I will start off by saying that Drew is a gentlemen with a complete understanding of what needed to be done. No fast talking tactics to get me spending more than I had to while staying focused on the overall objective. Drew took the time to explain the process of what had to be done and the expected time frame which was right on the mark. Completion time was 2 1/2 weeks. Now the work that was done. Front bumper covers(2 piece), front engine hood, rear tailgate, rear bumper covers(2 piece) and last but not least left and right side rockers. Most of the work was just paint and minor repair work but when it came to rebuilding the rusted out rocker bottoms, that is where the craftsmanship came out. Just above the running boards I had my rocker panels/sections completely rusted through. Only a complete cut out and removal was the solution. This repair in my opinion was way better than what the factory had originally created. The use of new metal, perfect welding, rust proofing and installation of a rock chip membrane was a repair that will outlast the remaining life of the vehicle. As an added bonus Drew painted the rusted metal rear bumper that is hidden under the rear bumper cover to prevent further corrosion and the rear lift glass hinges. A nice gesture for no extra charge. Total appreciated that! Additional remarks, front and rear bumper covers were completely removed from vehicle to prep and paint the correct way and ensure a perfect paint job with exceptional results and eliminate any possible over spray onto vehicle. To top it all off I provide refurbished rims, lug nuts and new tires to finish the vehicle. Vehicle has a new lease on life and looks amazing!

I was told my car would be ready for pickup on August 6, 2021. As of today, December 6, 2021, I still do not have my car back. Once my insurance company paid out the check for repairs to the shop owner, Jason ignored my messages and phone calls. He refuses to give me courtesy updates. He claimed that the car would be ready in August; however, my tailgate was not ordered until September. I, myself, had to call Mazda to expedite the shipping when that should have been Jason's job. The piece was delivered to Jason the first week of October. He told me once the tailgate arrives, he will need an additional week to finish all repairs. He reached out two weeks after and said he would drop my car off at my house. I went to the shop on October 26th to pick up my car myself. When I arrived, I knocked and called him and received no response. I was able to see my car from the window and saw that no repairs had been made to my vehicle. It is in the same condition as July when I dropped it off. In addition, he has been auto-stripping other pieces of my car that did not need any fixing whatsoever. I believe that he is replacing my parts with used car pieces. I do not trust him and am very upset that he refuses to let me know when my car will be completed. I have involved the police multiple times to come to the shop. They are aware of him and said that I am not the first client to have an issue with him. Nearby neighbors disclosed to me that Jason refuses to open the doors and has other customers' cars inside the shop with unfinished repairs. If I could leave a review with negative stars I would. This has been a horrible experience. Please save yourself this headache and go somewhere else.

They proceeded to do some really crappy prep work and finished the job with an assortment of paint runs, orange peel and over-spray. They mugged me for $900. I wanted to have the whole car repainted and I found Americar Auto Painting in a google search. I had called numerous other shops and was getting estimates from $3,000-$6,000 which was will beyond my reach. What I liked about Americar is that their website lists the price of 4 different types of paint jobs from single stage acrylic to base coat/clear at some really affordable prices. I brought may car to their shop and met the manager, Matty. Matty is a class act. I wanted to get the more expensive BC/CC but he recommended the single stage urethane which was $200 cheaper because my car is black and single stage urethane is the way to go on darker colors. I had chipping paint on the trunk and hood and small rusting spots on the roof and these guys stripped the paint to the metal, primed, prepped and painted it for me, all for $1,600!!! Matty even sent me pics of the prep work that they had done. It's a great feeling when your highest expectation is met. Americar gave me a quality paint job at an affordable price.

He said even if they offered those options, they would not be appropriate for our car. He estimated $2000. to paint the car.We were truly disappointed in the false advertising and the fact that we spent so much vacation time checking this shop out.We went to make an appointment to have the car painted and we left disheartened.Shame on you Americar!
