The young lady informed me that the coffee might get cold by the time I arrived, but I told her I had no problem with that since I was already on my way. She proceeded to repeat my order back to me and said, 'Thank you, we'll see you soon. Have a good day.' I thanked her and hung up. We arrived at St. Rocco's Bakery within 15 minutes. I waited in a long line, and as soon as a young man assisted me, I informed him that I was picking up a phone order for Veronica. He went to the kitchen and came back saying, 'They are working on your order right now.' I said perfect, and asked to add an extra coffee. He went to get the coffees and then checked back in the kitchen for my order. He came back out and asked, 'Are you sure you called the right location? There are no orders under Veronica being made.' I took out my phone and showed him the 10:32 AM call. I asked if it was their number, and he confirmed it was. I explained that I called, placed the order, and had it repeated back to me. He looked shocked. The chef then came out and asked another counter employee if she had taken the order. She didn't speak a word and just kept staring at the chef without acknowledging me. I got extremely aggravated by the situation, especially because no one apologized and no one offered to quickly make my breakfast. So, I just left.
