I can't say enough good things about this company. Greer, Scott, and Matt have been absolutely wonderful with our French Bulldog puppy Gus. Gus loves them and was sitting, lying down, learning to "shake," and playing nicely after two visits! My boyfriend and I both work in the service industry and it's AMAZING to be able to leave for the evening knowing that YSP is coming to hang with Gus while we're gone-- he's always worn out and happy with a full tummy when we come home. Best place ever. I don't know what I'd do without them. They've been walking and sitting for my dog for over a year. All of the staff are genuine animal lovers and pretty cool people to boot. When they take care of my dog when I'm away they treat him like he's a part of their family and he gets to sleep in their bed with them at night, play with their dog, etc. They email me pictures and updates so I don't worry. I can leave knowing that my baby dog is in the best possible hands. The walkers are really excellent too. They leave a note every time they come giving a brief description of the walk. I was burned by a dog walker that wasn't showing up but was still taking my money, so the note thing really puts my mind at ease. Use them you'll love them and so will your dog!! read more

I've been taking Louie to YSP's day care for over than six months now. Today I arrived there and saw one of their employees petting my dog with as much love as we would do it. So touching! And it has been always like that. Louie is a dog who is a little scared of people but their employees always showed so much care and affection for him that he absolutely loves going there. I highly recommend YSP!! This boarding and daycare facility was recommended to me by my dog walker. As soon as I walked in for my dog's initial evaluation I was very impressed. Scott the owner was very welcoming and professional. My dog was understandably nervous but he knew exactly how to interact with her to calm her down. They took wonderful care of her while I was away on vacation. They provided detailed updates of how she was eating, sleeping, and interacting with the staff and other dogs. They even provided a detailed report card which was emailed to me. They have a beautiful facility with an outdoor space. You are lucky to live close to here. I go here for the doggie daycare. These guys are the best, and care an awful lot. My only complaint was that it took a long time to get all of the shots and veterinarian records straight - which now, I feel great about, because I want my dog to be safe... I don't know what your dog has:) I would say that the thing I like most is that my little pup sleeps the entire next day, a real value if you think about it, 2 for 1. My dog loves this place too, if I walk him by here, he goes nuts and thinks he's in for a day of play. Pro Tip: Lady Jays (across the street) is a bar that is cool with dogs. This is an easy review! 100% 5 stars, I'd gladly give 10 if I could! My 6 month old puppy Rodney LOVES this place and I do too. He's extremely active and can be very hyper at times but every evening when I pick him up from here, he is exhausted, so tired that he sleeps all the way home in the car!! This works out great for me as I am 5 months pregnant so I am exhausted at that time too... He is a lot calmer in the house now since he has been going to day care! your spoiled pets should hands down be your choice for daycare and boarding. we even talk about the lengths we'd have to go to get our dogs to YSP if we moved neighborhoods - we wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else! one of our dogs is a very scared rescue dog, and when we first got him, we didn't know if anyone would be willing to walk him because he's very difficult. the YSP team agreed to walk him, and he loved them! both dogs go to daycare too, and they've learned what the word means and freak out with excitement when we say we're going to daycare :) YSP is 100% the only place we would trust to board our dogs when we're away - they send updates with pics and whatnot so you can see what your dog has been up to, which i love!  it truly feels like a family, greer and scott are amazing and really care! tara is amazing too!! also, my best friend's cat had a crazy health scare the morning that we were boarding a flight to israel, and she needed to find someone to take care of him while we were away. YSP quickly agreed and administered all of his meds while we were gone, so they're great with cats too! read more

Love these guys ! We were nervous to leave our beloved kitty when we travelled and are so happy we found YSP. We been got an initial personal visit from the owner and have since had perfect care from all their sitters. Dexter is my spoiled little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he is treated like a little prince at Your Spoiled Pets. He is a very needy pup by nature and they take care of him very lovingly. They know his breed and he always comes home happy and then tired! They worked with me because there was another spot( down the street ) that rejected him because of barking. I mean, cmon at least give the dog a few hours before making me leave work and come get him. On the other hand, Your Spoiled Pets understood dogs will bark (i.e. Be dogs) and actually know the different breeds, their needs and habits. These guys are the most caring, awesome pet helpers ever--from the walkers to the walk-scheduler right up to the owners. We had a very elderly dog who they cared for and gave special attention up until her last days. On several occasions we had last minute walking requests and they always jumped in to make sure our old girl was well-cared for. They have even helped me out when I locked myself out the apartment! Our family dog has been going to YSP for about a year now. If you live near the doggie daycare it's hard not to notice its funny aquarium-like setup with dogs running up and down a ramp to catch a peek at sidewalk gawkers. Not only does my dog spazz-out (in a good way) as we approach YSP for a day of doggie daycare when we feel he needs to burn off some energy, but I truly adore the owners Greer and Scott, a young married couple with a passion for pet care. We have also boarded our dog with them twice and felt like we were lucky to have our pet in such good hands. Dogs board at their home and come to daycare during the day. Each and every dog gets wonderful attention and all are known by name. They also take excellent care of the hygiene, cleanliness and safety of the animals. I was a little nervous prior to bringing my puppy here as she is only 4 months old and was worried she may be a little too young around the other dogs. If there were more stars, I would give them all to Your Spoiled Pets. I boarded my dog, Sasha here for almost two weeks and can't say enough about the outstanding care she received. The staff genuinely care about dogs, as do the owners. YSP emailed me updates on Sasha including pics, which was fantastic. After several days at YSP, Sasha developed medical issues (not related to YSP), and the owners began communicating with me immediately. They facilitated visits to the vet, kept me informed and were very reassuring. The owners are very involved and even opened their home to Sasha since she required a cone and some extra care. Their professionalism and caring beyond exceeded my expectations. Words can not express how grateful I am to Greer, Scott and the whole YSP team. This is truly an amazing place, and the only place I would trust to leave Sasha. If you want to be at ease while away from your pet, this is the place for you. I LOVE YSP!!!! read more

Flexible, professional and when I came home yesterday after my Cane Corso's first dog walking with Nick I was so very pleased! My dog was clearly so happy... jumping around telling me he'd had a friendly visitor. There was a nice report card which was thoughtful and informative. They walk another dog in my building too. Thanks Nick ! Also, they accommodated us last minute over Christmas holidays with boarding Marcus for a week... last minute down-to-the-wire vet documents (honestly my part bordering on unreasonable) and my chaos was met with helpful, kind words and professional demeanor. We got pics and updates while away and were very grateful for that too. We also didn't have enough dog food (again we were not easy customers despite wanting to be!) so had food delivered there and they were so understanding and get an A++ for attitude. We even forgot to pick up that dog food and they kept it for us for a week. I'm looking forward to a long working relationship with this well run business. read more

I can't believe its taken me this long to write a review for YSP but if you are looking for a wonderful, reliable, and friendly dog walking/doggy day care service than look no further. We did a lot of comparison shopping between all the dog walkers in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg and they came out to be right in the middle/lower end of pricing with the best reputation. Since we got our Frenchie, Queso, in September of 2015 we've used YSP exclusively for dog walking and almost exclusively for doggy daycare. Everyone we've encountered with the company has been super professional, caring, and easy to work with. They respond extremely fast to emails, have no problem working with hectic schedules, and never miss a beat with the change to our routine. We get the most adorable notes every day from the dog walkers (we've had about 3 regular people since we started - all have been phenomenal) and you can tell they are truly dog lovers. When it came time for our first long trip over the holidays where we needed to board Queso, we had him at YSP (who also was very patient with our never ending saga of health issues/potential changes with Queso) and he had a wonderful time. We received periodic updates and pictures. We are so thankful for YSP and as long as we live in the neighborhood they will be our regular walkers for Queso. read more

I first met the owners of Your Spoiled Pets via their other business, a vintage furniture, jewelry and clothing atelier. As in both businesses, the owners are exceptionally service oriented -- personal, tailored, detailed and hands on. My dog, a nine year old long-haired chihuahua I adopted, is a very aggressive and difficult dog. Three trainers and nothing changes the effects of the trauma she experienced during her formative years. She's great with me, and though I am lucky to work from home, there are times when I've needed the services of YSP. In my particular case, the owners handled my needs directly. From walking my dog when the discs in my back went out, to checking in on her when I need to run lengthy errands, YSP is committed to working with dogs (all pets in fact) and their owners to create the best service relationship possible. YSP is the best! We visited Brooklyn for a long weekend and couldn't bear leaving our fur baby, Fletcher, at home. We decided to bring him on the long road trip and put him in daycare with YSP. He was shy at first, but the handlers were so gentle and patient. By the second day, he was pulling me to get to daycare. YSP owners Greer and Scott really are as good as it gets. Both true dog whisperers in my opinion. Here's our story; we rescue a poor old bulldog mix ( looks a bit like a pitbull) that has been in a shelter for 3 years. We both work so we need daytime dogwalking. I call Scott the day we get the Tinker home, he comes the next day (Sunday) is very professional meets the new arrival and agrees to walk him. Neither of us know what the dog is really like, though he does seem very good with people. Over the last year and a bit - they have worked through Tinker's issues with us, skateboard anxiety, a couple of difficult incidents and now our dog is well adjusted, lives in the house not crated and is the love of our lives. I don't think we could have done it without them, we have worked through stuff and this is the testament to a good relationship. YSP has been our dog walking service for the last two years and we are so grateful that they exist! They helped us with our puppy, Darby, when he first came home to us as a little 8-week old - gave us tips and helped make sure that they were helping train him as we were training him. Our pup Stevie is shy around other dogs--we thought daycare would be a great way for her to spend extended periods of time around other pups and start warming up to them--so we were ecstatic to find that YSP opened up shop in our neighborhood! Our girl has been visiting about once a week for the last few months and has *slowly* been learning to play with her new furry friends (though she may spend most of her time trying to clamber up onto the nearest human's lap)! The entire YSP team has been so friendly to us and so lovely with Stevie--each and every time she is greeted with so much enthusiasm and joy. Love the whole team here. We've used them for dog walking, daycare and now boarding. Our little guy is obsessed with people, and these guys give him the attention he wants and needs. They updated us frequently throughout the visit with how our dog, Farley, was doing. He was a little nervous at first with all the dogs since daycare isn't a regular thing for him, but they did everything they could to make him comfortable (including cuddling him at night!). I also love that they have a back-up harness system for walks so there is no way dogs can get off-leash. Safety and happiness of the dogs is top-priority, which makes it easy to travel without worrying. Highly recommend!!! read more

I returned from vacation to a perfectly content cat, which is highly unusual for Lois who can get anxious when I'm gone. They clearly took good care of her. The people at Your Spoiled Pet take their job seriously, but also seem to really enjoy it. They gave lots of attention: playing, brushing, treats. They even accommodated a last minute need for an additional visit due to a flight delay. I received daily updates with pictures and immediate replies to any questions. This was the second time I used them. The first was for a nearly two week trip and this one was a 6 day trip. Lois was very happy both times. I did visit their store front before the first time to check them out. When I saw the staff frolicking with the doggy day care dogs, I knew I was making a good choice. Highly recommended!! read more
