I contacted Justice for Workers and spoke with an intake representative named Yeslyn. The interaction was unprofessional and frustrating from start to finish. She repeatedly interrupted me, rushed the conversation, and came across as dismissive while I was explaining my situation. At one point, I had to stop and say, "I'm not done, I still have more to share....do I do that with you?" because I was being cut off before I could fully explain my case. Her response was "Go ahead, what else" which reinforced the rushed and impatient tone of the call. There is NO transparently!!! What ever tragedy you are going through I pray you find a better law firm than this place that treats you with respect and empathy. I would highly NOT recommend this firm for any type of work what so ever. Not only are so called "fees" not up front they don't keep a record or give you documentation throughout your case. When and if a settlement is presented they mention nothing of it for you can make an educated, informed decision when or if a settlement is right for you. So when you get you're check and you're short $5K-$10K or more depending on you're case and nothing explaining why. Other than the selfish mentality I can do what I want..call the bar. Expect a very hostile lawyer with no empathy and very passive aggressive mentality blaming you because they don't give a clear picture that they would easily give you're money up to the bad guys. Also don't be blindsided by mediation with this firm. When the bad guys call and want to set up mediation you can plan on paying every dime of that according to this firm! They cut the bad guys a break and forget to tell you that as well. Absolutely feels like collusion when you're not the informed party yet money is being taken from you! I also claimed exempt on tax papers. Not only did mark yell at me and get mad because he thought exempt means I don't pay taxes. He didn't hold them to following that either. By far the most incompetent, sneaky, non caring , racist, money hungry law firm. I obtained this law firm when I was wrongfully terminated. After meeting Young Park I felt he could probably get this case settled in no time. I was wrong. I provided evidence of me being wrongfully terminated. I explained my situation and showed proof. Young Park agreed to take my case. That's where it all went downhill. Young Park is very lazy. If, your case doesn't make him a easy quick buck he will not fight for you. Anything involved with using his brain or just plain common sense he doesn't want to entertain. If your case is complex just forget about it. Throughout my experience with this law firm. Young Park spoke to me in a rude and mean demeanor. I often heard terms such as "THIS CASE ISNT GOING TO MAKE ME A LOT OF MONEY". " "THIS CASE ISNT GOING TO MAKE ME RICH, BUT WHATEVER ITS OKAY I CAN MAKE MONEY OFF OF MY OTHER CASES". During my deposition he excused himself and called me on my cell phone. He began to yell "YOUR FU$KING THIS UP". The next day he accused me of lying. When I showed him proof and caught his incompetent assistant Justin knight in a lie all Park responded with was "Ill handle it internally". No accountability from him whatsoever. No apology. Nothing. However, he did call the next day to tell me that my deposition went horrible and it was one of the most horrible depositions he's seen in his career. I feel your lawyer should really prep you on what a deposition is. I spent two hours with Justin (his assistant) listening to him "uuuuhhhhhhhh" after every other word and sentence. That's not preparing you for a deposition. The next day after my deposition Young Park called me and said I have 3 options. Fire him, continue to fight or be happy with just getting my job back. Not much of any choice. I figured he was done with me as the option to fire him continuously came up. During this phone call I tried to speak and Young Park took that time to yell at asking "can I talk, can I talk". I informed him that he's talked the whole case. I haven't said a word or had a chance to voice my opinion. Which was true. He cuts you off and over talks you. Never once did he listen to me or take the time to just be quiet. When a lawyer cannot take the time to listen, that's a bad sign. Young Park then tried to blackmail me. Saying I would owe him $37,000 if I put a Yelp review up. This is after saying I didn't owe him anything. He said he was out only 8 grand and then switched to threatening me with a $37,000 lien. I explained to him that was blackmail and that was illegal. After several emails with his incompetent partner Tara he finally agreed not to file the lien. How do you go from me not owing you anything to saying I will owe you $37,000. Scum bag behavior at its finest. He made friends with the lawyer that works for my company. Laughing and having a good time during my deposition. I knew I was doomed. Again, if you have a quick case that doesn't require any usage of brain cells this is the lawyer for you. Young Park is all about the quick buck. His assistant is a poor executor. Lying and not taking accountability for lying. At the end of one of the phone calls he told me "Nobody's going to take your case", "No lawyer is going to take your case". Then proceeds to blackmail me saying if I post a Yelp review I will owe him $37,000. Mind you he told me through text I don't owe him anything. Young Park is a selfless prick. Called first thing this morning about my case. They picked up almost immediately whereas most of the other firms I have called have had me leave voicemails.
