Don't use them!!! My son rented a house through Young Realty. What a terrible experience. When he moved in the house was gross! I had to scrub the walls in his bedroom to remove a brown liquid that had dripped down the wall and had hardened. The kitchen was sticky...I was glad that I was not living there. Vines were growing into the A/C unit. The landscaping was overgrown. Garbage and broken furniture had been left in the back yard, in the basement, and in the living room. When removal and service were requested, the requests were ignored. My son cleaned up the yard a little until he got Poison Ivy! After my son moved out, Young Realty charged exorbitant fines for garbage removal and $650 for a deep cleaning! Thats ridiculous!! My son left repeated messages at the realty office, most of which went unanswered. I wish that I could give them a negative rating!! read more

They manage the property I'm renting and it's been a nightmare since I signed the lease August 2024. I couldn't move in until after 2 weeks because I didn't have running water and the AC unit didn't work. On top of that I went without hot water until November 2024 and was told that I still had to pay rent and that the astronomical utility bills that were caused by the underground leak and broken water heater was my responsibility. Although they ended up crediting me for a couple months of rent, I shelled out almost $4k in utility bills for barely 2 months of service. Despite the multiple conversations that I've had with the electric company and them telling me the home is surging electricity and me complaining about my power going out multiple times a week since August 2024, they won't inspect the wiring. So I'm stuck dealing with an electric bill consistently over $1k a month for a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom townhouse that's barely 1,100 square feet. No accommodations were offered to me and my children. We had to shower in cold water while it was cold outside. Made to boil water to wash dishes. I decided to rent this house partly because of fenced in yard, which they decided not to repair the fence when a tree limb fell on part of the fence, but instead tear it down leaving the deck and the outside storage closet exposed to whomever wants to go behind the property and onto the deck. I'm a single mother with a daughter and son. It's been a complete mess and I can't wait until my lease ends! There's so much more but I'm tired of this company. read more

An absolute nightmare. I reached out to view a property and was assigned a realtor who never contacted me. After I reached out to him several times he told me he was currently unavailable but would contact me when HE was ready. I never heard from him again. Young Realty still sends periodic auto messages asking me how it's going, even though I've explained the situation and asked them not to contact me. Clearly no one reads the messages. Not once have I dealt with an actual human. ZERO attempt to fix their terrible service. Do not use them if you actually want to find a home. read more

I had the worse experience using ADAM at ERA young real estate agent. i would never use the ERA Young Real Service again. Adam was not a pleasant person to deal with he do not trust Adam because he will do things behind your back that should not be done. John the actual owner of the property was for the most part very respectful and helpful. However no one ever did a walk thru before me moving in and they just gave me a sheet to fill out all the things that weren't up to par which I did along with making a copy for my records and taking about 15-20 pictures I've since moved out about a month ago, I was sent only 345 dollars of my security deposit and this is their itemized list why I didn't recieve the rest... I was never late on my rent usually about a week to 2 weeks early, I hardly ever had guests and when I did no more than 2 at a time. However they haven't painted or replaced the flooring in over 3 years, which john told me he was going to paint i suggested the flooring as well as it is a brown matted carpet throught out not to mention the disgusting tile (glue down vinyl from the early 90s). Also the property manager brian eachus put my life in jeopardy repeatedly by breaking the law and bring multiple people each time to come see the place while new jersey was in covid lockdown, because of his neglengance i contracted covid, luckily for me it was very mild and I wasn't feeling ill after about 4 days. WARNING DO NOT RENT FROM BRIAN HE IS AN ABSOLUTE SLUM LORD. I paid 825 for security by the form of a money order. Upon moving out I left a forwarding address and he decides to send me 345 on an app I don't have. So essentially I'm beat for all 825 after spending 3 days cleaning this cramped apartment to make it better than when I moved in. I will be suing era if I'm not made whole in the next 9 days, not only for the court fees but for lost time at work and the legal fees. I will updated this if they decide to do the right thing until then do NOT rent from era they are overpriced scam artist particularly brian eachus. I originally gave 2 starts but now John svhroefer claims I threatened him because I made him aware that I'd be suing for my deposit in full plus a lost days wage 720ish and the 88 dollar filling fee. I got that feeling right away when I met Bob that I was in the best of hands! Bob is a long time resident of Glassboro. He knows every "patch of grass" in the town. He's on top of everything that goes on here. Completely professional, patient, understanding and most important... EXPERIENCED in all aspects of real estate! The entire process from searching for that perfect home to closing couldn't have gone better! Never once did I feel nervous or insecure. He took us to as many homes as we could look at. He really understood what we are looking for and found on his own the best home even though I had searched extensively on the Internet. Our closing at the ERA Realty facility went smooth as glass! What a relief from the usual! Bob even knows people in the area if you're looking for handyman, someone to run a survey, etc. I could not recommend this agency or Bob high enough if you're looking to buy a home or rent a home for a student in college at Rowan University. I rented from them from fall 2019 till July of 2020 and they are a very unprofessional group. Anytime an appointment for a potential renter would be made it was too soon with very little notice (I'm talking maybe a day in advance). These appointments were often done later than when the appointment was actually set for. I have also had issues with a showing agent trying to get into my locked bedroom despite it not being the room that was to be shown. For these reasons, I would heavily recommend against using Era Young. read more

He will ask you to pay 50 or more dollars for the application fee and credit check and then give the house to someone else, but keep your money. Do not use him.
