Mine was an under $25,000 property damage claim. Yes they won an award of about 80% of which they netted about 30%. I guess that was fair, however, through out the process they RARELY accepted or RETUNED my calls. I'd give the a ""0" on commuications, The process from claim to award was about two and a half years! Paper work on their end was often incorrect, even to the awards checks that were made ou to contractors whom I had paid for work 21/2 years prior. so they had to sebd award checks back to the insurer them to have the reissued which added anoth delay. Like I said, yes they won but the process was unprofesssional, SLOW, expensive AND THE PAPER WORK WAS OFTEN INCORRECT. i GUESS FOR A LOW-VALUE CLAIM IT MAY BE OK TO HIRE THEM BUT. Hello, All. My experience with "Your Insurance Attorney's" has not been great. I hired this company foolishly thinking they would help me. Long story, short. I hired them in hopes that they would protect me against an HOA hired roofing company that neglected to cover my kitchen area roof properly during a summer rainstorm while I was at work. When I got home from work it was literally raining in my kitchen. I immediately notified my neighbor downstairs who was and is a board member. She came up to my house and then notified the HOA people of my issue. No one from the HOA Management company contacted me for several days after the fact. I had contacted the roofing company so many times through email and phone calls. No return calls or emails back to me. I had no choice at this point. I thought. So, I contacted "Your Insurance Attorney ". I couldn't afford a law suit, so I went this route instead. They came out and did their intake. Months later, they sent out a person to photograph the damage. He actually photographed my entire house. I found that odd, but I didn't say anything because I've never had an issue like this before. In the end after 9 months of no return phone calls from my attorneys office. They send me an envelope with a check in it from my Insurance company for $631 and change with instructions to sign it and send it back. I signed it and sent it back and followed up with a phone call. I specifically asked with signing this document, does it mean that my case is now closed? The young woman that I spoke with regarding this said and I quote..."No ma'am". Just please sign the check and send it back. We will continue with your case. Less than two weeks later, I get an email stating that they are now closing my case. That they can not move forward with it because I will lose. I called that office and again, I was told from the office person, not my Attorney because I had never not once spoken to him at all after many requests to speak with my attorney that my case was not going to win. It was then that I realized that this firm had in fact inflated my damages to my Insurance company so much that they denied the claim and my attorney knew that there was no way that they would win in court. By the way, the check I signed from my insurance company for $631.00 and change...I got $31.00 out of that. You would think that they were the victim. They did this to me and now, I have to pay out of my own pocket to fix the damages caused by this roofing company. FYI, I literally had to rate this company with a star in order to post my issue. Been almost 2 years and still have not received the check. All i get is be patient from their emails now that they secured almost 28k out of a 50k settlement. Now i have to deal with losing the insurance company, paying extra for a new policy due to the fact they want a wind policy but wont give me one since my roof is damaged and there is active claim! Now my insurance has gone up 20k and all the money i got to fix the roof is going to end up going to the insurance policy so my Mortgage company doesnt drop me! Stay away from these people! February - First Contact Contacted the firm about damages from hurricane Milton. I had been working with a contractor who said he was working with the insurance company. He said the insurance company was not responding. He later admitted he had not tried. Decided to contact My Insurance Attorney as they advertised on Facebook. Someone was sent out the same day. Was told they would contact the insurer. The insurer had 90 days to reply. I was also told the firm would be requesting a copy of my policy. June - Month of Hell dealing with their estimator It was my expectation that the firm would be ready to move forward after the 90 day wait. I was told an estimator would have to assess the damages and prepare a report. This guy required constant badgering to get him here initially. Then, more begging and pleading to get his final report. My estimated damaged were about $45,000. This guy jacked it up to $121.000 and wanted more time to jack it some more. I insisted that he move forward. I regret I did not terminate my relationship with the firm at this time. July - Waiting for a copy of the policy Waited weeks for the firm to get a copy of my policy. I had been told in February they would be getting this. At the end of the month, it took just a few minutes for me to get a copy for them. August - Screwed by a departing employee I was completely frustrated by the pace. I was told by an employee that the process could be expedited by an appraisal process where someone from the firm would meet with an insurance adjuster at my home and give me a check on the spot. I was told the appraisal process would have no right to appeal. I was willing to take my chances. I waited a couple weeks Then tried contacting the employee I found out the employee was no longer with the firm. There was no record of my agreement to proceed with appraisal September - The appraisal It was still my belief that the appraisal would result in a check on the spot. This didn't happen It took weeks for the firm and the insurer to come to an agreement on the amount. October-November - The firm sat on my check I was notified by the insurer on October 17 that a check would be sent. I later confirmed with the insurer that they check was sent on October 24. The check was sent to the firm with no tracking. The firm told me it would take 14 days for the check to arrive. That should have been November 7. I was told the next week that the firm had the check before November 7. I was told they would not forward my check for another 15 business days. December - Finally got my check Received my check on December 6. The mortgage holder is listed as a payee. Endorsed check had to be sent to the lender for their endorsement read more

Hired this firm before he passed. Jumped through hoops, made to answer pages of questions for the other side. We provided them with over 1,200 documents, pictures, quotes and receipts... they NEVER looked at ANY of the provided files once.. NOT once!!!!!!. Attempted to settle the case without my consent or knowledge, despite me telling them upfront I wanted to go to court if the insurance company didn't cover my clearly covered costs/expenses. What should have been a slam dunk easy case for them, was a fiasco where nobody knows anything, will ever call you back, and has 6-9 different lead attorneys who have no case knowledge. The "settling" attorney did not know our case, did not look at ANY of our documentation, or even the documents, estimates, and assessments they did themselves (had audacity to charge me extra for that too despite having NO knowledge about them). They settled for $6k, with actual out of pocket expenses of $30k in clearly policy covered expenses/reimbursements. They offered the insurance company complete indemnification, with ZERO details of what they covered, were paying for or what denied.... than provided an 6 line final settlement closing statement with no explanation, call or anything but a new request with a new Attorney Firm for an Irrevocable Power of Attorney on my case. Having worked with many attorneys and firms in my lifetime, this one is by far the worst, weakest, unhelpful, and most unprofessional I've EVER worked with. I signed up with them over a dispute with my home insurance, where they refused to take responsibility for a covered incident. These folks did exactly nothing for 3 months, other than asking me to fill out various onboarding documents, sending information and photos etc, and eventually they just sent me an email out of the blue that they are closing the case and they stopping representation. I asked for clarification and the reasons, they just don't do as much as the courtesy of responding. From what I saw they were unable or unwilling to follow up with the insurance; I guess they'd be happy to take a cut out of an easy settlement, but if it requires any real work, they bail out on you and cost your months and months of delay and wasted effort on my side. read more

I reached out to this organization for help. Personality wise, the people are great. However, despite the fact that they confirmed things twice while we were on the phone, they lied to me. They claimed they would be able to cover certain cases that were still pending from 2 years ago. By the way that have a three to five year appeal window. But after 2 years they claim it's too late. Which it's not. And then they send someone to my home to sit and listen to me tell the story again for another hour. I have five cases by the way. And in the end they tell me they can't help me with three out of the five cases. They only give a damn about the hurricanes. You know the reason easy ones. Not the ones that are really important. And then, they repeatedly call me on the phone with sales taxes trying to pressure me to work with them. Not only did I tell them that I was checking into other attorneys as well and then going to make my decision , but they kept insisting that I work with them because they were the best in the state and the biggest in the state. Biggest does not mean best. Nor does used car sales tactics. Is someone who's been in sales for over 30 years I repeatedly asked them to let me reach out to them when I was ready. And yet they still harass me. Just yesterday I asked them to wait until I heard from this other attorney so I can evaluate my options and decide which way to go. Instead I received multiple texts, multiple emails, and more pressure. I stopped the text. And the very next day received a denial letter saying that they weren't going to work with me anymore because my claims had deadlines. Will clearly that's not true based on simple research online, as well as the fact that they're more than happy to cover hurricane Helene and Milton which aren't even a year old. These people only care about the money that they can make off of you, not about you or how to help you. Their morals and their ethics are seriously lacking and they do not be long in the legal industry. I was referred to Your Insurance Attorney by the Law Firm of Morgan & Morgan, who was paid as Co-Council. At first, a Representative from Your Insurance Attorney came down to my house to tell me I had a case due to damages from Hurricane Milton, and they were anxious for me to sign a contract. After that, I could not reach them by phone or email, after hundreds of emails and phone calls. The Attorney who was appointed to handle my case, ignored the fact I was living in a mold filled house giving me health problems. Besides the Attorney & her legal team, I was only able to get answers from the Your Insurance Attorney Adjuster. A Your Insurance Attorney team member was paid to deal with US Bank who holds my Mortgage, but it has been almost a year, and I still do not have the funds necessary to fix my house. I even questioned why all these people were getting paid, but once again did not get any answers. My settlement was for approximately $80,000, yet US Bank is only holding $40,000 in Escrow for me. I therefore want to know where all this money is going to and why! read more

My Lopez attorney said they would only pay 10 grand I said take it to court. My Lopez attorney said I could lose n get nothing going to trial. To take the 10 grand. Being cohersed to take 10 gs. Later I found out Lopez firm got 15, that's more than My 10 Gs. I don't recommend this firm to no one. My car accident with all my injuries, they got me a lousy $2,000. Accident wasnt my fault. We have been assigned Natalie Mertha, impossible to get any updates on our case. Umpire was assigned, came to the house on 9/20/23. Called today (10/24/23) to get an update. Left a message, sent an email. Absolutely nothing. I have no faith or assurances that my case is being handled in a competent manner and likely have no recourse in the matter at this point. A month ago we hired your firm. I have been fighting to get someone to move our case. We have Frontline insurance, they are dropping us the first week in February. We are retired on a fixed income and can not be without insurance or put in forced insurance. ( if claim open no company will insure us) First paralegal never got in touch. (Insurance rep told me I was represented so she could not talk to me) Then I called your company was told who was the paralegal. Got dropped from a call, she never called back. I called a contact Nick who told me she just took another call She gave me a different story. Called HR Sophia gave me another paralegal who did send an estimator a week ago. He told us Estimate would be in your office Monday. Didn't happen. The second paralegal now has family issues and wasn't in office. Then the first paralegal who never called back I got connected to again and tells me the estimate will take 30 days!! I was quite upset. My insurance agent tells me we must get this settled Friday we talked to an attorney but he didn't know many pertinent facts or know that we just finished mold removal, passed the test after failing 4 times changing hygienists. We have a bedroom down to studs 3/4 ceiling ripped out This is my business room. We have a good portion of our bathroom ripped out. No sinks, storage cabinet, medicine cabinet and lighting. We are scared having to go to court was mentioned and that would take a long time. We really need to move on our case This is a nightmare. We need to negotiate as soon as possible. One thing I will agree with is there communication lacks!!!!!! They've placed me with a legal assistant on my claim, Brian F! And it appears to me is all he ever is...is out to lunch. Once the so-called inspector arrived he needed to call his office, / supervisor. He used my bathroom where he could close the door so I couldn't hear his conversation. When I had called him back he was somewhat willing to go further, however he said the results could be a "very long" time. I'm sure this "very long" time was because my case ended up being very small dollar amount & not at all very profitable for his business. So his free inspection was really to see how much it was worth, & to waste my time- where I could of found another inspector if I so desired. read more

I contracted Your Insurance Attorney the adjuster that came out quoted me a rate of 20%, I thought it was high but signed the paperwork. Little did I know that somewhere in the fine print it stated plus attorney's fees. They charged me $15,000 for attorneys fees plus 20% of 35k I was left with $16k. When I tell you ruuuunnnnn! They did NOTHING to represent me. They were poorly equipped at mediations and depositions! I received $35k- 19k out of a $102,000 lawsuit! I couldn't even replace my pipes. I had to go with a lining.
