I went to Youngs Farm this past Saturday with a friend. I purchased chocolate chip cookies for my husband, he devoured them as soon as I gave them to him. On a whim, I purchased the minestrone soup, it was still warm when I took it to the counter to pay for it. We had it for dinner last night and I have to say it was the BEST soup I've ever had in my life!!! The soup was loaded with lots of fresh veggies and the broth was really good. I'm sorry I didn't buy more than one quart. I am definitely going back this weekend to stock up. read more

We used Youngs Farm as the vendor for our desserts at our wedding in May. It was probably the best decision we made. We got an assortment of pies that were made fresh THAT MORNING and Remsen and her team delivered it to our venue. Needless to say, they were a huge hit. Remsen was able to answer all our questions and gave recommendations as to what would travel the best and what would be in season. She was so easy and great to work with. TIP: if you go this route with having pies instead of wedding cake, remember that the pies will be made the day of and selections are based off what is in season. So this is not something you should start worrying about until a month or so before your wedding. read more

Late review but I picked up a pear crumb pie for thanksgiving here, and a blueberry biscuit! Both had such a great taste, and I loved the biscuit, they have a variety of soups and other pastries. Recently had the opportunity to stop by and pick up a few baked items for which they are well-known in the area for. Hands down one of the best pecan pies I have had - but then who wouldn't like something full of butter and sugar! Also tried their chocolate & peanut butter cookies as well as their scones. Their baked stuff are good and made on site. Definitely worth a trip on the way home to bring something special to the table for after-dinner treat. read more

Fantastic! Been going here for decades and it keeps getting better. As the name says, the shop is on a farm. Gorgeous setting - easy to get to. They're organic, (which for me matters) and only offer the freshest in-season vegetables. They have delicious homemade soups, fresh breads & so much more. Youngs' baked goods are better than any in the region. The blueberry crumble pie is a family favorite, but the truth is they're all exceptional as are the brownies, cookies & all the rest! They also have general store type items for sale and often fresh flowers too. Prices are higher than average. Parking is plentiful. Happy to highly recommend. read more

My family and I have been coming here since I was tiny. It's not cheap but it is the best pie I've ever had. You MUST try the pear crumble. It is phenomenal. Lemon bars, blueberry, and apple are also really delicious. Absolutely worth the visit! Especially when you have in-laws or family members to impress. read more

While the baskets and homewares are cute the front store staff are incredibly rude. The three women, one older and two middle aged, who worked behind the front counter acted as though they were doing us a favor by getting us a muffin. I love to go to Youngs Farm. Located in beautiful Brookville on the north shore of Long Island, this Farmers market, country store has the highest quality of baked goods and produce. The summer vegetables are reminiscent of the way all vegetables used to take thirty years ago! We love the corn and tomatoes! The pies, especially peach and Apple, are so tasty. Pie crusts are flaky but not buttery. Reminds me of grandmas pies! The quality is high and the prices are too but it's well worth it! read more

I love buying things from actual farms. It always tastes so much better and Young's Farm is a perfect example of this fact. I have only had their pies but their pies are awesome. I prefer their fruit ones as oppose to their chocolate pies but they really all are good. Perfect to take to a dinner or to bring home for the family. read more

Lovely farm stand with great pies and frozen prepared foods. Everything is fresh and local. It's expensive, but worth it for choice items.

A beautiful farm shop (and farmland) in idyllic Glen Head. There's a chalkboard that lists what produce is from Young's, and what produce is brought in (but local). The produce looks amazing, but ain't cheap. I'm not complaining, but I didn't buy the beans or sugar-snap peas, no matter how good they looked. I'm sure everything is market-priced - the area around the farm ain't hurting for money. The watermelons looked good but I saw no seedless varieties. I was expecting more apples - maybe more will be coming as the season progresses. There's a lot to be had here in terms of baked goods, and all sorts of things in the cold-cases. There was a peach cake in the baked goods case that had me regretting my apple pie purchase from Jericho Cider Mill. SPECIAL NOTE: there's bread from Eli's in Manhattan (meh), but also bread from Sullivan Street Bakery (!), which they have on weekends. I bet this area is jaw-dropping once the leaves turn. This is my first visit here, my son & I scouted it out. We'll be back with mama to show her! read more

This was our first time and it was well run with social distancing measures in place. There was a line. It it went pretty quickly and they offered someone to shop for you if you had a list and knew what you wanted. We enjoyed everything we picked up except the pie. I got coconut and it was so sweet that I couldn't even finish a slice. Ended up throwing the rest of the pie away which was a shame. read more

I can honestly say when it comes to quality produce, they are the BEST! However, the people in the bakery section are always so short with me when I go in there. Not sure why. They act like they are doing me a favor. I have worked in retail in the past, and that would never be tolerated. Good customer service is what brings you back.. I'm a Youngs Farm lover!!! They grow and sell fresh fruit and veggies, and make fresh fruit pies, veggie soups, quiches, and more from their stock... They also bake delicious cookies, pound cakes, walnut bars, and more. Thinking of the smell inside is enough to get me driving out to Brookville. My mom loves Young's for the little tchotchkes- expensive cocktail napkins with cute sayings, dessert plates, baskets, and many great gifts. Stopping by Young's Farm makes you feel like you're on vacation in the country, a true departure from suburban life. read more

A bit of heaven on a lovely country lane....if you are a sugar lover like I am, you will definitely want to visit Youngs Farm. I always stop for their fresh vegetables and fruits but find that I tend to drift into the bakery section and I am "hooked" on the wonderful array of freshly baked cakes, cookies and pies. The chocolate brownies (with nuts), the cranberry scones, the awesome flourless chocolate cake, the blueberry pound cake, the oatmeal cookies, the peanut butter cookies (like my Grammy used to make) the chocolate chip cookies, the ginger shortbread cookies, the peach cake, the orange rum pound cake and I could go on and on. The countryside around Youngs Farm is so beautiful that often film crews use the area as a backdrop for television shows, but the real winner for me is the bakery and I am drooling just writing this review.
