Very experienced. She's got a couch at the entrance -- if you walk in and she's helping someone just sit down for a second! It was my first time bringing any clothing to someone for tailoring and she did not make me feel stupid or anything. She was honest about what she could or could not do, and what was best. I guess people expect this woman to wipe their ass for them when they walk in there. I have never found her to be rude, and she has never once yelled. She's simply quiet, and very busy. She does tremendous work, and has always smiled after I tell her thank you. Understand that she's working when you walk in, if you sit down and wait, she will get to you when she's finished. I've been going to Your Tailor Shop for almost 15 years. Being only 4'10" the majority of my clothes needed tailored. There is not a pair of pants that I could just wear off the shelf including petites so the majority of my life I've needed a tailor. Ive been to so many tailors from those who work out of their home to larger establishments and in between. This has been the best tailor and I never turned back. The tailor knows her stuff when it comes to tailoring. She will consult you on what can and can't be done, best length for pants, etc. she takes pride in her work to ensure clothes come back to you just as you would buy it off the rack. I've even had her take in all of my pants and skirts when I lost 30 lbs.! It was cheaper than having to buy a new waredrobe and my clothes came out perfect. The lady that owns/manages and is the tailor is very rude and always in a bad mood. Very unfriendly. She recently insulted my wife. My wife kindly asked her to consider a simple placement of a dart on the back of a jacket and the tailor replied asking my wife if she thinks she is stupid. Unbelievable. Uncertain why she is mad at the world, but if you can find another tailor like we have, the customer experience is equally important and "Your Tailor" has no regard for the customer. read more

I don't think I have ever met a business owner this rude! I came in to get a quote on taking in a dress. I knew this was going to be a weird interaction as soon as I walked in. She just sat there, about 50' away at her desk and looked at me without saying anything. Like I just walked into her living room without permission. I brought in a dress with heavy beading around the waist. I just wanted her to take in the first couple of inches on the 8" side zipper because the bust was just a little loose. As soon as she saw the beading she exclaimed, "I don't work with beads!." I said, "I don't need you to touch the beads, that's not where the dress is big." She just continued repeating that she doesn't work with beads over and over again. I still don't understand why she couldn't just open the first 2-3" of the zipper and take it in without touching the beads that were 6" lower. Perhaps if she explained it to me I wouldn't give her such terrible review. I had two dresses with me, the second one just needed to be shortened. Before I could even move to asking her about the second dress, she just turned around and walked away from me. I had to call her back to give me a quote. I just don't get it. I'm trying to give you money for the services you provide which is, I think, the goal of pretty much any business. Good luck with your shitty business. read more

I went to have a button of my jacket fixed. She said she had to fix two, and gave me a receipt for $5. I asked why, since last week she charged $1 for one button. She took the ticket from my hand, and very disrespectfully told me to find someone else. So I took her advise, and found a nice taylor who charged me $2 for the only button that needed to be fixed. read more
