Fantastic service! We spend the weekend in Warne, North Carolina, and needed a quick breakfast. The menu has your typical brunch foods... omelettes, burgers.. they had a buffet too but it was not very popular. The price is very affordable. I finally found an affordable, delicious spot in Hayesville! I can't believe there aren't more reviews because it was pretty packed. It's been in the same location for two years. I'd been disappointed by the long wait and overcooked pancakes at Mary's Southern Grill, Hayesville Grille was a breath of fresh air! ATMOSPHERE Plenty of free parking, tables and booths inside. It's definitely casual (think a small Cracker Barrel for you Georgians). There are two dining rooms so even though one was crowded, the other had plenty of seating. PRICES Extremely affordable, especially for cooked to order food! My sausage, egg and cheese biscuit was less than $5 but I'd suggest spending a little more and getting a cheese omelet with home fries or grits ($8) or a pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon ($7.50). Lunch prices are around $10 but remember, they close at 2:30! FOOD When I saw them slicing potatoes for the home fries and baking biscuits, I knew I was in the right place! My biscuit looked as good as it tasted, flaky and tasty and topped with melted cheese. The true definition of homecooked food! SERVICE Waitstaff was friendly. Even though they were busy, they were full of smiles and helpful suggestions. IN SUM Hayesville Grille will be a regular staple when I'm in town. I highly recommend and will return. Enjoy! read more

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't all that we expected. The Philly cheesesteak had no onions or peppers on it. The green beans didn't have a lot of flavor. So, don't get me wrong. This is not a five star dining experience. It's a diner, with comfort/soul/southern food on plastic cafeteria plates. It's a Waffle House level experience. Why all the five stars? Cause they do it right. Fast. Inexpensive. Hot tasty food with good service. This spot is a solid 4 stars for country cooking - good southern sweet atmosphere, great food, and good prices. We ordered the country fried steak (5 stars) and the meatloaf (3-4 stars). The fried zucchini was excellent. The kid's meal burger was hand pattied and massive! The server was friendly and attentive and the breakfast plates looked awesome too, although I haven't tried them. We found this grill by chance and we are so happy we did! We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. It was busy but we got a table right away. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered two eggs with corned beef hash and hash browns with cheese and onions. The hash browns were crispy, and the eggs and hash were tasty. My husband ordered two eggs and gravy with sausage. He said his food was tasty as well. The prices are good and so is the food. Oh, and they apparently have all you can eat fried catfish on Friday nights. We will have to try that next time.
