I order the mixed veggies with white rice, a pint of Wonton soup and couple of egg rolls. Long story short, the food was bland. The veggies were coarsely chopped and the mushrooms were quartered. They were wokedd in a oyster sauce. The soup was flavorful but the wontons were "Al Dente" weird texture for Asian cusine. Egg rolls also bland.

Three points that cost this restaurant 3 stars: 1. When my boyfriend placed the order for delivery, the man who took the order was extremely curt and impatient. 2. When the delivery person got here, he explained that our 2 Dr. Pepper cans hadn't been added to the total and asked if my boyfriend could "add the cost to the tip." In my opinion, if you forget to add it after we had it on our order, the business should just cover the lost costs. 3. My chicken chow mein - see photo attached to this review. Only thing I ate from my entree was the fried rice. Even my boyfriend tasted it - it was borderline inedible. Is it just me, or is this not chow mein? And no, the noodles were not hiding at the bottom of the container. Other than that, the food came hot and quickly. And the fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, fried dumplings and egg rolls are on point. Just wish I would've been able to actually eat my chow mein.

Piece of metal from Wonton.. disappointing

Decide to enjoy leftover from last night. Wonton soup so good. Bite into my second to last wonton and yes shard of metal...

Average Chinese takeout. It's nothing special but since it's close by and not bad I continue to order from here.

The coconut shrimp in the Wow Roll was a standout moment. Light, crispy, and perfectly balanced. The warm lobster roll was generous and satisfying! We started with chowder, one Manhattan and one New England- both fantastic. Two appetizers- the fried clam strips and the tuna tartare sushi - another win/win! For the entrees we took one from the specials, a blackened Mahi Mahi with lemon mashed potatoes and green beans which was sublime. For the other we tried a lobster taco that came with a choice of salad or hand cut fries. We went the fry route. They were great. Notes: it's a small place, they do not take reservations so you will wait for a table, however, they will text you when it's ready. They do sell wine or byob - your choice. They have a fish market and their own fishing boats and are proud to serve their own caught fish. This seems to be a local favorite in the Point Pleasant area. It will be crowded- it will be worth the wait. Come comfortable, it's laid back and it's all about enjoying really good seafood!

Our waiter did not come to take our order until a good 35-40 minutes after sitting, not a huge deal but a notable delay. What irritated me during dinner was we were asked if we'd like dessert while 2 people were still eating their meals, followed by the check immediately arriving- no etiquette. While paying and wrapping up the staff were directed to clear the table, this was obvious. For full drinks to be removed without asking is unacceptable. It was as if we weren't even sitting there the manner they were clearing. Again it was obvious the direction of the manager, they needed the table. Try being efficient to start instead of creating a rush at the end if overbooked and delayed. It's classier than putting a check on a table with people eating and rudely clearing drinks. Will not be returning. There is better up the road with real management and service.

We were early for our reservation, so the hostess suggested we go to the bar for a drink which was part of our plan. Again, it was evident that they were busy, but no one even looked at us, or made eye contact to even suggest that the intent was to attend to us as soon as they finished their current tasks. As we stood there for a solid 15 minutes, they attended to their regulars and the service bar, but did not acknowledge us. Once our turn finally transpired, we got our drinks, and moments after, we were headed to our table. Our waitress was great which offset the unappealing bar experience. We started with the seafood bisque, muscles, crab parm oyster special, and raw oysters which were great! For my meal, I got the baked crab dish which did have nice pieces of crab meat, but it was bland, and my husband got the steak which was pretty good. We ended with one of their dessert cocktails; we were too full, but they did have a nice dessert selection...... If it wasn't for feeling so awkward while standing on the outskirts of the people seated at the bar and not being acknowledged for quite a while, I may have given one more star. The place is worth a shot though!

Kayla was our server, and we really enjoyed our experience with her. They offered oysters on the half shell which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially since they were perfectly shucked so the tasty brine remained on the shell. I still haven't progressed past their seared scallops, and Kathy once again ordered their broiled seafood combination. Both dishes were delicious, but I'd give the nod to my perfectly seared scallops, crispy edges with a moist interior. As I said before their prices aren't cheap, but I don't mind paying a premium price for consistently delicious dinners. You will not be disappointed. And maybe next time I'll get beyond my scallop fixation.
