Our pup is 11 months and he has been coming here since he was about 5 months old (started in small dog and as made his way to large dog) and our senior dog (almost 12 years old). Prior to getting a second dog and moving to the south we always got someone to watch our dog in house because we weren't far from family but knew we needed a different option. We were extremely hesitant at first, but took them for their evaluation, got a tour of the facility, asked all the questions & it eased our worries. Whenever we take them now the staff know them by name without us saying anything and our dogs are always excited to go there. We also love that we can see the cameras and check in on them during the daytime. We have tried other boarding places but our dogs just seemed a lot happier whenever we took them or picked them up from here. They are also priced well, even offer a second dog discount and our dogs get to sleep in the same kennel which was important to us.

As a result, I felt compelled to update my review to not discourage people from trying Champ Bow Wow. The main disappointment boiled down to not being notified of the situation promptly. The owner ensured that training and procedures would be held to a higher standard moving forward. I understand that dogs can get into scuffles at any time, so in fairness, I think 3 stars is reasonable with the outcome, as well as informing future patrons of ANY boarding/day care facility to take pictures of their baby before leaving them and check their convenient Doggy-Cam.

The staff were super friendly and seemed very experienced. They had to give her a shot and I swear she didn't even noticed that she was given one! At my old vet she use to hiss and growl at this one she actually purred! They gave me some medicine and sent us on our way. Pancakes got so much better and I really have this place to thank! I would also like to add that they were not at all expensive. A total exam, a shot of some medicine to make her eat, an IV since she was dehydrated, and a 30 day supply of pills ran me about $90 which probably would have cost me upwards of $200 or more if I went to the Decatur clinic.

we had a family emergency and needed to leave with a day notice. they were very fast to respond and…read morevery accommodating. when we showed up they were quick to take our dog to the back. they sent an email halfway through her stay updating us on her, letting us know she was happy and having a good time. when we showed up to pick her up she seemed a little out of it, not really acknowledging us when she usually gets super excited. the first thing we noticed was her right eye. it was bloody and almost looked infected, there was yellow pus coming out of her eye. we asked the young girl at the desk what happened and she had no idea. she went to the back to ask someone else what happened and when she came back all she said was "we had a lot of big dogs here today, they were all playing together" we never selected anything involving group play, she is a very friendly dog but as a business you should think about the liability. we never gave any type of permission for group play and to find out the dogs were roughhousing...not a good look. we will not be coming back here and the vet bills WILL be coming to them. (pictures were taken after cleaning up her eye) UPDATE: Terissa called and gave us a more detailed explanation of Harleys stay there. she explained that they have turf in the back and something could've gotten in her eye, that could be the reason for her eye being irritated. she offered to cover vet bills and Harleys stay there. she was definitely very apologetic and we really appreciate her customer service. that is how you do business. thank you Terissa!

I get my two dogs and cat groomed here and they are amazing. Violet and Rose always do such a great…read morejob especially with my bernese mountain dog who always has so much fur and undercoat. I followed Violet from her old location and have been taking my pets to her for years. She is very detail oriented and if she ever sees anything of concern she'll bring it up to me which I really appreciate. She always has the pets wellbeing foremost in her mind and often discusses with me what grooming is right for them rather than just trying to add unnecessary services. They are also very patient with my cat who has definitely scratched them multiple times but they still give their best effort. The office staff are also very nice!

Kyss sent me photos and videos of Ziggy playing and having fun with his new friends - he was having a blast! Kyss was so flexible with my drop off and pick up times. When we got back in town, we unfortunately had to make an unplanned stop on our way home which caused us to postpone Ziggy's pick up until the next morning. Thank goodness it was no problem for Kyss though - she was way cool about it and easily made the adjustment.
