Found on a whim and had a great experience. I enjoyed the small space and tranquil music and that they only showed videos of beautiful ocean views (vs the news or Bravo etc on sometimes at other salons). Im unsure of my nail techs name but they were able to get me in without an appointment for a regular manicure with only about a 10 minute wait on a Sunday morning. AND my favorite part, it's been over a week and not one chip and this is regular polish! will return.

I recently went in here for an acrylic refill, and the lady at the front desk was rude. I felt bad for the guy who was doing my nails because he didn't speak any English so it's not really his fault. The communication wasn't there. The lady just kept rolling her eyes and telling him what to do. My nails came out very thick and uneven but He barely filed them. She told me it would be $35 and added extra because he Shaved them down a little bit but in reality, I was not happy with the service and she still charged me full price didn't even care to see my nails and how awful they turned out all in all this place is not great. The staff is very rude. read more

Penn has been my little secret for over a year now. I drive from Fort Lauderdale just to see Mai for my dip manicure. I haven't found anywhere that does as good of a job as Mai. She makes my nubs look feminine and she's the sweetest person! The salon is a small family owned place and I highly recommend setting an appointment because she has her loyal clients in regularly. Definitely give Mai and Penn a shot, you won't regret it. read more

Probably the worst pedicure I've ever gotten in my life! Polish was old. Technician did. It know what he was doing. Asked for short nails and not to trim the cuticle..... He just did what he wanted. I was about to move to the area, so went over to this shopping center to see what was there. I needed a gel mani and pedi and saw Penn Nails. I thought I'd give them a chance. Linda gave me one of the BEST gel mani and pedis I've ever had. It even held up during my two-day move! I wore gloves, of course, to protect my hands and nails, but it still held up. I'm so happy my local nail shop is so good! They also took me as a walk-in and were fully booked and busy while I was there. Linda never rushed and took the time to do a fantastic job! They also have a ton of gel colors to choose from. And there massage chairs are super relaxing! read more

I went to the nail salon and I got a pedicure and I don't know everything was really dirty and it was the worst experience that I ever had. They burned my feet and they tried to say because my feet was like that when I walked in, but it wasn't. I still didn't give them a hard time I paid them and I tipped them and they was a mad ones talking about me and I got scarred for life. I will show you the picture. Nobody go. I live out of town and every time I have had a great experience. I would make an appt because when I was there , they were full and could not accept walk ins. My pedicure was relaxing and done well. My toes were meticulously painted and touched up. I would go back again when in town again !! read more

Great place to go! Highly recommend! I used to go to Tina and was shocked when I found she had moved. I tried two other places and ended up back here, and I'm very glad I did! I just relocated from NYC and for days I was searching for a home nail salon , I found this gem. First of all, Tina is the sweetest lady I've ever met. It was like I knew her for years. There are many places in Palm Beach County County for. Nani and Lexi but none compare to Penn Nails. This is a small( ish) family run ( Tina and her mom and dad!!!) small business that is wonderful. It's full service, tine does all sorts of nail technology, gel, dipping, powder, you name it. Mom does fantastic manicures and mom and dad give killer pedicures!! I called this nail salon to see if they can take me in a for gel mani and pedi as I was within the vicinity. They were able to take me not too long after I had called. I have to say this might be one of the BEST gel manis I've gotten and I've been to a handful of places considering I'm for San Francisco/Bay Area. Very nice and hospitable. I've had multiple complain my nails while I've been here. That says a lot. The real test is to see how long my gel lasts. But I'm all for this place. read more

Worst manicure and pedicure ever! Last year was their first year since purchasing the business from Tina and they did a pretty good job. Since then something has happened and the quality and customer service is substandard and not acceptable. I spent over $80 and I'm embarrassed to have anyone see my nails. Never again! read more

I would just recommend this place for a manicure. I would highly recommend it if it were cleaner. The ladies are friendly and know how to take care of nails. I could make it my go to if they cleaned it up. The nail polish bottles should be wiped, the tables should be sparkling, and the equipment should be sanitized. read more

They did an ok job but the gentleman that did my pedicure was rough! I ended up with bruises after my massage. Shop was very old and in disrepair. There was another customer there that was stoned out of her mind and loud and obnoxious. My first time there and wasn't crazy about the experience. Will not be back. read more

Although he did a decent job with the polish. It being a week before thanksgiving, I had a specific design in mind for my manicure. I showed a picture and asked if he could do it before he started. I was guaranteed a yes. The manicure was ok. My problem started as soon as he started polishing. I tried to explain but his English was limited. Another nail tech came over and explained what was needed. He still did not do it. The pictures I uploaded are of the base coat. The first picture is of the design I wanted. Do you see how sloppy and uneven it is? The polish doesn't even extend to the tip of my nail. As soon as I saw this, I asked for the top coat so this can be over. Now for the kicker. The same tech who came over to explain what I wanted took my payment. She asked if I wanted her partner to "fix" my manicure as she saw I didn't get what I wanted. By then I was over it. I said no thanks, just the check please. She continued on explaining that next time I should make an appointment. How he (referring to my nail tech) doesn't know much. I looked at her, confused. Why would a business have someone who is inexperienced or "don't know much" assist a customer who is paying for a service? I was so baffled. I tipped my tech and left. Never ever again.

The colors on their boards look nothing like what they do when applied 4. I had a broken nail which was sensitive and she dug into it and was not gentle at all. I tried to tell her it was broken and I was literally gasping in pain and she thought it was funny. I offered not to write a poor review if I didn't have to pay for this service (which I have never done, anywhere in my life) but it was mostly because I need to go somewhere else and have them redone entirely before going out in public. This result is beyond unacceptable and this place should not get anyone's business. If I could give this a less than 0 rating I would.

I could tell she was pretty tired, but she was still kind with me when I changed my color and even brought me a coffee which I appreciated. The decor was girly and interesting. Salon was very clean and hygienic. So, the overall the experience was fine, but I don't think I'll be going back. Also, I know inflation is real... but $17-$18 for gel paint is a lot to be honest.

This salon is a gem for pedicure lovers! I got a superbly relaxing pedicure from Tiffany, a skilled & polite technician, in a clean environment. Whenever I come to Boynton Beach I always go to Penn Nails to get my feet in pretty, poolside shape. They also offer nail & wax service with convenient hours & prompt service. The owner has been there since 2014 & I hope they will continue this exceptional business. When I move here I plan to become a "regular". Check out this great salon!! read more

Penn Nail is pretty fast and friendly service. Very reasonable pricing. Manicure & pedicures always look great. I have tried 3 other nail salons in the area, my manicures are acrylic, have had issues with nails breaking, lumps, bumps, cracks, etc.. so far I have experienced none of those issues, only long lasting beautiful nails. read more
