Also my curls on the top portion of my hair hair is severely damaged, like pin straight. It seems like it was relaxed. I'm convinced that the nasty smell was indeed a relaxer that wasn't properly washed out. I'm not sure if this is one of those salons that slip relaxer in the shampoo/conditioner or if they just use so much heat without heat protectors and that damaged my hair. But regardless of what it was that damaged my hair, I'm pretty disappointed and won't be coming back. Don't get your hair done here is you're natural.

On Saturday, February 14th, late afternoon, I went in for a manicure and pedicure with clear polish. Within two days, the polish completely came off, the shine disappeared, the nails began cracking, and the edges were sharp. The cuticles on my pinky were left extremely long -- nearly a quarter inch. I specifically asked for my nails to be cut very short, and they were not. When I called to have them corrected, I was told they would only file them, not recut them as requested. During the visit to fix the issue, staff became argumentative and raised their voices. I remained calm and asked them not to yell, but the interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. After the filing, the nails still looked poorly done and continue to cause discomfort. Based on both the quality of service and the way the situation was handled, I cannot recommend this business.
