My experience was not good at all. I asked the young man who was about to touch my dough to change his gloves after he was wearing the same gloves to move containers. He says "I just changed them" and I reminded home that was before he went to the back and brought out containers, which he touched. The young lady standing there looked at me and rolled her eyes with disgust. I told her "sanitation matters and he needs to change his gloves before touching the dough." I came here with my friend and he asked about the keto dough and the manager answered him in such a rude and condescending tone. Although the pizza is decent the customer service and sanitation need work. The employees are very passive aggressive. When I came in, I saw my mini cheese pizza sitting out on the counter with a fly flying around it. I watched the fly land on my pizza and a few minutes later watch the girl cut it and put it in the box and even swatted the fly away from my pizza before doing so. There are a lot of kids there that work but this location is often really busy so bring your patience with you. I have noticed some wear the masks and some do not. Tried Your Pie for the first time yesterday. Got the #7 Caprese it was delicious. Daughter got a kids meal, which comes with ice cream! There were no regular flavors like vanilla or chocolate, but there was strawberry, which was super flavorful. I went into Your Pie today and was greeted by a young man name Isaiah behind the counter. Everyone is always nice when I come in but he was exceptional... I follow a strict dietary law as it pertains to my faith which is very important to me... he made sure nothing touched my food wasn't suppose to, he got fresh veggies out the frig when he noticed the main thing I said I can't eat or touch had that very thing in the olives. Let me start by saying I'm never the one to write reviews, I read them and decide from there which way to go. So I hadn't been to this location in awhile and decided to stop in for dinner since I was in the area shopping and still going off of their COVID hours, please keep this in mind as I continue. So I jump in line, order my pizza knowing it'll be an $1 extra for the fresh mozzarella. I've gotten a sprinkle of all cheese, minus the vegan cheese, and three vegetables anytime I've order from Your Pie. If you haven't noticed I'm vegetarian. So I ordered my pizzas, got to the end to pay and the young man tells me $11, I politely ask for what? He states because I put cheese on top, I respond "I'm aware of the $1 extra charge for fresh mozzarella, yet I've never been charge for putting cheese on a veggie pizza." Mind you, the lady in front of me put a whole damn pig on her pizza, and paid $7. I asked to speak to a manager and I'm assuming Deon was the Team Lead and he attitude was horrible. He comes to the register and tells me how all these rules have changed and asked if I wanted to pay for pizza, my response "of course I want to pay for the pizza, yet I wasn't expecting to pay $11 for a pizza I paid $7 for a month ago." He turned around told his employee to mark the pizza a certain way and gave me a card to call corporate. His response "it's one of those numbers on there". So I decided to do one better, not only will I be I contact with corporate yet I'm going to ensure other customers know how I was treated. To the owners of this location, you all shouldn't allow children to run your resturant, for this reason alone I'll be taking my business to Hapeville. As I've stated before I've frequent the resturant before ( I mean flew there three minutes before the door closed and was still treated with respect and served. Guess what I did? I left a decent tip, they take my business up the moment they were closing their doors) and was never treated the I was treated this last experience. I really wish I had gotten her name, very polite young lady (MANAGER) at the front of the house keeping things running smoothly. Deon should definitely be retrained, because the fact that I'm writing a review about cheese on a veggie pizza is very much sad. I said all of this to say this could've been handled in a more professional manner were the restaurant wouldn't have to lost money, a customer, nor waste food and the consumer would've gotten what they needed. Keeping an open line of communication would've gone a very long way in this case. Had the your guy preparing the pizza informed me of the extra charges I would've either A, layered the ingredients were I wouldn't be charged $11 for a personal pizza, or B, simply used mozzarella and called it a day. Yet the fact that this young man allowed a customer to walk out dissatisfied and not care is very much unprofessional. To Your Pie owners, please remember you're surrounded by alot of food, the money I was going to spend with you went down the street to another business. I legit spent double the price, twenty minutes later, so please know money isn't an issue here. It's the way I was handled and trust they'll never get the chance to do that again, welp not to me that is. I can only imagine the amount of people turned away by the customer service. Firstly they rolled out the dough paper thin then took a bowl and put it on top and cut off a good inch of the dough. Then then slathered on the sauce, mangled up fresh mozzarella and a few sprinkles of basil that the staff scraped off his gloves while asking me if it's okay.
