BEWARE: I signed up for personal trainer at the Douglasville GA location. That was a HUGE mistake! I had one trainer who left after two visits. Then another who would cancel as I was putting my shoes on. Happened about 5 times. Then I had a great one for 1 month and is leaving. I love how intimate the gym is and people are friendly and honestly there for a workout.

BEWARE!! They will not actually cancel your membership and charge you when your not going!! This gym is crazy. I had a membership in 2016. I went up to the gym to cancel the membership a year later. The employees never did the paperwork even when I went up there. They did not cancel my membership when I asked them to and now they are leaving me responsible for years of memberships I canceled years ago. I have not stepped into a youfit since 2016. And when I canceled in 2017. They will TAKE YOIR MONEY AND NOT CARE. I have contacted multiple people simply asking for the last year fee back. And they can't even do this. Canceled in person, filled out paper work 6 months ago. And they still are randomly charging me $10 a month and also a $49.99 out of nowhere ! I don't even live in the same state anymore. I called and they explained I need to write a letter and send it with $10 to their office to cancel. Craziest policy I've ever heard of and partially a scam. Who has time to write letters to cancel a simple membership? and where is this $49.99 bill coming from when your company clearly states it's a one time fee to sign up and you keep pulling it out when it's supposed to be $10 a month ? read more

I love this gym. It's clean and the staff is friendly. I love the purple and green color concept as well as the "green" environment enphasis. If a gym like this can be Eco friendly then all of them should be. I would give it 5 stars but it doesn't offer group classes (I want yoga sooo bad) or have a sauna, pool, etc. Also I kinda wish it was open later on weekends even though it is open later than the other gyms in douglasville :) But I recommend it to anyone who asks me where I work out and I absolutely feel comfortable working out here any time of day. I joined this club because there was no Planet Fitness in Douglasville. I have been a menber of many club Ballys, 24hr Fitness, etc this eas the worst. What a mistake that was they charged a renewal fee 2 months after I started. Also they will charge you a $10.00 fee to cancel your membership and it has to all be done in person. The 1st gym I ever joined and I love it ... the only thing I'd change about it would be to have 24 hr access to it but other then that I love it !!! It's always clean, everybody is always friendly, and the regulars learn and look at for each other during workouts. If you need a spotter or if you can't get that weight up, there's always someone watching and willing to help without even asking. I usually go at least 4 days a week. read more

This is a good gym. I read some of the other reviews, don't get it. The place is always clean, the machines are well maintained and fixed quickly when they break. The staff is friendly and the people in there are pretty nice. I've worked out in about every gym in the county and many all over the world. The only reason I don't give them five stars is I like Hammer Strength eguipment. Not enough stuff that allows you to work without one side assisting the other. Okay. Does it have a pool? No. Is there a sauna? No. However, what it does have is a clean facility, friendly and helpful staff, and is open seven (7) days a week!! Limited hours are on Saturday and Sunday, but that is still a plus. I feel at home at this place. I am a true senior citizen that has allowed her weight to get out of control! I am not surrounded by the pretty little thin girls with long pretty hair. I am quite at home going in my short piggy tail and no make-up. The equipment is clean and appears to be relatively new, not worn out! Dylan is delicious, Zo is zealous (I'm old enough to be the mother of both) so no flirting going on here. That is another thing. Everyone is professional. I like that they know my name. To Ashley's comment... I signed up for a trainer too and it was made clear to me that I COULD NOT CANCEL until I had completed my contract which is three (3) months. If you tried to cancel after your contract had ended, I agree that is unacceptable. Bottom line, this is the place you need to be if you are serious about getting tight and right!!! read more

I really wanted to like this gym as it is only $10/month. However, I signed up for personal training sessions and then everything went downhill from there. I attempted to cancel my training on THREE separate occasions and they are still charging me for it. I attempted to contact the corporate office about this matter and the phone number listed on the website only links you back to your local youfit gym. Unacceptable! If you are thinking about joining this gym...don't! When I joined this gym, I wanted to pay my monthly fees upfront for the entire year but I was told that the corp. office will not allow them to do that. So they now have total access to my bank account. My credit card was stolen in December and I was charged a fee of $30 for November plus another $10 at the end of the month. I immediately called and spoke to two people and informed them of the situation and requested that my membership be cancelled. I also sent a message to the corp. office about this occurrence. This company has now raised my monthly fee to $15 per month and even though I referred my brother in law to this facility in November 2014, I have yet to receive a credit on my account. I just called them again to find out why my membership has not been cancelled and asked for a manager. A rude lady with an attitude got on the phone...."assistant manager" and refused to let me speak to Terrance the supposed "manager". I have already reported this facility to the BBB and I will not stop there. They just take what they want from YOUR bank account and you will NEVER get an email, mail, or phone call about the change or additional fees. Save your money find another gym. This gym has some of the rudest staff I've ever met. I used to work for L.A. fitness, And I didn't think a gym could get much worst. This you fit location has rude front desk, one girl has talked back to me and given smart a** answers on several occasions. I let her know one morning that the bathrooms/showers needed to be tended to for cleaning. She replied "oh really? That's funny because I just checked them." Implying that I was making it up or just complaining for no reason. And almost every time I go into this gym it feels like a sweat shop, the fans are not on but the heat is on full blast. There is no air circulation. And that feels miserable if you are actually trying to get a work out in. This morning I asked simply if they could turn the fans on because it was really warm in the gym as usual. Then she chirped up saying , " well when I get here the gym is 55 degrees". Once again it's not 5 a.m. It's 10:30 a.m. So it's not 55 degrees anymore. And I don't really care. Put a coat on. It's about the consumer who is paying for a membership. She is always rude. I've never even written a review on anywhere. But this has beyond pissed me off and ruined my workout. The only good thing I can say is their equipment is nice. Other then that this place sucks. I wish I would have signed up at golds gym or even LA Fitness. I have been to other locations besides Douglasville and they have much nicer staff and the gym is a reasonable temperature. read more

I bought memberships for my GF and I. My first day in the first few minutes an employee was rude and interrupted me in the middle of cable flyes -almost making me get hurt by standing inches in front of me. After some discussion, I asked the staff to cancel mine and my GFs memberships (within 3 days of signing up and my first visit to workout). They cancelled mine but after 8 months they still didn't cancel my GFs that was on my credit card. She never once even set foot in there. I asked for a refund and they refused and said they'd cancel her membership now so I wasn't billed any further and they'd ask the regional mgr about the past billings. Neither happened. They billed me AGAIN, never got back to me, never asked the regional. I had been promised MANY times that they'd call me back, yet, they never did. Finally, after calling again the mgr said the regional just said "no". I asked if I could talk to the regional and they said no. I asked if the regional would call me and they never actually said yes -but he never did. I have been in countless gyms since I was a teen (now in my 40's), I was a trainer for several gyms and managed two and I have never seen such HORRIBLE customer service. These people are lairs and thieves. DO NOT JOIN HERE!!!! There are plenty of other good gyms in the area to choose from -pick any other one besides these clowns. read more

Youfit Health Clubs - I feel Cheated with Gym closing! I joined youfit with a training promotion. they took $40, $19 and $200 from my account 4 months and then Shut down on 11/20/14 with no notice. I had even gone the day before and had set up PT appts, No one voiced that this was going down. I made an attempt to go to the nearest branch only to discover i was not in the system, they said they will call me later after investigating. No calls. I went in the next monday and was told my PT was running late. 15 mins in the attendant stated she did not have his contact info to confirm him coming over. I updated her on the situation and she promised that her Manager would call. No calls yet. The nearest gym is several miles away and very inconvenient thus, I am not going to transfer my membership. I am owed unused training sessions . I will be taking legal action if my money get taken from my account again. read more
