When I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment (to handle my co-pay and paperwork), the front desk staff were not welcoming or helpful. They just pointed to the sign-in sheet and seemed uninterested in assisting patients. The technician even had to come out to ask where his patient was, which showed a lack of organization at the front. The technician was professional and efficient -- the procedure took less than 10 minutes. However, he mentioned the CD would be ready the next day, while the front desk told me it would take three days. The inconsistency and lack of communication made the process frustrating. This office has potential, but the front desk really needs better training and organization. With a bit more attention to patient service, it could be a much smoother experience.

Although they are under the same organization umbrella there truly needs to be a distinction between the two, no one has pointed that out in the reviews yet. The office located at: 8200 SW 117th Ave, Unit 304 Is truly such a gem. As a first time mom the whole experience can be nerve-wracking and foreign and honestly scary. My experience with this office has no blemishes but one. From the start the nursing assistants were so kind and so excited for our baby, it felt like each office visit was a visit to a friend. Special highlight on Denise, she truly went out of her way to know us and smile/laugh encourage us each visit. She works with Dr. Mendez-Gomez who was also such a nice person. Now it's probably normal that the Dr. you see in office will likely not attend you through birth because of hospital scheduling but this wasn't an issue for us because we were able to meet a fair amount of the Drs. during our nine months of appointments. Super special highlight for Dr. Casanova who upon first meeting us greeted us like family with hugs and warmth. I went into pregnancy just knowing to myself I would never want anything except a female doctor. Dr. Casanova changed my thought process entirely. My husband and I left gushing about how personable he was to us and every appointment after that was equally as nice and refreshing. Highly recommend. Now the office located inside of West Kendall hospital -- I fully understand why there are 1star negative reviews. I was attended to by a Doctor I never met, who must have been from West Kendall office. This was fine as we had no choice, he wasn't personable at all though. He barely spoke to us, we saw our nurses more than him. I can say I saw him twice in the span of my birthing hours. Once when I came to the hospital and once during delivery. The delivery was great, he stitched me up great. The nurses spoke during delivery not him. But anyway, I can understand the reviews on the office because I had to go to this office instead of my regular office on 117th for my stitches checkup. This office isn't warm, the office staff are short with you. On my postpartum questionnaire I answered honestly about how I was feeling and I expected someone to acknowledge I needed help and talk to me about it. After checking my stitches the nurse told the Dr my score. He stayed in the room with me for all of 2 minute, spoke softly and unintelligible, I couldn't understand him. I left that office wishing I had gone to my regular office. Anyway all that to say, there NEEDS to be a distinction between the two practices with the same name. We tried The Bounding Site for baby #2 and while we had a good experience, they are all about business, money and quite different from 3D Momentos. Let me begin by saying the staff was very friendly. We scheduled the appointment & visited the same day. They were great on the phone and even sent us a text message with step by step instructions on how to get to the place. Very surprised here and not the norm for any business. Upon arriving at the office we were greeted with a big smile and genuine happiness to have us there. I did not get a feeling (like my previous two visits to other places) that they were there for the money. My wife kind of cheated by eating chocolates just prior to arriving to the appointment and so the baby was super happy, chewing on the umbilical chord and with his feet on his face. So, after 5 minutes, the owner told us we needed to come back because she wanted us to have phenomenal experience and we were not getting what we paid for. The baby refused to let us see his face. The five minutes there was enough to let me know the caliber and professionalism of this wonderful lady. So we get to come back and do it all over again. I highly recommend this business. Not even when she had a "good shot of him" she kept shaking , moving me sideways and pulling cold can on my stomach. Later that day, I had the most horrible cramps that continued for a few days. Overall , The 3D/4D Package cost 75 dll. I couldn't have a right shot of the baby and they did not scheduled me for another day like they were supposed to do.

I asked friends for chiropractor recommendations and decided to go to a place in Dadeland. However, in the first appointment, that chiropractor was already pressuring me to commit to several visits and start financing or paying in full. My gut instinct was get the $10 Xray disc and run the heck out of there. It didn't feel right. The next day, I remember going on the computer and typing in, "chiropractors near FIU," and voi-la! "Campus Chiropractic" popped up. I looked at the address on Google Maps and found out it was right at FIU! I could not believe it. I was also shocked that it is connected to Fisher Chiropractic, which I've gone to in the past after a car accident (thank goodness for car insurance) and had a great experience. Dr. Fisher in Kendall and Dr. Whitford who was working at the Miami Beach location at the time were both amazing! I was having tremendous neck and back pains for a while, so I quickly called to see Dr. Richard at Campus Chiropractic. I was ecstatic when I was told that my co-pay was less expensive than that Dadeland place I went to. At my first appointment, Dr. Richard was very welcoming. I explained to him about my situation and gave him the disc. He was like, "Why did these people take Xrays of areas that aren't even related to your spines and neck," while pointing to my head on the monitor screen. I said I have no idea. He assured that he'd take good care of me and would never make patients commit to certain number of sessions because people get better and heal differently. Every since then, Dr. Richard has been the only chiropractor that I go to and recommend people to. I've been to Campus Chiropractic probably over 40 times since last year (I didn't check-in every single time on Yelp). I was in great deal of pain for years, so I went to get adjusted almost every week. My spine was also curved sideways and it was really hard to turn my neck sideways too. Then as I got better and better after regular visits, I didn't have to go back to get adjusted as often. Now I only go once or twice every 1-2 month(s). Oh! And the Cryoderm Pain Relieving Cold Therapy Spray works like a charm! Dr. Richard would spray the areas that were sore, and it would help a lot. It's like a minty feeling. Earlier this year or late last year, Dr. Richard sent me to another place in South Miami to get another Xray to see how my body structure is now compared to before (health insurance covered it). When he got the results, he went over them with me to show me what improved. He definitely doesn't lie to patients because he shows you the facts. He's also a great listener. I remember one time while lying on the chiropractor table having my neck adjusted, tears just started pouring out of my eyes because I was sad about something. He didn't judge, he listened, comforted me, and said everything will be fine. The office at the time was shared with Reebok Crossfit. After Reebok left, the office relocated temporarily to FIU Health. Now, the office is back at PG6 and it looks different because it got renovated. I love the new office layout because there's no awkward empty gym. The reception is at the front and the office is at the back. The restrooms are in the back as well, spanking clean and nice! They even have shower stalls! Whaaaat! When you make the first appointment, the staff will ask if you have insurance or not, and if you have gotten Xray-ed lately. At the first or second appointment, you have to fill out paperwork, which is standard procedure. Dr. Richard will go over the Xrays with you, ask you questions, and feel the areas that are giving you discomfort and pains. After that, you can get Ultrasound, "STEM" and/or heat pads before adjustments. And payment is taken at the end of each session. They accept cards for sure, probably cash too. Wait time can be anywhere between 1-30 minutes depending on if you have an appointment or not and how busy they are. Some patients may take longer or shorter time. I recommend allocating at least 1 hour before and after your appointment just in case. If you are currently studying or working at FIU, you luck out with parking. If you don't, then there's meter parking right at the front of the office. Overall, I am extremely happy with Campus Chiropractic's services. The staff and Dr. Richard are all wonderful, helpful, professional, and friendly.
