It may not be the most affordable gym in the treasure Valley but it's worth the price they charge for access to the pools, hot tub, the various classes you can attend throughout their locations, access to the gym equipment and indoor track for walking/jogging/running among other things. They always have events going on, and many programs are available for families and children. Not to mention the fact that they don't just turn people away when they can't pay the full gym membership fee. They have many generous kind hearted donors whose donations allow them to provide financial aid for those experiencing hardships so if you're on a very limited budget, it wouldn't hurt to ask an employee about financial assistance. I feel as though they truly value me as a member and I always have a great time while I'm here so they will always have my support. I'm so glad I left planet fitness to be a member of the Y- one of the BEST decisions I've ever made!

My wife and I have been members here for a little over a year and a half. We live in Star so the…read morelocation is very convenient. There are other health clubs in Star, but we like Anytime. The manager, Ben Huffman, is a good guy. Very helpful and responsive whenever I have questions or need to update my membership. It is a quiet and low-key club. We are retired and we can come when we want. As long as we avoid the rush hour times(generally weekdays in the early morning or after work), it is not crowded and we don't wait for equipment. It is small, but the machines offer everything we need for our weight training, and they have treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals for aerobics. There are now two personal trainers, I believe, plus Ben. There is a tanning booth which I've never utilized. My only desire would be for this location to offer exercise classes of some sort. I think my wife and I might like that.

I have been struggling with reigniting my passion for working out for years and found myself in the worst shape of my life when I made the decision to give CrossFit a shot. Admittedly, I had misconceptions of what CrossFit is, and was very nervous about trying it out but when I toured Canvas' beautiful facility and met the owner Abigail, I instantly felt this was going to be exactly what I had been searching for. Now a month and a half in, I can easily say this is the best gym I have ever committed to, and I look forward to showing up every day!

In town for a pickleball tournament at nearby Flying Pickle, my husband and I took a walk one…read moremorning and came across this brand new gym... We walked over to take a look and happened to chat with one of the owners. I returned the next day (today) and my timing was impeccable as I met the other owner, Chelsi. I then decided to do a "drop in" workout for just $10.60. I used the stair climber, free weights, benches, and bike and got my sweat on and my energy out. You'd be surprising how stressful a pickleball tournament can be as a parent ;) There were a few other folks working out while I was there, but the facility is so large, I felt like I had it all to myself! This is such a great concept... I wish I had one closer to home. I would absolutely be a member if I were closer. It's super affordable, has top of the line equipment, and you can come and go as you please... 24 hours a day! The website says that the mission at Elite Fitness is "to empower individuals of all fitness levels to achieve their health and wellness goals by providing 24-hour access to a safe, supportive, and results-driven environment. We are committed to offering clean, high-quality facilities, professional service, and a culture of respect, motivation, and continuous improvement." I would say they are off to a great start! Thanks for the workout today, Elite Fitness, and best of luck moving forward - I hope to be back in the future if/when we visit the area again!
