I had a battery replaced. It was nice. They actually came to my home and replaced the battery. Everything went good. The part I was disappointed in was the price after was not the same as what I was quoted. There was a $30 miscellaneous charge that was added to my price. I was told everyone is charged that. If that is true, then that needs to be part of the price and don't sneak it in after. I was very disappointed with that I feel it's very deceitful. Be be honest and upfront I wanted to add that since I posted this review I was able to talk to one of their service managers and he agreed that should've been disclosed upfront and they refunded my money. Overall the worst car buying experience I have ever had. If I knew better. I would have not spent my money here. The Customer Service will say they will call you back from their management but yet I haven't heard from them yet. I went in looking for the 0 percent down, 0 payment for 90 days and 0 percent APR and left with over double my interest rate when I refinanced in 2020. I understand I signed the documents but was like ok. So I understand I didn't have the best credit situation however, when I have to come back 3 times to their finance department with rate increases every time. The one time it went down it had the wrong vehicle on it. Not sure how that is legal. If legal definitely immoral. They claim they give the best military discount around when it's just a normal 500 dollar ford credit. So no they don't do you any favors For some reason they can give you 1000 dollars customer assistance on one piece of paper but when I go through my paperwork it's conveniently missing. If you want 17000 dollars in added optional things on top of a vehicle purchase then this is the deal for you. When I pay over 67000 dollars for a vehicle I expect car mats and a second key. Yet they will ensure you that they do not guarantee a second key. When you purchase your vehicle you can have a clean vehicle but when you get any accessories applied IE tint. They can give it to you ruined and needing to be redone. So wasting more time. If you want to spend 6 hours of your Saturday in a dealer then go here. It's as if no one gives a shit about you once they receive your money. So if you're looking for your salesman to talk about how his wife cheated on him and how he is getting a divorce then this is the place for you. read more

So I'm typing a review for my 77 year old veteran that the people working at Young Ford Of Brigham City Utah had taken full advantage of robbing my very vulnerable and very easily manipulated dad that when my dad had taken his 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring into Young Ford Of Brigham City Utah,they have charged my 77 year old dad to have some of the same issues 3-4 times telling us that they had fixed the issues with car which they've gotten my dad for well over $10 grand. My dad had just recently has given me the car which less then 24 hours of me having the car it still had the same issues with the car when we had to have the car towed because it still had the same problems before having it towed to young Ford of Ogden Utah which is how found out that their equipment only works on Ford vehicles instead of charging my dad more thousands of more dollars that he doesn't have. Terrible experience. Scheduled an appointment on Tuesday to diagnose a problem with automatic locks, but learned that it was user error. However, while there, they also did a multi-point inspection and recommended the brakes be replaced. When I asked for a quote, Mark McFarland told me $800 and that he could have it done by the following day. I didn't hear anything from them and tried calling at 2:45 PM the next day. I was told they were too busy to talk. When Mark called me back around 3:00 PM and told me that they ordered the wrong part so it wouldn't be done until 6:00 PM. I was not available that late, so I agreed to pick it up the next day (Thursday). No one bothered calling me on Thursday either to let me know it was ready, so I didn't pick it up. On Friday morning I called to check on the vehicle and they said it was ready to pick up. No one bothered to let me know. I had to contact them every time. When I showed up to pay my bill, I was told that it was actually going to be $1,822.60. The nice billing lady was confused by the charges as well and had me talk to Mark again. When I confronted Mark about his $800 quote, he claimed that he was only quoting me for the front brakes. He then pointed me to his hard-to-read chicken scratch handwriting to show that he had priced out both. There was no explanations or anything. I was frustrated about being lied to, but went ahead and paid it anyway to avoid confrontation. When I checked my bill later, I noticed that they charged an extra $100 for "Misc. Charges" but nowhere in the bill does it explain it. I have no idea what that is for. I will never again get mechanic work done at Young Ford. In fact, I will never buy a vehicle from them because I don't trust them. Total scam and rip off. Mark was very deceptive with me. read more

All the bad characteristics of a poorly managed, high pressure sales dealer. They focus everything on getting you in the door and pushing you to sign on the dotted line with no help or consideration for the buyer after the sale. I ended up paying interest on a truck I traded into them because it took them almost a full month to send my financial institution a check to pay off the truck when they promised they would send an overnight check. I called six times over those weeks asking why the check hadn't been sent, with promises to be called back and never was. Overall terrible experience. My experience with Young Ford was not a very good one. Robert reached out to me wanting to buy my vehicle. A day goes by and I message "Good afternoon, Robert. I just wanted to make sure that we are still on for tomorrow". No response until the morning of when I was supposed to meet him to sell him my vehicle. If the lack of communication wasn't bad enough. When I'm about half way up to Brigham City (mind you I'm about an hour and half away). Robert shoots me a message saying that he can no longer buy my vehicle because he didn't bother even looking at the ad that I had posted on KSL. So you're probably asking yourself why does this experience matter to me? Well if they are willing to miss such a simple detail on multiple occasions. What's them from making a mistake that could cost you more money. In short stay away from Young Ford in Brigham City and if you do end up going there work with someone other than Robert. Second time I've been to the dealership, poor poor management, they put on brakes the first time and we're supposed to clean out my truck when I picked my truck up it was not cleaned out. I spent two hours with the guy helping him clean it out as I was leaving town the next day. Thought I would give this dealership a second chance. Second time was even worse than the first. I had some things that needed to be done on my truck was transferred. Several times told them what I wanted thought we had everything straightened out the next morning I get a call from, the dealership asking what needed to be done on my truck. call to check on my truck about three hours later to see if it was done they had not even started anything on it and had detected that there was some kind of leak in the 4 x 4 system waited for quite some time for somebody to call me back and let me know what was going on finally had to talk to the manager. of the Ford dealership to get anything straight. I was left on hold so many times that I had to hang up and call back so that I could get somebody to speak to me. after changing my oil in my truck, they did not even reset the meter so I had to call them back again today to see if. Did actually change the oil. This place is less than desirable, and they need to send their employees to better training and customer service. So I went to Young Ford last Saturday to check out a car that they had that was in my Price range, and i went with my mother. My mom had told our salesman Bret that We weren't buying this car for over 9500. He said he understood and that he would do what he could. We probably waited for about an hour until he brought out some numbers that didn't make sense. At all. My mom kept on asking to see all the calculations herself, and all that he and Nanette would do is talk around her. She dropped me off at work after all of this, called them back, got the numbers, and they were trying to get me to buy this damn Kia Soul (that was priced at 8600) for 14000. To add on top of that, the following Monday we tried again so they could correct their mistake, and they tried to sell the car for 10500 the second time. Which we couldn't afford, which we told them literally the first day. We said have a nice day. Not even 15 minutes later, a guy who was the salesmans supervisor, I think his name was Chet, called my personal number, was extremely unprofessional in this call, talking over me when I was trying to explain what was going on, and just would not. Took in a new car to have airbag recall work done. Car was returned with damaged suspension. -It looks like it was driven into a cement parking barrier. Had to pay for the repair since I couldn't prove it wasn't that way when I dropped it off. After repair, car no longer drives straight down the road and steering wheel is not centered. People are nice but the maintenance shop isn't worth the risk. Update: Another Warning about the quality of the mechanics working there. -I was just under the car to change the oil and noticed they used a loose plastic strap in place of the factory metal compression clamp to seal the steering output shaft. They were amazing when it was McFarland, but they replaced all of the service leads with new guys and it's just not the same. I bought a used car from Young with their 3month/3k mile power train warranty and in less than that the clutch started acting up. They denied my claim and made me pay for it (to the tune of $1500). I just found out yesterday that there was actually a Ford extended warranty on the clutch, and Ford is going to reimburse me, a year and a half later. I asked the guys at the time if my car was covered under that warranty and they told me no. I now go to another dealership and they confirmed it should have been covered. read more

My RV came due for routine service while I was headed toward Salt Lake City. Not all dealers have the garage facilities to work on a motor home, so I called Ford's 24/7 owner assistance 800 number. They referred me to McFarland in Brigham City. I called the day before I planned to arrive and made a 9am appointment. McFarland's staff could not have been friendlier or more efficient. They recommended Bert's Cafe just down the street for breakfast, and the coach was ready to go when we returned 90 minutes later. Oh, and the cost was half what I would have paid for the same service in California. McFarland is too far away for me to drive for routine service, but I'm pleased to recommend them. read more

Was traveling through the state on my way to Yellowstone National Park. My truck was in need of a oil change so why not stop in and have them change the oil. We do this drive every few years and will NEVER go back. I was quote a price of $100.00 for the oil change when I received the bill it was for $115.00 no big deal only $15.00 over. When we finally made it to Yellowstone I checked the oil level and it was almost 1 1/2 quarts above the high oil mark. Now I'm draining off 1 1/2 quarts of oil in the rain...not fun. To make matters worst the bottom of my oil pan was a mess they never bother to clean up their mess.
