Can I give this place six stars?! Where to begin... for starters, it's a dream - the place looks like a movie set hand crafted by Martha Stewart herself. It's cheerful, and romantic and there are little things to discover in every corner. They have an amazing selection of pre made items like soups, dips and pastries which will all be amongst the best you've ever had. It's also a family business run by locals which is great. If you want to support the community, and the north shore is important to you, do yourself a favor and stop by. read more

Excellent produce, incredible baked goods great selection of stuff you never even knew you wanted or needed but it's there. Prices are as to be expected with the neighborhood but you do get what you pay for. read more

Been coming here for 20 years bought a peach pie it was a disgrace I left a review elsewhere owners offered a refund and for me to return I live in Queens I have no reason to go out there and I'm not going to spend another $45 on gas to drive and to be disappointed once again their intentions unmeritable but we shouldn't sell a product if they don't stand behind it read more

The BEST fresh soups. Check their website to see which soups will be served fresh each day. This week I got the Butternut squash soup and the Pumpkin soup. I will be back next week to try others. Fresh based pies, even frozen for a discount. Blueberry biscuit was moist, d St oft, and tasty. Peach raspberry pie was just the right balance of sweet and tart. We'll be back. The workers are unfriendly and no one greeted us when we came in. My mom says that once they lied to her about not having any strawberry jam until this one guy brought her in and they actually did have it. It feels horrible to go out of your way to visit somewhere and be treated like this. They have cute stuff but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. read more

I feel like a found a corner of heaven. I just found this place only a few months ago and have already tried 5 of their pies (don't judge me) the pies are divinity!!!! Actually ALL the baked goods are out of this world. It is so cute inside, adorable farm decor, and they do have delicious seasonal fruit and veggies. They even have dairy products which I intend to try. I've tried a few soups and their shepards pie. Amazing quality food. It is very small inside so they do make you wait on a line outside due to covid, which I'm totally fine with. The employees are sweet as pie (no pun intended) I'm so glad I found Youngs Farm. What was I thinking giving Youngs Farm 4 stars. All these "Country Bakeries" around.. when this bakery IS actually a country bakery. Brookville was once an area with farms and a few remain, including horse farms. This place is not as remote as it seems. Think LIE to 107 north.. when you cross over Northern Blvd.. its the first block on the right. 1/4 mile on the left and there it is .. among the houses is this small farm/ shop. In winter I walked in and they had just put out potato leek soups. I mean come on what is better than that.. just that.. !!! It was as good as it sounds. Leeks are awesome. Then I saw their famous country pies... looking good as always. They don't seem to tire out as some cute quaint places do. I think it's because they seem to have some loyal staff. I see some people that seem to stay. An owner unbeknownst to me.. was there when I was carrying on about them making a good black cherry pie, then it was obvious one of the women doing some setting up in the store was smiling. I asked if she was the creator... and she smiled and said yes.. yes I fawned over this cool ladies bakery style and she shared some info.. she said they have used the original fanny farmer cookbook recipe from way back for their pie crusts. How sweet! I stiill happen to be a butter crust fan but no one really seems to make butter crusts but me! or people at home. lol While I was there some shopper scooped up a half price pie from yesterday. That I hadn't noticed. But it wouldn't really change what I was there for.... Gimme that large black cherry pie pleaaase! lol (no I don't say gimmee) lol read more

OMG. I LOVE this farm! I'm sure some people reading this think animals but they don't have animals, this is a farm in the quiet of Long Island past the stables that provides organic food and beautiful items for purchase. Youngs has everything from pie to soup. They have seasonal vegetables and fruit that taste heavenly. I could easily spend an hour looking around even though I've been heading their weekly. The trip out there is worth it and scenic. They have ample parking, they have been following COVID procedures perfectly. On one end you can enter into the store and on the other you can "order" your items to go so they have people covered for whatever their preference is. Everyone in Youngs is SUPER nice and helpful. Instead of supporting the big box supermarkets head to Youngs for your produce and such. read more

Youngs Farm is one of the few farm stands remaining in Nassau County. It has a small produce section with whatever is in season as well as a selection of prepared foods. The bakery sells breads and pies. I've only had one standout item which is their Tart Cherry pie which I recommend to any fans of that style of pie. Their curbside pickup is great - you literally drive into a parking space and your order is given to you without leaving the car. The lines can be long on weekends, holidays and in the Fall so be prepared. read more

I love this hidden gem!! I drive from Queens to come to this quaint little farm stand market. They have the most delicious soups, baked goods and breads. I love their sourdough bread, always fresh. Their customer service and friendliness is outstanding. The young staff work hard and are very helpful in getting the order ready for you. So glad a friend told me about this farm. read more

Great local farm produce and bakery store. The veggies looked freshly picked. However our sweet tooth love is for the selection of fresh scones and quick breads. We've gotten the blueberry scones and carrot cake loaf bread so far. All just the right amount of sweetness and bite. I will come back for a pie as their pies look so fresh and homely. read more

Sweetie Pies ran out of Pecan Pies this year so I came straight to the source itself! It felt like a piece of the Hamptons in this Nassau County town. The interior of the farm/bakery was very rustic and chic (did I use it right?). The bakery section had a very busy line mid-day as it was the day before Thanksgiving but luckily they had the Pecan pies! We also got double chocolate chip cookies and pound cake which were really good. The cookies were like brownie like, highly recommend getting milk and just dunking it in. The staff here was very friendly, attentive and quick. The bathrooms are in the back of the farm area but it was so weird cause it smelled like a bakery inside which was refreshing lol. read more

Great pies, cookies and bread. The pastries are not overly sweet. The lemon shortbread was chewy and buttery. The chocolate graham had as much chocolate as cookie. The bread is so fresh and delicious. There are lots of soups and I hope to return to try the gazpacho. Also, I need to try their corn. Beautiful place. read more

Not a farm stand although they sell pie, baked goods, and a very very small selection of vegetables. Some cheese, some relish, some chotchkas - but the women that work there are so unfriendly. We go at least once a month and I've never heard a kind word or laughter. They either hate working there or have some weird sense of entitlement. Not impressed. Staff were not friendly and arrogant. Maybe because I'm Asian. Not recommending or going back again.

I want to give this place five stars for their baked goods, but I can't justify it. Everything looks really good, but I was let down by a few items. Multigrain bread is tasty, but not tasty enough to charge 11ish bucks. Sesame bread is 100% tasteless and overpriced. Young's Farm sits below and to the rear of the Young Farms Stand. So much is spoken about the little white shack with the low ceilings, taller guys be alert, that the sprawling fields that provide the produce seem to get lost in the dust. I for one don't like to park and rush inside, soaking up the beauty of the fields, imagining myself running through them with the sun on my shoulders, perhaps a piece of straw in my mouth for effect. Whatever it is I see, whatever I daydream about before I shop, I feel a thousand miles from New York City and for those few moments my body's stresses are taken from me. The homemade frozen soups freezer is always my first stop, I typically grab some corn and lettuce depending on the season. At which point the faint aroma carries me off to the northerly baked goods section like Bugs Bunny after inhaling the ether in The Monsters castle. Although my cart pales in comparison to local shoppers, my days take yields typically only one bag, but Young's Farms provides a unique shopping experience unlike any other, an opportunity to purchase fresh from the farm, its a feeing of freedom from the super, mega marts we've come to be used to. All of this just 20 short miles outside of NYC has me stopping by when every opportunity presents itself. read more

This is a true LI gem. Farm stand, bakery, gourmet shop, little bit of a gift shop too. Its been around as long as I can remember, came here with my G'Mother, my Mom now my sister & I shop here. It can be a little pricey, it's not for your everyday veggies, but when you want to escape to the country without going too far and need a little treat...the Tollhouse Pie...oh yeah!!! This is where you go. Great bread too from Sullivan St Bakery, love the little sourdough loaves. Everything they make and sell is top quality, true gourmet!!! read more

I wish there were more farms like this still in business in Nassau. Please stop by and support them! They have a wonderful selection of produce, pre made food, and desserts, as well as a selection of home goods/ gifts. We love stopping in to see what they are currently carrying. We are currently eating a peach cake and it is wonderful! Tastes amazing but all of their desserts are also beautiful. They have a large gluten free selection. This is a small family business so the prices are a little higher, but I don't mind spending the extra dollar to support one of the last remaining family farms in the area! read more

Awesome customer service. I called to see if they had an assorted produce/cheese/veggie basket as a gift for my husband. The woman on the phone was extremely helpful with this request. While they didn't have anything premade, she mentioned that she would help us pick something out and put a nice basket together. My sister arrived 15 minutes later to assemble the basket and the woman behind the counter helped her find exactly what we wanted. The end product was a beautifully wrapped basket with an assortment of bread, cheese, and vegetables. They had a garlic cheese spread that was phenomenal. I will 100% be back! read more

This place has more than just vegetable and flowers. There are baked goods, and cute decorations and other locally made stuffs. The store is bit pricy but it is fun to shop sometimes. One time I was there just to buy a pie, and my kids wanted to get a bag of cookies which was pretty expensive for me. So I told my kids "let's buy it next time because we are buying a pie this time" and I think the store owner was watching us, after I payed in the cashier, she offered a cookie for each of my kids and they were so so happy. It was kind and generous. She made our hearts very warm. People often forget to act nice and be kind nowadays and this store reminded me such act still exists and made us want to pay it forward. I ordered a product to be shipped to me which is out of state. The order was not shipped 2 day as expected which was disappointing as I needed it. When I called to find out where it was, Remsen, one of the owner's admitted they had neglected to send the order; she was very apologetic for the staff that had not followed through and wanted to make it right. So she shipped the order overnight. The baked goods arrived in perfect condition and true to their style, were beautiful! She further insisted on a generous credit arrangement due to the error. Any service that looses money on a service has a higher calling to their customers and their reputation and Young's Farms makes a fine point of customer service. When I lived in the area I was their customer for 20 years-- the service, the baked goods and all the products I bought were top notch and they continue to be. Thank you for making it right Young's! This is the cutest bakery/farm ever. I just can't believe this place exist so close to queens. Came here with my brother to pick out one of their infamous pies but things sell out super quick. We were only able to grab one of their blueberry cobbler pie which was the last one on the shelf and we were very proud of that. I also grabbed the lemony raspberry muffin. Yes, I only grabbed 1 muffin & I regretted it instantly because it was JUST THAT GOOD, I wish I took the whole case! Everyone here has smiley faces & has so much enthusiasm working here, which makes my heart flutter with joy. Will definitely become a regular! read more
