They lasted almost 2 weeks and cost me $42, which was great. You can choose your stems and make your arrangement at home. They also make stunning arrangements if you want a delivery. It's not often that you truly get to experience a sincere and genuine business opportunity but I did with the York Flower Shop. Without getting into details of what caused me to contact Ms. Nunez, I can only praise her professionalism and cooperation especially for something that her shop wasn't even responsible for. In this day and age of continuous confrontation and angst, it so refreshing to interact with such a nice person and establishment that reminds you we still have a chance to have social interactions and feel good doing so. Do not hire York Flower Shop for your wedding. They did not listen to my vision and what was set up on my wedding day was completely different then what was agreed to. In fact - the shop didn't even show up on our day - they had another florist do the job. Our head table did not have any flowers because they "ran out" by using the flowers elsewhere. I ordered my flowers for my wedding from this shop and could not be more disappointed. I spent literally thousands on flowers that were NOTHING like what I asked for. I wanted muted colors and they were bright purple and pinks. The men were supposed to have mauve boutonnieres and they were purple. The bracelet corsages we ordered for the moms and grandmothers were terrible and 2 broke even before the ceremony. I just recieved the photos from my wedding day and the flowers just look terrible. I have included photos of what I asked for and what i got. So disappointed and would not recommend. The muted bouquet with mauve was requested and the bright purple and pink is what I got. read more

Very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service at York Flower Shop. I am from Massachusetts and getting married very close to the area in May. My fiance and I had stopped in twice, once in October and once in November to discuss ordering flowers for our wedding. Both times and by two different employees we were told that we had plenty of time to order flowers and that we should come back in February. We had even asked about making an appointment once when we were there visiting and were told we would be fine and should wait until February. Since we are not having a wedding party we are not ordering many flowers anyways and weren't too worried. My fiance and I are going to be in Maine a the end of February, so I called to see if we could stop by in between me getting my hair done and meeting with our photographer. The woman I spoke with was very stand offish and told me that the Saturday I was looking for was completely booked. When I put up a little bit of a stink, because I was frustrated she called back shortly and said I could come in at 9:15am when I had specifically told her that I couldn't come until after 1pm. She also made the comment that May 2nd is right before Mother's Day. I'm sorry, but isn't this a florist? May 2nd is right before the 4th of July too! There are actually several other florists in the area who I have been looking into. Just found a florist today and I am so happy that she can accommodate me. Wish I had gone to her to begin with. I am so disappointed in the customer service at York Flower Shop. I will never ever recommend this florist to anyone. Good thing there are plenty of other florists in the area who are professional, caring, and who can accommodate their customers. Horrible experience here! read more

I married a woman, so if you can imagine York Flower shop had to deal with two women's opinions, styles, and double the bridesmaids... York Flower Shop was up for the task and exceeded our expectations! When the flowers arrived to my dears grandmothers house, where we were getting ready, I was amazed. Flored. What an amazing addition to our special day. Pinks, and golds, and greenery! Absolutely gorgeous. The day was marked by many special moments, memories from our amazing family and friends, and the awesome opportunity to be able to marry one another as a product of the Supreme Court Justice ruling. No, the flowers were not the only part of the day, but they created the beauty, and ceremonial decoration to what will always remain one of the most special days in our lives.
