First white nurse dilated my eyes, but was not able to work machine so a second very rude confrontational Nurse was called in and dilated my eyes again running liquid down the side of my face. Neither Nurse commented on a cataract in one eye. 2nd Nurse stated I definitely needed glasses. None was offered even though they were covered by the V.A. Nor was I given a prescription. Dr. offered no treatment told me I needed to see a Nuro optometrist but did not give me a Referral to see one and no follow up appointment then requested a blood test. The receptionist didn't know where the Lab was, looked at a map up side down and sent me to the wrong side of the 2 sq. block complex of several buildings. Couldn't hardly see which made things worse. After dilating my eyes twice they sent me out into the bright May sun without any eye protection. Within 20 feet I was blinded in the super bright white, white out conditions With help I got to my pickup a hundred feet away where I had dark sun glasses. Lost all color vision for 3 days, everything was gray green like night vision glasses, sun glasses necessary in sun now. Constant pain in eyes and flashing lights in both eyes now. Taking Pain pills. Almost had 3 rear end crashes in Fort Sill interstate construction traffic. Could have died or went blind. Zero stars except those flashing in my eyes. Still having problems 3 weeks later. My advise is: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

We came in for an eye exam covered under TRICARE. The exam itself was fine, but when we were already checked out and about to leave, we reminded her that we wanted to order contacts. At that point, we were suddenly hit with a $150 charge for a "contact lens fitting." No one disclosed upfront that this would be an out-of-pocket expense not covered by TRICARE. Instead, the charge was added at the very end, after services were already performed. That is not transparency -- that is a bait-and-switch tactic. We called for weeks leaving voicemails checking on our prescription and no call back. ONLY when calling back we spoke to a representative that told us the contacts were never ordered and we were charged that fee which was never explained to us at all. To make matters worse, the employee checking us out, Karen, was rude and dismissive. She acted like she didn't want to be there or do her job. When we asked for a copy of our prescription (which is our legal right), she avoided giving it to us until we asked multiple times. By law (FTC Contact Lens Rule), providers are required to release prescriptions after fittings without patients having to beg for them. The fact that she withheld it until we pressed is extremely concerning and unprofessional. After leaving, I found other reviews describing the exact same problem -- people being charged $100-$150 at checkout with no proper explanation, and walking out with nothing but the trial lenses in their eyes. This shows a clear pattern of misleading billing practices and withholding prescriptions, not just an isolated mistake. Patients deserve honesty, respect, and compliance with the law. What we got instead was rudeness, surprise billing, and the feeling of being taken advantage of. If you're military or TRICARE, be especially cautious here. They advertise being in-network, but you will still get hit with hidden charges that TRICARE doesn't cover. I will be reporting this clinic to TRICARE, the Oklahoma Board of Optometry, and the FTC for investigation.
