Wouldn't use them again, they really don't bring anything to the table other than making a few phone calls for you. Contact a transporter on your own. When my car went missing they told me I would have to contact the transporter on my own. They did nothing to facilitate or say "hey we'll take care of this for you". My car was lost over a weekend and total radio silence from this company. Every interaction/communication I had with them required me to initiate it. Don't believe any rebuttal they post on here. A 3-day trip took 8 days and I had to handle 75% of the details... And of course, "We offer no refunds for late transports." First, let me say, I am a "Dana M" but I am not the owner. However, do read her comment below regarding their business. While we have been shipping both our cars to and from Naples for 7-8 years, we found Young's a few years ago and couldn't be happier. Their drivers are courteous, their service is reliable and our vehicles have arrived in excellent condition. They make pickup and delivery of our vehicles seamless and will provide transportation to and from the airport when we depart or arrive, sometimes delivering the vehicle directly to us upon our arrival at the airport. We found Young's after an all too typical experience dealing with a transport company that doesn't own any trucks. Each experience became more difficult until our vehicle disappeared for nearly a week with little communication. They kept telling us it would be the next day, knowing full well, that was impossible. On day 5, we threatened to report it stolen, it was delivered on day 6 and we never recovered the cost of a rental car for the week. Young's takes the stress out of shipping your vehicles and highly recommend them. read more

Car Owner's Beware. Chain of custody is NOT part of the operational process of the company. If you are OK with NOT KNOWING WHO has your car, WHERE your car is, or WHEN it will be delivered, then use Young's. We did receive our car in the end, but at one point not even Young's was able to tell us who had our car and where it was. I have a complete and detailed write up of my experience for anyone who would like it. I would not recommend paying this company a premium fee. We did only b/c we were told the car would be kept in storage if it arrived before us - but it did not. Talk to others who have transported cars and pay direct. I just read Dana (owner) remarks below. Agreed, the IS a very stressful time and this process made it a lot worse. All you all had to do was tell us what was happening. I needed to ship a car from Naples to Ohio and chose Young's Transport based on the Yelp reviews. When I emailed Young's Transport to see what the rate would be, they responded quickly and they were very helpful. The next day, their driver contacted me and scheduled the pick-up of the car. Randy was the driver and he was wonderful. He was very helpful and friendly. The car was delivered in Ohio 24 hours later. Everything was easy and the delivery went smoothly. I did not use their services only bc I called last minute and scheduling was too far out, totally my fault. I will say that they were very professionally, sincere, and honest about the info as opposed to the other 20+ transporters I called, most of whom are brokers and often quite rude. This company actually owns their own carriers only to sub contract when necessary though they are established relationships within their business not just anyone who gives them a quote. I would definitely consider them for future bookings. I went with the carrier who transported my vehicle down that had a cancellation and could accommodate me but would use young as well. read more

This was the best transportation company we have ever used! Randy was our driver and he was amazing! He stayed in contact with us daily on his drive from Florida to Illinois. We have used Young's for years and have been satisfied. This last time, there was a malfunction with the truck and a part had to be secured. Neither the driver nor the office called us to tell us that there would be a delay in the delivery of our vehicles. We had to call after several days to learn about this problem from the office. Also, we never received the cell phone number of the driver, which we were promised, nor did we have a way to contact the office over the weekend since it is closed. Our cars were to be delivered on a Sunday and were not delivered until several days later. This lack of communication is unacceptable. read more

Don't use this unprofessional business. We contacted Young's on April 6th about transporting our car from Estero FL to Portland ME. We spoke with Jeannie in the office who assured us that we would have our car picked up by 5/28 and delivered timely. We were required to make a deposit that day and did it electronically so they received it within the hour. On 5/17, we received a curt email saying "sorry, but we can't transport your car after all". No phone call. We called and were told they did not have any trucks available. We asked to go pick up our check and were told that the accountant was not in and they would mail it. I called twice afterwards to get our deposit and Jeannie could not give me any update as "the owner does the checks and is not in the office". I finally received an email that our check was mailed on May 29th which was almost two weeks after they canceled us. Why couldn't they electronically send us our money in return? We realize that it's a tough business, but not so tough that they cannot pick up the phone to explain the cancellation or not so tough as to hold onto someone's deposit when they were the ones who canceled the transaction. We thought we'd use a local SWFL company, but we were much better off using a national broker who was professional and got our car to Maine without any drama. read more
