opening the needle. She placed the needle onto the table and tried to use it for the blood draw. I had to ask her to get a new needle. read more

I'm the kind of person who likes to be in and out of medical offices, I don't like long visits. I was surprised at the bad reviews for this clinic because I've been a patient for 2 years and I find them to be very efficient. I've never spent more than 2 hours and that was for my yearly physical. It's true you never see the same doctor twice, but as an adult I don't find that necessarily important since I only come once a year and for sick visits. This clinic is generally clean, and has two floors. Top floor is for internal medicine and ophthalmology. Basement is for acupuncture, or PT? I'm not sure I haven't used those services yet. There's two bathrooms, both which are surprisingly clean. The intake nurses are decent and I haven't had a bad experience, they quickly take your BP and weight then you wait for the doctor. I took off one star because the employees mostly speak mandarin/cantonese and English is semi-decent. Since this clinic is located in a predominantly mixed neighborhood it would be beneficial if they hired more bilingual individuals! read more

This is based on their 86 St location as I heard they have another location at 61 st. The doctors will ask you what's wrong and evaluate you. You will find that most of the doctors are newbies still in their residency training. My bad experience is solely on the front reception staff (especially the one that sits up front who is short, petite, with long hair and wear lots of make up) and the cleanliness of this place. During one weekend when I couldn't go to my regular doctor and had an emergency allergy reaction I came here since it was near my home. When I ask the receptionists if they accepted my insurance she was rude and told me I should check on my own. Will since it was an medical emergency I was willing to pay out of pocket. While filling out the forms the stupid receptionist must of thought I was uneducated like them and started talking about me out loud in Mandarin thinking I wouldn't understand. The short long hair one with lots of makeup should really be fired since she is rude, unhelpful and extremely unprofessional to be working at a medical office. While waiting to see the doctor this same receptionist was yelling at an elderly old lady who had a hard time writing her name at the check in chart.The place is dark and gloomy. I have been a patient in this clinic for many years. This place used to been a clinic with good doctors. I used to see Dr Simon Li. He is really good doctor and always gives accurate diagnosis. Then he left the clinic 2 years ago, then I followed another female Dr Li. She was also very good. However, she also left the clinic couple months ago. Then I just randomly see what ever doctors that is on duty that day. I did my check up few months back, the female PA with long hair and mandarin specking told I have chronic hepatitis B and want me to follow up every 3 months. I have been yearly check up in this clinic for so many years and no one have told that I have hepatitis B. I was shock and got a big argument with my husband. I did what the PA told me and follow up 3 months for blood draw. I went back to review my labs result. Another doctor reviewed all my 5 years labs reports and told me that I do not have hepatitis B. I have past infection and it was already cured many years ago. The PA made the wrong diagnosis. As a patient when you seek medical care, you want a accurate diagnosis and proper treatment. You can't find it here anymore , since all the good MD doctors have left. read more

Service at this location is the WORSE ever! I went there today for an annual check up. When the nurse greeted me, I told her I came in for an annual check up. She measured my blood pressure and weight then had me wait at the waiting area. I waited for almost an hour, she still didn't draw my blood. So I asked her politely if she could help me draw blood. And she asked with attitude, "what you came here for? Annual check up?" I said yes. She said why didn't you tell me that you needed your blood draw? WTF?!?! she can't be serious. I told her that I came in for an annual check up and isn't drawing blood the essential procedure for an annual check up??? And she needed me to tell her to do it for me??? So I was telling her I didn't know what their procedure is. She said I had to let her know that the doctor already enter a ticket for me to have annual check up. Shouldn't she already see it in the computer??? The last time I was here the doctor told me that on the day I come in to do my annual check up, just to let the nurse know that I am coming in for the annual check up and everything is entered in the computer already. So obviously she was being neglected and didn't see it in the computer. Anyways, my point is, even though there was possibly some misunderstanding, but as a service provider, she should at least have some manner instead of starting a fight with patients who come to your clinic. Patients are basically her bosses' bosses. Patients come, then her bosses could claim money from patients insurance, then pay their employees. With so many doctor offices everywhere, we do NOT necessarily have to come to yours. It's really pathetic that nowadays it's already difficult to find a good ethical doctor, yet most doctor offices have rude, unprofessional, unethical receptionists and nurses, making it a hell of a visit for the patients.
