Anywho, I attempted to reach out to this business via their website but their system redirects to your personal mail and the form on the site itself refreshes. I sent my initial email on a Wednesday, after hours. Received an automated message the same date and so I waited. I realized at almost 2 weeks later I never got a follow up from them. Unfortunately or fortunately my pet never got to experience their service and so I can't say how they fair. Overall experiences like this are always red flags so goood luck if u do get a response. read more

Mobile Mutts have completely redeemed themselves since the incidence in my last review. Our new walker, Ben, is respectful, always on time, writes detailed notes on our dog, and based on my continuous "spying" through the camera, he does everything the owner promised - follow the instructions we left with them regarding shoes, treats, wipes for paws, towel on a rainy day, etc. I also cannot stress more how responsive and flexible they are. Things come up during the week and sometimes I make last minute request for cancellations or additional walks. They are always able to accommodate as long as it's not too late. I don't have enough nice things to say about Mobile Mutts. They are professional, considerate, and they put my dogs care first. My pup, Buffy suffers from terrible noise phobia and just general anxiety, her consistent walker over the last year has been Kirby who treats Buffy like her very own. She shows up everyday and greets Buffy with warmth even if Buffy is scared. She even walks her a block away from the apartment before she has her begin walking so she doesn't get scared. Everyday they finish their walk with a treat and an amazing report on Buffy for the day. The service is incredible and my partner and I are moving but if we weren't we would undoubtedly continue to use Mobile Mutts. read more

Mobile Mutts has always delivered exceptional service. Our dog is a bit afraid of new people, so as much as they can, they keep the same walker coming every day. But because of this, they also routinely introduce new walkers in case Ben is sick or out of town. We know Kenzi loves her walks because whenever we're walking her and she sees Ben, she cries in excitement and pulls to get closer to him. It is easy to schedule or cancel walks via email or using their log in portal. Seems from other reviews that they'd be a good choice for dogs. Much better options out there for cats. So, when my girlfriend and I moved in together, my girlfriend's cat was part of the bargain. Rhetorically, I hate that stupid cat. Ignore the fact that I buy the cat all kinds of toys constantly and am always playing with her. In any event, it's my job to find the cat sitter when we go on vacation. These folks are not the ones to choose. Sitter left the lights on the whole time, didn't really clean around the litter box at all (which meant the floors throughout the apartment were brutal when we got back). And if you don't use the service for a month or two, they deactivate your account for some reason, which kind of goes to the point that these folks are a dog-walking service who decided they ought to add a cat option. Communication between the many different sitters is also not good. First time we used them, the guy killed our few plants by overwatering them to the point that a ton of mold was growing in the pots. Our fault, we figured, not really fair to just say "please water the plans." Second time, we set the plants we have out on our kitchen counter and left instructions for each of them right next to them. Not sure if the first sitter read them and then threw them out or exactly what happened, but it was pretty clear the second person never saw or knew about them. Not sure about this one, but it also didn't seem from the e-mails that the sitter was making any effort to try get the cat to start to get used to him enough to play with him (said cat is admittedly super super scared of everything, so this is a challenge). Don't get me wrong, I did not sign up for the job of cleaning up after someone else's cat or trying to get a cat who doesn't know me to play with me!!! But these guys charge quite a bit more than other services with equally high ratings, so the whole thing was disappointing. Again, the other reviews make clear that these folks are great for dogs. Hard pass for cats, though. read more

I used Mobile Mutts for the 4 years I lived in their service area. My dog has special needs--he's a rescue, and doesn't trust new people easily. It will take several weeks of patient visits before he trusts a walker enough to leave with them. He is also on the older side, so he can't walk with an energetic group. Everyone who worked for Mobile Mutts exhibited endless, compassionate patience with my pup (and with me!). On extra cold or hot days, when my dog couldn't tolerate too much time outdoors, they would take him out quickly and then visit with him indoors for the rest of his 30 minute time slot. After I moved to another area of Brooklyn, I realized exactly how rare their service level was. We were rejected by multiple Brooklyn dog walking services for our special needs. I'm fortunate that now, I can take care of him myself, but my first choice after me would always be Mobile Mutts! read more

Mobile Mutts came recommended to me by a friend when I adopted my little puppers about a year ago, and I could not be happier! At the beginning, one of my lil buds was having some trust and some gastrointestinal issues, and the walkers could not have handled his adjustment hiccups better. They always let me know if there was a problem - they will email you directly when anything out of the ordinary happens (they always leave you a handwritten note after each walk - but they'll send a note directly if needed) and always cleaned up the mess in the house when he made one. I also had their walker stay overnight when everyone I would have asked to look after them was away at the same destination wedding with me, and I could tell the pups had a great time (I didn't get as enthusiastic a greeting when I came back!) These guys are true animal lovers, and utterly dependable. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

My work schedule varies day-to-day and i found it very hard to find a dog walking service that didn't require you to have a set number/specific days/times every week. Mobile Mutts is not only convenient(you can schedule all of your appointments online) but they're also reliable! On more than one instance, I've had to book last minute and they have never not been able to accommodate. I love that they leave a "daily poop" report giving updates of my pup's walk! Our walker is Alison, and all of her notes are extremely personalized and her comments are so descriptive of my dog and his personality, that it's obvious she knows my little man pretty well. Not only does she comment on his quirky personality/love for wearing sweaters, but also let's me know important things-- i.e. she noticed while on a walk that he was favoring a paw and made sure it was brought to my attention. I have yet to use their cat or dog sitting, but just knowing that they also provide those services, gives me comfort to know that if I ever needed them, I know I could trust them to provide good care. Highly recommend! I've used Mobile Mutts twice for cat sitting, and have been very pleased, especially since this is my first time using a company instead of friends. The notes left were kind and positive even though I have a "difficult" cat. They send an email update on the last visit, which I love. Scheduling and payment online is easy too. Rates are online as well. If you're able to leave your keys with MM, that would be best. My landlords won't allow us to make a copy of the building door key, so every time I have to have the sitter drop by prior to my trip to get the keys (which is no charge, I just assume it's a pain for them.) UPDATE: I've used MM several times now for longer vacations. Leslie is so nice and writes sweet notes about my cat and gives her attention. The cat even let Leslie pet her, which is basically a miracle. On vacation, I emailed MM to get an update in the middle and they responded right away. I didn't leave enough food for the last day (oops) and they contacted me and offered to buy food and charge my account. Top notch service, couldn't be more pleased! read more

Tak is an amazing walker, I first met him in the neighborhood walking other dogs and I was very impressed on how kind and patient he was. Best cat sitters ever! I've been using Mobile Mutts for a year, since last Christmas when all my usual catsitting friends were out of town and I went looking for a new catsitter at the last minute. Mobile Mutts were able to fit me in and I was so glad they did! They are reliable and take such good care of my three cats when I'm gone. One is a "special needs" cat with cerebellar hypoplasia, meaning he has difficulty getting around and can get a little messy when using the litter box. They have no problem taking care of him and doing what it takes to keep him clean and happy. The notes the sitters leave each day are always so sweet and positive--they love my kitties and my kitties love them right back. When I'm gone longer than 3 days they send me emails and pictures updating me on how everyone is doing, which I really appreciate. Plus, the scheduling and payment online couldn't be easier. Our walker and substitute walker are both really pleasant and the dogs get so excited when we see either of them, so I know they are kind to our pups. I also know that the walks are long enough, because the dogs usually don't have to go urgently when I get home from work. Equally important and what I think deserves more praise is the administrative system Mobile Mutts has set up: I have been able to request and cancel visits even the same day when my schedule gets insane, and they have accommodated me to make sure the dogs don't bear the brunt of my work life. While I don't make a habit of doing this to the admin staff, I just can't express fully my relief that I have this option. It feels like I have a team of people helping me out with the dogs and making sure they don't get forgotten or ignored. My dogs have never been healthier or happier.
