I am not a normal mani-pedi type of person, so I cannot comment on the finer points of their craft. But I went in to get cleaned up after a rather gruesome hand surgery and they were amazing. My nail tech was sweet and communicative and gentle and accommodating. Completely unfazed by my hand gore and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable throughout. The place is hella clean (they have an an autoclave) and the ambiance is relaxed and I am pretty happy it exists. read more

Last time I came to get my nails done here, the paint stayed on for 5 weeks before it chipped! No joke! They sat me under the UV light for a good 15 minutes but it was worth it. I had been searching for a salon in the neighborhood that was fresh/clean couples with great services. There are about 5 or 6 salons on my block but they are scary to even walk past let alone step inside. My prayers were answered when I found this salon via a Yelp search. It's new place (just 2 months open) and it still has the new store smell which is a major bonus. I almost want to keep it all to myself, but it would be a miscarriage of justice for me to deny someone searching for a good spa. Firstly, this seems to be a "by appointment" salon. I didn't know that when I went in. I came in need of a mani/pedi and I was very happy with the results. My manicurist was very sweet and kind. She took her time and was very thorough. I almost fell asleep in the chair as my feet were soaking. It was also very nice to have pleasant conversation with my manicurist. One thing I would suggest to bring cash to tip your manicurist. You can tip with your card but I got the sense it's better for them to get cash. My only critique was that I noticed there were flies buzzing around, and it was a bit distracting at time because I hate flies but the owners was trying to swat them so at least she's aware and is dealing with it. This is most definitely my new nail spa and I couldn't be more thrilled. read more

My roommate and I frequently come to this nail salon because the staff, the environment, and the quality are unmatched in this area. They have a great selection of colors, including standard polish, SNS powder, and gel. The waxing is also excellent, and done in a very clean environment. I was there to remove SNS and get gel, but the style of this place is very strange and I ended up just removing my SNS. The salons I go to do not charge to remove SNS if you are getting your nails redone right there (good customer service). But this place uses the slowest technic and charges to do it even if you are getting your nails done there right after. Also, I asked if they did it by soaking my nails in a bowl with hot water on a larger bowl but one of the employees made a snarky comment about it being more expensive like I couldn't pay for it--All I could do was laugh at the lack of decency and good customs. Sofia was nice and too shy to answer anything herself, but whatever, I gave her a 50%tip because at least she was decent. When she found the gel I wanted I asked if she would let me file my nails myself because some of my nails are crooked and I like to do it myself so I don't have to come home to fix them anyway, but she said no so that's why I only got the SNS removed. I thought about doing a normal manicure, but they add solvents to the non gel colors and that is not good for nails. Bottomline: I won't be going to this place again and it's a shame because I work 2 blocks from there and sometimes it's convenient. It took 40 minutes for them to remove the SNS! RIDICULOUS! Whenever I stay in Bushwick with my bestie (I am a former New Yorker, now living back in my hometown of Nashville, TN), I always come here. They do excellent SNS powder nails, as well as pedicures. Their SNS lasts! My nails rarely get cracks and, as your nails grow longer, there are no noticeable gaps at the bottom of your nail bed and the SNS coating. She was in a rush and did a very bad job, was in a terrible mood, complaining about everything - she threw away my stuff next to me when I finished, no complimentary quick back massage - and left. I have been here 3+ times and keep being disappointed. I wanted to give it a shot because it's local but I don't think I will be coming again. This current time, I have been sitting at the pedicure station waiting, there is some jelly in the bowl but no water and nobody has communicated what is happening. In the past my nails have been crooked, they have put an uneven amount of coats in each hand and the experience is overall sloppy. I stopped into this nail salon yesterday to see about getting tips done. One of the workers let me know that the technician who does tips for your nails will be there the following day and to call and make an appointment, which I did. When I arrived Maria ( who does Tips)seemed nice but a bit nervous. I asked her if she worked at any other salons in the area and she said Manhattan in Gramacy Park, and I said "oh where "and she basically told me around 30th St. something around there. Which I thought was odd that she wouldn't just give me the name of the salon that she works at in the city as I am trying to find a nail technician that I can go to in Brooklyn and in Manhattan. Before she started I let her know that I had thin nail beds and to not use the electric file on my nails, she said they don't have electric tools. I thought that was odd. But ok ‍ I look up and when I felt a clip notice that she clipped my thumb nail super short and she said she had to redo that one. Weird but ok. She starts to manually file the tips to blend them with my nail and then filed so much that my pinky nail cracked all the way across in the middle almost bleeding. Then she took cotton and dipped in something- alcohol or acetone to try to wipe the tip off and burned the hell out of my finger - after I had JUST told her it was about to bleed. As she is working on the other nails she has me check the shape multiple times! THEY WERE ALL DIFFERENT widths and not in unison. Each time the nails were shaped wrong- curved on one side of the nail and straight on the other side (as I had requested coffin shape). 2 hours in and she is still filling and trying her best to make them all look the same. I even took a Pen and drew on a paper towel to show her how she was filling them crooked. Then she offered to cut them. THATS WHEN I STOPPED HER. I had enough. She didn't seem skilled at all. The last thing I wanted was to sit there as she ruined them even more by trying to clip them. I told her not to polish them and that I was just gonna pay and go. She only charged me $12 (the manicure price) but now my pinky finger is gonna take at least a week to heal before I can polish it. I asked to see her Tech License and took a pic of it and the two on the wall-which was the other woman - who then got mad at me!!! Saying - I told you yesterday to not get acrylic and we don't do acrylic- CRAZY ! THIS IS THE SAME WOMAN WHO TOLD ME TO COME TODAY AND GET THEM DONE BY MARIA! I had to check her and verbally correct her (and ask this other woman)why she was mad at me? Like I did something to her? WTF. So rude!!! Then she shut her mouth. Im the one late for my event and have no pinky nail and no nail polish! AND I EVEN OFFERED TO PAY!!! Anyone else would have left without paying or offering. NEVER AGAIN. All the technicians are highly skilled, courteous and great conversationalists as well. I have frequented nail salons all over the NYC area and this place surpasses all of them. It's a competitively priced $35 for the Mon-Wed mani/pedi special. They also offer spa manis and pedis, waxing services and chair massage. I'm thrilled by the high quality services and impressive service features. The jelly pedicure which is included in the $30 pedi price has been sold to me for $55 in the city. I don't get my nails done regularly, but I have been coming here occasionally for a couple years and have never been disappointed! Every tech does an excellent job. I've have a few pedicures which were great and the gel manicures last almost three weeks without chipping or peeling. They listen to requests on shape and do a great job accommodating even when the length of some nails makes it difficult. I usually make an appointment and have never had to wait unlike some salons where there is still a wait with appointments. I highly recommend this salon! read more

I didn't want to write a review because I didn't want more people coming here and making them more busy but they deserve it. They practice COVID19 safety as much as you can in a nail salon. Every nail tech is very skilled, each time I go I'm more pleased than the last time. Carmen, Sophia and I think her name is Christina have all done my nails and they were all great. I used to go to Perfect Nail & Spa which is another very busy and popular salon but this salon surpasses them when it comes to cleanliness, customer service and technique. I get SNS and I appreciate that they don't use electric nail files which is very damaging for your natural nails, they don't use a new container for dipping but I'm sure they would if you asked. The only negative things I would say aside from not using a separate dip powder container is that they tend to make my cuticles bleed or accidentally clip my skin but other than that my nails always look great.
