While my husband was using our Troybilt riding lawnmower it suddenly started making a horrible noise. We had bought an extended warranty so I called Troybilt and they said York would be at the house in a couple of days. York called me a couple hours later and came to get the mower the same day. They replaced the engine and had it back to us in less than a week. When my husband went to use it something went wrong and we called them back. They immediately came back and picked up the mower. We live about an hour from their shop. Due to a mistake their mechanic made they replaced the engine again and just delivered our mower. They have been super quick in all our dealings, honest, and so helpful. We will use them from now on with all our lawn and garden equipment. After searching extensively for a fuse that might have blown while installing a new battery I decided to take it to a genuine Generac service location. I explained my situation which was my inability to find a possibly blown fuse as well as a pulled wire which was easily reattachable. York reattached the wire and showed me where the fuse is/was located. I would've been able to reattach the wire and change out the fuse in no more than 15 mins....let's call it an hour. took small crapsman tiller in for warranty repair. he would not give receipt for drop off. he called to say ready for pick up. got there he said now leaking, needed more work. was not leaking when dropped off, just would not start. went to pick up again. asked about leaks. he said must have just been over filled. NO, IT WAS NOT. not given any paper work. got it home and it still would not start. noticed air filter cover was missing. called and he said he would look for it. I asked if that would keep it from starting. he said no. I said it still would not start. he said he saw it running. I said my mistake was not having you start it while I was there picking it up. he said yeah. guess I scrap it for parts or junk and forgive those that trespass against me. prayer's included. ps; my back is very bad, i am usually humped over and in pain. so I try to hurry to get back home where I feel most comfortable. read more
