The appetizers were outstanding. Since we were in the south, we had to try the Green Fried Tomatoes, which were good especially with the goat cheese garnishment . The Lobster Deviled Eggs were outstanding also. For entrees, our party had the halibut, the Steak au poivre, (2x, one medium and the other medium well) and the flounder. All of them were excellent, but special remarks must be given to the halibut. It was truly delicious. The deserts were a perfect closure. One negative comment: the wine availability was "meh". We ordered one bottle from the list that was not available. The substitution was ok. The white wine bottle we ordered as the seafood complement was adequate but did not match the otherwise extraordinary quality of everything else. My husband and I ordered the bang bang shrimp and crab cakes for an appetizer. For our meal, we ordered had the shrimp and scallop linguini. Every entree was seasoned really well. I really love this restaurant. I love the fact that the owner walks around to every table in the restaurant, to make sure that everyone is satisfied. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy, we were greeted by Casey. He was very professional, polite well mannered, yet a fun waitor who helped us celebrate the evening. Later on we found out he it was his second week of servicing. He did an excellent job . Explaining and recommended dishes for us, we both were very pleased! The dishes were delicious and had a Cajun influence to them full of flavor which you can be tailored to your liking by leaving the seasoning out or on the side. To top the evening off the staff had all signed a birthday card for my husband which was a special touch that was placed on the table at the start of our night by the host. What a nice touch to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you so much. Definitely will be returning to try other dishes on their menu.
