I retained this firm in June of 2023. My case was in default by March 2024. After two failed attempted to get the packet approved from March to January or 2025, they let the default judgment packet sit idle for 18 months. In June of 2025 defendant's business closed at which time, I requested they request an expedited hearing to get the packet approved. The request was ignored. Instead, they filed continuances without telling me. I was physically sick when I realized the packet they finally submitted after 18 months is substantively identical to the previous packet. Throughout this process, I repeatedly reached out for updates. I often have had to reach out multiple times to get a response and many of the responses I received were confusing, incomplete, or contradicted earlier explanations and the court records. I often felt like I wasn't being given the full picture of what was happening with my case. When I asked for basic case information--billing records, a timeline, an explanation of delays--I was told by Tara Hattendorf my requests were "not reasonable or practicable." When I asked about malpractice insurance, Tara told me I was creating a conflict of interest. I'm sharing my experience because I don't want anyone else to go through the stress, confusion, and emotional toll that I am. I filed a complaint with the State Bar so they can review what happened. I trusted this firm, and I regret that trust. I hope my experience helps someone else make an informed decision.

When settlement negotiations failed, I clearly stated that I wanted to proceed with litigation and signed the necessary litigation documents. Just as the case was about to move into litigation, the opposing side who had previously refused to settle suddenly made a counter move. I still do not know how they learned that I had signed the litigation agreement and was preparing to move forward with the case. Shortly afterward, the opposing side made an extremely low settlement offer to avoid litigation, and Michael pressured me to accept it. How the opposing side knew :)) that I was no longer willing to settle and was preparing to litigate remains a serious question for me. During this process, Michael's strategy shifted away from strongly protecting his client's interests and instead appeared to favor the opposing side's position. Even though I clearly and repeatedly stated that I wanted to proceed with litigation, he chose to withdraw from representing me rather than move my case forward. That was the most striking part for me: while the opposing side was making an offer to avoid litigation, my own attorney chose to withdraw instead of proceeding with the case. I find his professional ethics and conduct extremely inadequate. He failed to properly protect his client's interests and did not advocate strongly for my case. I would not recommend either Michael Robert Green or Miracle Mile Law Group to anyone.
