I had a consultation with Dr. Kami Owen at You Only Younger. During the appointment, she described a device called "RASHA®" and said it could treat me remotely over Zoom. The explanation involved terms like scalar energy, quantum fields, base-12 frequencies, and advanced sound technology. No scientific evidence or plausible biological mechanism was provided to support how a machine could treat a physical condition remotely, and I could not find any credible sources validating these claims. During the consultation, Dr. Owen also asked if I thought I could get better. When I said I didn't know, she stated, "With that belief, you'll never heal." While I agree that mindset can support recovery, I do not believe that belief alone can cure a physical condition. This comment made me uncomfortable, as it seemed to suggest that healing depends on belief rather than evidence-based treatment for my condition. Overall, I was concerned about the lack of verifiable evidence for the therapy and the framing that healing depends on mindset. I would encourage anyone considering this type of treatment to ask detailed questions, request published evidence, and carefully research before proceeding. I wanted to believe. I'm sure their med spa is fine, but if you are considering their "healing" plan, I highly suggest against this if you are not from Houston and will be remote. The owner accepted my $5,500, knowing I was remote and wouldn't be able to travel to Sugarland. However, every time I informed her I was not getting better she continually told me she could "fix" me if I was in-person and could run her in-person protocol. I was remote the entire time, and she knew this and still took my money. I have a medical issue that I told her about a few times, but she blew it off and continued the same "cookie-cutter" remote protocol. Towards the end of the 3-4 months (for $5,500) of remote work only, I informed her I was diagnosed again with this disease. Since it was the end of my "program" she rambled off multiple things I should do and then ghosted me. Not only did she ghost me, but I cannot tell you how many times her team completely dropped the ball on my follow-ups, supplements, etc. I had to reach out and remind them weekly what was needed. This may be a decent program if you are local and can see them in person, but the remote program is a complete waste of time and big money, and honestly, I was scammed out of $5,500. She sent me $1,000 because she knew they didn't take care of me, but I feel I should receive the entire $5,500 for wasting 3-4 months of my time on her program. Do not run the "healing" program if you plan to do this on a remote basis. It's a complete scam, and frankly, she stole from me. I should have known when she was selling me on the program, and it felt like I was speaking to a used car salesman. I have been to tons of different aestheticians at a variety of places, and Kathy really surprised me. Super disappointing overall. I had such high hopes when I arrived for my Botox consultation scheduled for 4:30 p.m. I have festoons (upper cheekbone swelling), and after doing some research decided to try fillers for the first time. Once I've arrived and filled out the paperwork I was escorted into a room for a consultation with an esthetician which I did not request or came there to do. This "complimentary" service is really and truly simply a subtle way for the salon to get you interested in their services and products. A little foreplay before you really get screwed over :) I wasn't there to see an esthetician...but i went with the flow realizing they will try and sell me something. I was correct. The esthetician proceeded to review and "critique" my skincare and bagging everything that is available over the counter under the sun. She made recommendations followed by (of course) an attempt to sell not so cheap salon products they use. You get the drift. So (finally!) 25 minutes into my appointment and after their closing time at 5 p.m. I finally meet the injections professional. She began with talking to me about a wrinkle between my eye brows and how great the products I was recommended will go with the injections. This is when I was confused because that was not what I requested this consultation for. I came strictly for information about my festoons ( bags on cheekbones) which I clearly indicated on the paperwork. So I had to stop her and explained that I'm not here for those services.I then realized that she didn't even read or look at my paperwork or go over it. She didn't even ask me "how can i help you? What is it YOU are looking for? What is YOUR budget? It all went down hill from there for me. The strange part was when she told me that she would have to be careful and not to fill in too much so i don't look like a cat lady, and that I will need a double of the injections under my eyes for a smooth look. HUH?! Knowing that this was my first time considering injections anyone would think that you should start slow. She told me that I was going to need 2,500$ worth of injections which surprised me because from the research I've done by watching videos of actual plastic surgeons and reading about my condition I knew I did not need over 30 injections I was being pushed for. I'm barely 41 years old with great skin and barely any wrinkles.Just the festoons! This is when i realized that she really doesn't know how to deal with my condition. Not surprisingly it took her only a few minutes to write an estimate for 2,500$. It was past 5 p.m. and she obviously wanted to get home. I get it. But this is my face we are talking about. What about my budget? Does anybody care? Apparently not. 8 minutes and 2,500$ worth of estimate later, and 240$ worth of product I didn't really need to buy (less than 2 oz!) I left disappointed and with a very confused feeling. In summary : I felt really rushed, pressured, provided with service I didn't ask for, with my needs not understood in this money making factory. I visited You Only Younger yesterday to have the Miradry procedure done yesterday (and have had several other wonderful procedures--injections, facials there), and I am so thrilled with the results after just one day. Brandee did the procedure, which takes about 1.5 hours, and she was phenomenal. She has also done my Xeomin a couple months ago (which is fabulous, and I still have GREAT results). The Miradry was not painful. Ironically, the most "painful" part of it was the numbing injections, but we talked, listened to music, so it wasn't bad. Since you are numb you can't even actually feel the Miradry machine. I just felt a tiny bit of suction and the tiniest bit of warmth. I decided to have this procedure not due to excessive sweating for me, but because I suddenly in the last few months developed an allergy to any deodorant from organic to drugstore to clinical grade. I am so happy to NEVER have to wear deodorant again, and not sweating and hair loss are an absolute bonus for me!!! I love this medical spa. The staff are ALL so friendly, from Tara at the front to the owners, Kami and Donna, Kathy, one of the estheticians, and the manager, Christine. It's decorated beautifully, and everyone wants to help you in any way possible. You don't ever feel like you are in a "medical" spa, they make you feel so comfortable. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend You Only Younger for any of your medspa needs. I went back to You Only Younger to see Brandee for my Botox. We decided on Xeomin rather than Botox, and I am THRILLED with my results. I believe this is the 3rd time she has done it for me, and she is so gentle and a true artist. The product kicked in very quickly (within 3 days, although I know everyone is different), and it lasts a really long time, longer than Botox or Dysport, in my opinion. We also decided to do a little bit of cheek filler, and she was conservative saying that we could always add more, as I didn't want to look puffy. I had no bruising and very minimal swelling, as I was going on a trip in a couple of days. I am so happy with my results. She truly listens to what you want and follows up to make sure you are happy with your results or need touch ups. I highly recommend You Only Younger for all of your aesthetic needs. They made recommendations to me, which I wanted to think about. They were not pushy and were accepting of me wanting to think about. This is a very nice facility. Very good Botox results. It's too bad in the three years I was a client I never received their emails for twice a year Botox promotions. I recently moved North of the Galleria. While looking for a new place closer to me - which I really didn't want to do!-- I noticed You Only Younger had a Groupon! I purchased it. Turns out not only did I never have an opportunity to buy their twice a year promotion, I couldn't use this groupon because I had been there within the year - about 8 months ago. I explained this to the receptionist - she didn't really care. Customer service is definitely lacking! They lost a steady customer who was willing to drive an hour+ to their location. read more

I had my Miradry done here in January after a lot of researching for a good place for this treatment. And I was really happy with my whole experience here. Naomi, who is a nurse practitioner, is very sweet and kind,treated me with care during and even after procedure. I felt assured since she certainly has the knowledge and experience to know what she should do to get the best results . Also, miss Christine was super nice on keep checking up with conditions after the procedure. The numbing needles are also the advanced one, so it will lessen the discomfort, which they said it was the worst part, but I didn't feel a thing with this needle thing. I love the Miradry treatment. However, with my body natural disposition, I would certainly go back for the second treatment to get the best result possible to deal with the heat in Houston. read more

I went here because I found a groupon for a facial and glycolic peel, and there were great reviews on spa finder. My experience was wonderful. The spa itself was very pretty and clean. The people that work there take the time to go through your history, have a discussion with you, and assess the best options for your skin. The actual facial itself was very pleasant. Every step was taken by the employees to assure that I was comfortable during the process. Aside from a great facial, and good customer service, the prices are very reasonable for what you get. I finally bit the bullet and decided to splurge on YO.Y Charming Cheeks (Dermal Filler) One aspect of the face that quickly shows our age is under the eye and mid-face area. We all have a pad of fat that migrate down as we age, which causes the lines and furrows around the nose and mouth to get deeper and more noticeable. By re-volumizing this area, we can achieve our youthful and rested appearance while improving other aspects of the face that are affected by fall of our mid-face. There are several approaches for this area and typically Radiesse is an excellent choice. Price varies depending on client's need. The starting price includes one Radiesse 1.5 ml syringe at $650.00. I went to You Only Younger due to a Groupon deal for Botox that I couldn't pass up. The facility is decorated beautifully and it's a very inviting environment. I'm so bad with names but the person who did my Botox was an RN which really impressed me. She was very thorough, taking her time to go through my areas of concern and discussing what she was going to do each step of the way. This was not my first time for receiving Botox but I would definitely recommend coming here since the staff was so thorough and so receptive to my needs. They even make sure that you schedule a follow-up appointment so that she can make sure that the Botox was effective and make any touch ups if necessary. I went there for the first time today. The office is absolutely gorgeous!!! The pictures do not do it justice. The front fest staff were excellent, friendly, prompt and professional. I have had Botox injections a couple times before and was very, very reluctant to go try it again since the last time I had drooping in my right eyelid for about 1 month. Kami did an excellent examination and assessment and explained that my muscles around my eyes are just more angled and this caused my issue last time. She did a thorough explanation of the medication she was going to use. She was so gentle with the injections that I barely felt them. She finished off the session with just a little dusting a powder for my face that had a little caffeine to prevent any bleeding and to just cover up any redness that might occur. Just little things like that let me know that they have thought about every concern of the patient and addressed them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. If you live in town, she worth every minute on 59 to go see her. As a nurse, I am super picky about selecting providers and Kami was beyond excellent!!!! read more

I have been coming to YOY for a couple of years now for Botox treatments. I had tried several other places previously and have found YOY to be better on several fronts. First, the people are great! When I first started coming my appointments were with Tami - who is awesome. I don't remember why I switched (probably an availability reason) but I have been going to Gabriela for a while now - who is also awesome. Gabriela is so gentle! I don't know how she manages to minimize the pain but it just hurts a little bit less than it used to. Recently she recommended a filler in my cheekbone area. I was a little hesitant because I don't want an unnatural look but gave it a try. Wow - very pleased with the results - Gabriela errs on the side of caution and will add more a couple of weeks later if more dramatic results are desired. I think that is perfect - you can always add more but you can't take it away once it is there! I also like that they don't have a pushy upsell program. They make recommendations on products but they aren't pushy. I will say that the few times I decided to purchase one of their recommended products I ended up really liking them. read more

Initially the Botox was great but it didn't last more than 6 weeks. The nurse stated that she injected 32 units but usually 32 units last at least 5 months on me. The owner was also very unfair. I was going to be late for the appointment and I called to ask if it's ok if I'm late for 10 minutes. The lady on the phone said let's reschedule it without mentioning she is charging me $50 for not showing up at the appointment. They just took it out of my credit card without letting me know in advance! The owner was misinformed with wrong information but she was hesitant to know the true facts.
