Amazing, amazing, amazing! I had checked out reviews of this massage studio and based on the great…read moreYelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. First, a little background about me. I am a weightlifter, Rock Climber, yoga practitioner, and motorcyclist. I have a history of herniated disks in my neck and my lower back. Because I am so active and have these existing conditions, I need a massage therapist who can work with these issues and also do a lot of deep tissue massage to decrease tension from all my hard work outs. For my first visit to this massage studio, I had an active headache which had been with me for nine days. I have some kind of a pinch going on in the nerves of my neck which was making me cranky and causing low grade consistent pain. The first benefit is that this massage studio works with the chiropractor I am seeing at Advanced Pain and Spine center right next door. They collaborate on a holistic treatment. I had no idea that that I had independently booked appointments with medical professionals that were right next to each other! How convenient! Not only is Shae delightful, she executed an amazingly therapeutic massage. For the first time in nine days I don't have a miserable headache which was making me grumpy! She is easily able to find all the tension that pulls on my spine and nerves and released them. I am an athlete and I need deep tissue that is very therapeutic and I have pre-existing spine conditions. If you want an expert who can keep you fit and active and feeling great, you absolutely must come to this massage studio! I am going to see Shae regularly as part of not only my healing process from neuropathy due to herniated disc's in my neck, but also to keep my body limber and very high functioning well I continue to be extremely active and fit.

Excellent massage! I slept during most if it lol. I have never been so relaxed. Highly recommend…read moreand will be back often!

I stopped by here on a weekday afternoon after my friend told me about this spot. I had been to a…read morehead spa before however this one was better priced at $100 for the scalp massage and head spa, facial and shoulder and back massage. They do ask for a $20 deposit prior to the appointment but it goes towards the service. First thing they do is a scan of your scalp to see if there are any concerns. Since it was empty when I came, I got the private room which had three beds set up. Started off with the massage and then followed up with the facial which was super relaxing and products used on my face were not harsh and suited my skin well. The sheet mask at the end felt very nice and soothing. The scalp massage was felt very nice and didn't feel too harsh on my head. She made sure to get all parts of my scalp by tilting my head and the products used had a really light scent. She followed up with a face mask and made sure to blow dry my hair in the end. The one hour felt super soothing, and I'm sure I fell asleep at some point during it. I plan on coming back soon for another treatment!

The owner will call you to request a deposit be placed for your appointment via Venmo or another…read moreapp. You then have your scalp looked at and go to a cheaply-made dry-walled partition. I say partition because in no way was this an actual structured room. You then will remove your shirt (and bra, ladies) and put on a robe, then tuck into the blankets that I hope are washed between each client. The decor will make you feel as if this is a cheap hostel somewhere in Southeast Asia so there is a coin toss if the linens are truly washed. After an eye mask is placed you then begin a slapped on oil-based shoulder rub down from a very non-caring pair of hands. It is apparent that the hands are rushed and are not a professional massage therapist's hands. Speaking of those hands, they have very scratchy nails that snag you during the massage. You then get a hot blast of steam to the chest area and your facial begins. No water, just something that may resemble cleaner, I guess. Nothing was explained. After a tiny rinse an exfoliant is scrubbed on with this nails and the sound of clicking stones is quickly swept over your face, haphazardly. A few times you hear the cosmetic tools clanked into a bucket as if the hands are still in a hurry. Then a pre-packaged mask is placed on you while you're freezing because the Mount Vesuvius steam is taken away. Now begins a dry and scratchy oil-based massage, or as I like to call it a "I don't care about this client and want to mush my nails around their head". The scalp will be aggravated and scratched with the nails or some sort of tool, twice. Meanwhile I wish someone would have asked how aggressive I like to treat my scalp. PS, I don't at all. Maybe pads of the fingers, but never scratched! If you have medium or long hair the ends of hair will not be washed at all, bet on rewashing your hair at home. Then, and only then will the halo shower come out, for like 45 seconds. After that the mask is removed and a blow dryer your grandmother used in 1972 will be used to dry your irritated and very over cleansed crown, leaving the unwashed ends left alone again. You then get dressed and are rushed out to sit and eat a cookie and drink a small bottle of water, and pressured into a Google review. After a total on the menu of $99 for an hour I ended up paying a total of $101.48 for about 45 minutes of actually treatment. Is this really a taxable service? Anyway, this is not the place if you are looking for an actual certified massage therapist or professional spa care.

Stop what you're doing, and head here as soon as it opens. Omg, I had the best foot massage I've…read moreever had last night. I'm not sure if his name is Henry or harry, and I had difficulty understanding him due to the language barrier, but oh my goodness all of that didn't matter because he worked wonders on my poor feet. Let me preface that I've been here before, and have had many encounters at other establishment, but none lived up to this experience. I came with a friend after a long 12 hour shift, and had noticed that am that my left foot was very sore and the ball of my feet were tender. I was massaging my feet driving because it was so uncomfortable. So when I got off I debated between being good and working out or getting this massage to make me feel better, and boy am I glad I chose the later. For $30 you get an hour foot massage and this includes a 10-15 min head and neck massage, also heavenly. I told my masseuse the problem spot and he put a lot of pressure on it which made me wince but it also felt so good. My friend and I walked out like we were on cloud 9. This establishment is clean, has great masseuse, and for the price and location, it's hard to beat. My only con is that due to the language barrier, communicating can be hard, and sometimes the masseuse likes to talk to each other during the massage and makes it harder for the client to relax. But overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to be back.

Extremely Unprofessional and Painful Experience…read more This was honestly one of the worst massage experiences I have ever had. I left feeling like I had been hurt rather than helped, and my body actually hurts more today than it did before the massage yesterday. I specifically told the therapist that I am a cancer survivor with lymphedema and that I was experiencing significant pain in my neck and shoulder. A professional massage therapist should take a medical history seriously and understand how certain conditions can affect the type of massage and pressure that is appropriate. Instead, there was no oil used during the massage, and his hands were extremely rough. He was pinching and plucking at my back, and I was saying "ouch" throughout the entire massage. About halfway through, he leaned down and whispered that there was a "special oil" available for an additional $20. I later learned that what I was given was supposedly CBD oil, and it smelled strongly like Biofreeze. The experience became even more concerning. He put extremely hot towels on my back, hot enough that I felt like I was being scalded. He felt my feet and said I was cold, rather than handling that professionally, he plugged in a blow dryer and began blowing hot air all over my body. He also used significant pressure points on my skull, and my head now feels bruised and sore. I honestly question whether this person had any professional massage training whatsoever. The entire experience felt extremely unprofessional and, frankly, unsafe. Someone with a medical condition could potentially be seriously injured by this kind of treatment. A professional massage therapist should ask about medical history, listen when a client says something hurts, adjust their technique appropriately, and never continue using painful or potentially harmful pressure. I will never return to this establishment, and I strongly recommend that others be very cautious before booking a massage here. If you have any medical conditions, I would be especially careful and make sure you understand exactly who will be performing your massage and what their qualifications are. This was not a relaxing or therapeutic experience. It was painful, uncomfortable, and completely unprofessional. I contemplated leaving mid-way, I regret now I didn't.
