Among many things that add to the ambience of the restaurant. That said, I wish the aquarium was still operating !

We were in the area visiting friends and ended up at " Your Place Thai Restaurant ". The décoré and ambiance was beautiful with many cues to Thailand and the Thai culture. Still the star of this restaurant is the food...as good as any Thai food I've ever had. Also, the service was fast...the only comment I have about that is everything including our appetizers came at nearly the same time...in short order our table was filled with food! Just something to be aware of if you're accustomed to having appetizers and then waiting a few mins for the entrees...like me. I've visited "Your Place..." but that was many many years ago. I'm glad to learn that they are still here and that the food is reliably good!

Food is excellent, affordable price, come at Christmas, they are so busy!!! Good service and friendly Place is small but their food is my favorite

The pineapple fried rice was delicious! I liked that I could taste the pineapple flavor in every bite. My friend ordered the pad Thai and it was great.

We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and spicy eggplant with tofu. First thing is the interior of the restaurant is not nice looking and a bit out dated. The drunken noodles for ~$20 was just a pile of noodles with barely any chicken and no veggies. They must make a great profit serving plain/bland rice noodles with almost no protein. The eggplant tofu dish was drenched in grease in a pool of oil. This is an expensive place that serves bunch of carbs and oily stuff while skimping on the protein.

We here for dinner on a weekday , close to closing timing. And they seated us right away. As vegetarians we tried the following : Drunken Noodles : 4/5. This had some good flavor. Vegetarian fried rice : 4/5. This was tasty as well. Garlic tofu with broccoli : 5/5. This is the best tofu I have had in a while. Tofu had some really good seasoning.

Unfortunately this place the last few times has gone downhill. The service is a little rude. Food quality is not what it used to be. Seems like they don't care as much. Sad to say but probably won't be coming back here

Summary: - Use the restaurant's website for reference photos instead of Yelp/Google's - Food: delicious, flavorful - Ambiance: charming & lively decor, reminds me of Thailand - Service: Attentive, food came out quickly - Thai & family owned Food (pictured): - Pad thai + chicken (4.5/5) - Spicy eggplant with basil + beef (4/5); ask for their sauces, it helped elevate the beef - Garlic almond shrimp (5/5); garlic fans will love this - Mango sticky rice (4.5/5) Food not pictured: - Pa-nang curry (4/5) - Seafood soup (3.5); broth needed more fish sauce/seafood flavor

Our go-to restaurant when we stop by the Santa Barbara area. No wait when we came noon on Sunday. Staff here are friendly and patient. They are understanding of dietary restrictions. Food came really quick within 5-10 minutes. Every dish is packed with flavor. One of my favorite dishes has to be the garlic fish which has a lot of fried garlic on top of crispy battered fish fillet. Eating it with the lettuce leaves makes it some healthy, I say to myself. Would definitely recommend to friends and families who are visiting the SB area!

They offer Thai dishes including noodle bowls, small plates, and handmade dumplings. We got the Northern Thailand Curry Noodles "Khao Soi" and the Tom Yum Noodles. The Khao Soi had egg noodles and chicken in a curry base broth with coconut milk, fish sauce, pickled mustard greens, cilantro, green onions, and housemade chili oil. They also give you crispy egg noodles to put on top. I appreciated that they wrapped this separately in foil, so they didn't get soggy right away! The chicken pieces were quite large, but overall the broth was tasty! I enjoyed the Tom Yum Noodles! For these, they use flat wheat noodles with Thai chili paste, bunashimeji mushrooms, white button mushrooms, fish sauce, red jalapeño, galangal herb, makrut lime leaves, lemongrass, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. I chose chicken for my protein. The tom yum flavor really came through! They also give a pretty big portion! Since they are located in a food hall, you can sit at any of the tables. Empty Bowl will give you a pager, so you know when to return to the counter to pick up your food.

Located at the very end of the SB Public Market and right next to Cooneys bar. Their menu offers chicken, pork, beef and tofu Bánh Mi, as well as meat skewers, stir fry and salads. Just to name a few. I've tried the chicken and beef skewers which comes in the Hungry Box. I subbed two of the skewers for beef, but in all honesty the beef was too too tough to break down. My one pet peeve is meat that is chewy, dry and too tough to eat. Although it was flavorful, but I wouldn't order it again. I did enjoy the chicken skewer though! The Hungry Box also comes with rice and a salad. Both of which were simple but a nice compliment to the skewers. On my recent visit I ordered the Buffalo wings. They were delicious! I appreciate that the sauce wasn't too spicy. I haven't had buffalo wings in a long time and these really hit the spot! The French fries were also good and not too salty. Overall, three monkeys is worth checking out if you're visiting the public market. Customer service is fast and efficient.

Service isn't really a thing SBPM since it's a walk up to order and then pick it up when your buzzer goes off, but we liked the comfortable and casual setup. We ordered the Hungry Box #1 with chicken and a chicken bahn mi, and both were very good. The chicken was the same in both meals, and it was well seasoned and nicely grilled, but still juicy. The salad with the box and the pickled veggies in the bahn mi were fresh and crisp too. Just a comment on the bahn mi is there the ratio of bread to filling in the bahn mi was just a little too much bread. Overall though, it we enjoyed it and it made for a very nice meal.

We tried the garlic noodles, spicy beef noodles, popcorn chicken, and corn dumplings. The garlic noodles were creamy and the spicy noodles had good flavor, but the dishes overall felt a bit underwhelming. The service was friendly and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, which we appreciated. The restaurant had a relaxed, casual atmosphere that made it a comfortable place to grab a meal, but was super packed for a weekday.
