Crossing state lines for Antiquing at Marketplace and Wings & Beer at Chevelle's 66 is a well spent Sunday! We love the wings at Chevelle's 66 but they have gotten pricey at $19 for 10, but today was our lucky day to get 20 at a $1 a piece! The Sunday brunch menu looks good. May have to cross state lines again in the near future to partake!

    Yep, that good.

A great little bar joint with great food in the middle of downtown Murphy, NC. Well worth the visit. People are nice, attentive and the food tasty and fresh. Can't ask for anything more. Just fyi, they do not serve wings until 1600. Love wings... remember to support your local grubbery so we both don't starve.

We sat at the bar but aren't locals and didn't seem to get the same service as the gentlemen along the side of us. The food came quickly and it didn't disappoint! We shared the Fish Tacos and the Bison burger

We had the nachos and my friend ordered the chicken flatbread. Both were good! It was nice for a quick, casual lunch.

Great food awsome live bands and Lisa the bartender is awsome. Not to mention all the activities they have during the week.

Just OK. But they were open when the majority of the restaurants were closed. And that is a big plus

Chevelle's has great food! The food by far exceeds typical bar food. It's both eye appealing and delicious!

We were seated quickly with no wait, and the staff was all very friendly and the service was prompt. My son was happy to see mac and cheese on the kid's menu. It looked like standard Kraft mac and cheese, served with fries, so he liked it. I got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and both were very good. Overall, we were happy to have found Chester Brunnenmeyer's and had a good experience, good food and a nice cold beer.

My child wouldn't touch their food so I tried a bite - immediately had to rinse my mouth out. Something is off with the oil or ingredients they're using. They did take it off the bill but we sat there forever waiting for someone to even come check on us. My sticky ribs were sauce wise but really fatty and cheap quality. The biggest issue arose when I went to pay my $19.04 bill, the "20% tip" on the machine came out to $5.61. I pointed it out to the server right there and he acted confused and played dumb, which was frustrating. The custom tip button wasn't even working so I couldn't fix it myself, and with my kid losing it I just had to pay and go. It wasn't until I did the math in the car that I realized just how off it really was -- that's almost 29.5%, not 20%. This left me with a really yucky feeling. Just double check the math on that tip screen before you pay. I have a feeling this has caught a lot of people without them realizing it. Needless to say, I won't be returning here.

Another 15 minutes, waved the server, asked how much longer? Told us that one of the chefs did not come to work today, and there running behind. Been there almost one hour, no food and the oriental lady, the maître D was on her phone laying down on the stairs could care less. Got up and left total time over one hour no food. When we entered the restaurant, they should've told us that they were running way behind. We would've went someplace else. Very bad customer service. Never again!

It came from an episode of the All In The Family tv show. Archie told a story about being so poor, at one point as a kid he had just one shoe and one boot. Shoe. Boot. The kid's nicknamed him ShoeBootie. Well alright. Loved the decor and atmosphere. We sat in a downstairs booth in the main first aisle. Cozy and great for people watching. When the a/c kicked on it got a tad chilly but I didn't mind. I started out with a bowl of the Lobster Bisque. Absolutely delicious. Nice chunks of sweet lobster meat. Semi-creamy with a hint of heat spice. The three of us shared a Baked Crab, Artichoke & Spinach Dip. It was very good. Not a lot of crab taste I thought. I loved the spinach tortilla chips. Thin, lightly fried, they broke nicely. I opted for the Prime Rib Philly. Dipped into a cup of Au Jus, just right. One friend got the Cranberry Turkey Melt. She enjoyed it. Her daughter got the Fish & Chips. The fish, cod, was bland and tasteless, even with the fried tempura batter. I tried a bite, agreed it lacked flavor. Overall a nice midday lunch experience.
