After paying the $415, I began having pain soon after. When I called mid-week about the pain, they admitted they hadn't even finished the root canal. I was never informed, and despite this huge oversight, they only refunded me a partial amount of $346 claiming some of it was an exam fee (which they never disclosed before). When I expressed my dissatisfaction the woman named Mendy replied "we look forward to the complaint." I would never recommend this place to anyone unprofessional, misleading, and a complete waste of time.

The entire bill was my co-pay only, no more toothache. Saw him again two weeks later for a check up and cleaning and that visit was just as smooth and painless! FABULOUS dentist!

From answering all of my questions when scheduling and frequent helpful text reminders, to the super fun waiting room and incredibly patient and kid-friendly staff - our first visit was epic. Their priority is making sure first timers have a good experience - so when one of my kiddos didn't want to lie back in the chair, they said no problem, stand! When they got nervous about something, all questions were answered and then they did a fun, rapport-building distraction before getting back to business. It was masterful. I always had good experiences at the dentist growing up (maybe because I never had a cavity until 40) but I have some friends with trauma from their childhood dentist experiences. Here they making everything calm but playful for both regular appointments but also this recent experience with a filling. They Explained all of it so nothing is a surprise, but they use kid friendly terms. They teach you about that before hand so you can use them too! They used laughing gas and a movie to help the little ones stay still and calm. They also took time to talk directly to my son about his habits and help him be informed instead of just me. He took it really seriously and on his own stopped eating an Apple right before bed (after brushing teeth) and changed his routine based on what he planned with Dr. Jason and he's just 4.5! I saw a review about billing being poor but I have always had great experiences with them!

At the end of my cleanings…read moreand before my fillings were started, this office handed me a printed financial estimate in December explicitly showing exactly what I would owe out-of-pocket. As the photo of that document shows, my deductible was fully applied to my cleanings, my remaining balance for the gum care was a flat $100.00, and my upcoming fillings were listed as a $0.00 patient responsibility. I paid my deductible upfront and paid the remaining $100.00 balance exactly as the document required. Months later, after my insurance had already processed the claims and paid them, they completely changed their story. They sent me a surprise bill demanding nearly $680.00, completely refusing to honor the pricing agreement their own staff printed and handed to me in December, claiming these prices were a courtesy estimate. They are trying to hold me responsible for this new, unexpected balance for both the cleanings and the fillings. Since I formally disputed these unfair charges in writing using their own December printout, the office locked me out of the billing portal so I couldn't access those records. Because they refuse to honor their written pricing, I have filed formal complaints with the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners, the NC Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and my insurance company.
