I was headed out of town on business before the salon would be open again. Meeting my new co-workers next week- I needed cut and highlights today. As I as working to identify possible salons to call, I remembered Dellaria. I had several facials there in the past. I called (great hours- open 7am daily, a little later Sun, and closed Mon). They made me an afternoon appt. with Yelena-her only open slot. I arrived armed with photos and some specifics from my stylist. I hadn't had anyone else touch my hair in 10+ years. I just hoped for some decent highlights and cut- didn't need to be exactly like my previous cut/highlights for me to be happy. Yelena did a fabulous job- she listened, asked questions, and looked at my photos. Very happy with my highlights and cut-great experience. Busy salon- many stylists and stations. I highly recommend.

She also gave me a trim, and really listened to me about how much to cut off. I went back to Andrea to color my roots and it came out great. Andrea wasn't available 1 time, so Leah colored my roots and did an amazing job. After that, Aimes gave me a beautiful blowout. I'm happy with everything at this salon. I had been a loyal, long-time customer and put plenty of money into this business over the years. Apparently, that loyalty means absolutely nothing to the owner, Pat. Right before I was leaving for a work trip, one of the stylists made a mistake with my hair. I was traveling the very next day, so I called Pat hoping she might show even the slightest concern and find a way to squeeze me in for a quick emergency touch-up. Instead of trying to help fix a mistake made by HER salon, Pat somehow managed to turn the situation around on me and accuse ME--the paying customer--of being disrespectful. There was no meaningful attempt to find a solution, no concern that I was leaving for a work trip the following day, and seemingly zero appreciation for the fact that I had supported her business for YEARS. The conversation ultimately ended with Pat hanging up on me. That tells you everything you need to know about how this business treats customers when something actually goes wrong. It's easy to take someone's money when everything is going smoothly. The true measure of a business is how it responds when it makes a mistake. In my experience, Pat's response was to become defensive, blame the customer, offer no meaningful solution, and hang up the phone. After years of giving this salon my business, I discovered exactly how little my loyalty was worth to them. If this is how a long-time customer is treated over a problem the salon itself created, imagine how you'll be treated when you have an issue. There are plenty of salons that actually value their customers and understand what customer service means. Spend your money at one of them. I certainly wish I had. I will never give this business another dollar.
