Been passing this place for quite some time and finally got the opportunity to come in and eat. Early dinner on a Saturday and the place was moderately busy. It's got an old feel to it, but also modern. Hard to pin down. It was loud at medium capacity, can't imagine when the place is hopping. The server was fine, but he took forever with the refills. The food was good, nothing to knock my socks off. Part of my giving a four star is because I hate when places don't include fries with burgers and sandwiches. You're charging $14 or more dollars for a sandwich or a burger, you could at least put a handful of fries with it and not charge me another $5 for it. Sorry for my rant. I would eat here again, but it's 40+ minutes from my house, so I don't know when that will be. read more

Stopped in after an appointment, was a gorgeous day we sat in the inclosed patio. The server came right to our table brought us menu's , my Mother in law had the chicken wrap and the large order of onion rings which were cooked nicely. I had the spinach salad that was delicious. I met friends here for breakfast recently. The service was great and got a cup of coffee right away. I ordered the Palermo which is an omelette with Italian sausage, green peppers and mozzarella cheese. It was good and was served with hash browns. The ambience was good and we were able to talk to each other with a minimal amount of noise. I would not hesitate to come back. read more

Excellent service here! The menu is very extensive & breakfast items are served all day too. The staff kept our coffee & water glasses filled. The fruit was super fresh & tasted great. I also ordered a breakfast with eggs, Canadian bacon, hash browns, & gluten free toast. The eggs were cooked just like how I prefer them. Loved the Canadian bacon and hash browns. Rubbery uncooked bacon with specific request that it be crispy. Then she made excuses for the cooks instead of owning the problem. Meal was chaos and interrupted. No coffee refills AND it was weak. Young untrained girl ran off with my credit card for at least 10 minutes. Since I don't like that situation, I got up and tracked her down. No service whatsoever. My opinion has been damaged enough to never return. Not sure how you go from epic service to disaster in a few months? Great Service in a retro type atmosphere. The serving size was healthy. First time we have been there since the remodeling. Covid delayed us unfortunately. Looks like a great place now with a nice bar area. There is also a rooftop bar area and an outside patio with a bar. Very warm friendly type atmosphere and looking forward to going back. The gluten-free pancakes were very smooth no grainy taste to them at all. There was also plenty of blueberries in there worth the slight up charge. I ordered a dish that had a side of sausage. We went in on a Sunday morning 9am, walked in and were asked by multiple staff if we had been helped, got a table for 6 within 5 minutes. The staff were all so friendly, all had smiles on their faces, they were all joking around. Nice open room with many tables but it honestly wasn't that loud in there. I love this restaurant since it's been renovated. It has a great modern upbeat atmosphere. It has an indoor outdoor bar. It has an outdoor fireplace. It has rooftop seating. It has indoor outdoor patio seating. They make a fantastic egg, white veggie omelette with a side of sautéed spinach and onions, instead of toast or fruit. I love the fact that they carry real maple syrup and not fake corn syrup for their pancakes. They make blueberry and banana pancakes with fresh fruit. They make a pretty great cheeseburger with 100% beef no fillers. Many days you can find the owner wandering around the restaurant helping out. of course it's a pretty popular place so if you want to have Sunday morning breakfast or even Saturday morning breakfast, come earlier prepared to possibly wait. read more

I have come here so many times and they have really great food. The service is spotty, but great food. My husband and I came for breakfast. He ordered coffee and orange juice. I was shocked when our bill came. They charge more for black coffee than Starbucks ($3.50) and his juice was $6.10!!! That is insane to me. read more

The hashbrowns that went with it were acceptable also. Service was friendly and helpful, although it DID take quite a long time to receive our food. The waitress was "in the area", so it didn't take too much to receive refills for our drinks. The restaurant, since they've renovated I'm told, is modern and clean. Again, not too much to go into; just look at the pics in their reviews. Overall, it's a nice place to go for casual dining. It's not too much one way or the other. I'd go back. (No photos this time. My friend reccomended meeting up at the Hudson location for breakfast. I'm a sucker for breakfast so figured why not. Let me tell you it is really nice and modern here. We have passed this joint dozens of times and always mean to stop in. But have always stuck to our tried and true go to's and skipped trying it out. Not anymore folks! We will start out by saying this place has ample parking, a fantastic location in downtown historic Hudson and beautiful landscaping. A great setting! Inside is equally as nice. Newly renovated, nice and clean (a huge deal for me) and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Plenty of comfortable seating and a nice big waiting area too. Which you will need because this place always seems to be super busy! Every staff person I ran into was helpful, kind and had huge smiles. Such a great feeling. We sat on the patio and my lord, what a nice patio they have. They were busy and it took a bit for our waiter to greet us, but understandable to a certain extent. Our waiter was friendly and not nearly as attentive as we would have liked. I had to find them a few times for refills on drinks and condiment requests. Started off with the Notso Fries. Sweet baby Jesus, they were some of the best fry appetizers we have ever had. Crispy and perfectly cooked along with an amazing flavor. Parker got the Buffalo Broil and Raymond the Patty Melt with cole slaw. All was delicious and cooked superbly! The downside? Soda was flat, although they did have Diet Dr. Pepper...which isn't common. The cost of the meal vs. the portions were, welllll off. The math wasn't mathing. $43 for what we ordered was just plain overpriced. We enjoyed the patio setting and the food was great. But I don't think we will go out of our way to return. Went with 7 people it was my mom's birthday. My wife and I both got Brenner. We couldn't pass it up they had some great options. Overall good rating from those at the table the food was good. One main issue was my brother in law order the Ruben and it was not clear it was basically chicken sandwich on rye with thousand island dressing on the side. A bit weird for a Rueben. Overall the service was good and the staff was very friendly and on top of the things we needed. They checked on us often even though the restaurant was busy. I would rescue place for American fare food and breakfast. The visit did have one snafu, they seated us on their patio that was enclosed and had plastic panels to sorta seal it up. The ladies at the table were cold and it was a bit chilly for my taste. It did look like they had heaters but they were not on and I asked for them to be turned on but it was never turned on. These fries are not your typical fries, they are round cut crinkle fries loaded with cheese, bacon & sour cream and they are not to be missed. As for my meal, I got the chicken wrap & was not wowed by it- the chicken had some weird bites and was a very average wrap. Took 25 minutes to be greeted, I ordered water and a tuna melt, and the sandwich could not have been any less imaginatively prepared or served. Limp leaf of lettuce on a plate, two scoops of nothing but tuna and mayo with microwaved cheese on top of a poorly toasted English muffin half. Tomatoes on side didn't add to the sandwich's appearance or flavor. Ambience was nice, but there was what looked like a cat hair stuck on the Formica table top. What a positive dining experience! We were seated quickly, and our waitress was so incredibly sweet! Our food came out hot, fresh, and fast. What more could I ask for?! I ordered the Killit Skillet. Me oh my that was a healthy portion of food! I ate half, and finished the other half at home. The meal itself was just okay. I wasn't overly impressed. I'm not sure what it was, maybe the thickness of the cheese, or the amount of grease I tasted? I would take bites and get entire chunks of cheese, which was a bit weird. Needless to say, I wouldn't order that again. On the other hand, my friend ordered a mushroom and swiss burger which I tasted, and it was DELICIOUS! I almost wanted to send my meal back, and get the burger instead! There were sooo many mushrooms and the cheese was perfectly melted through, unlike in my meal. Placed carry out order for 4 person office @ 11:30 Used the app to order and was able to make substitutions easily. I liked how system provided multiple times to confirm /edit/ change the order. Submitted order before realizing co worker wanted grilled vs fried chicken for her salad. Called restaurant and they immediately edited the order for me with no problem. Showed up a little ahead of the 30 minute quoted time. They had already packaged everything up; provided utensils AND napkins. The food was fantastic Great presentation and plentiful portions. Whelp - that was fun while it lasted...... I had gone to YT a few times before the renovation and was never bad but just ok....after the renovation the food quality went up noticeably. The new lotso fries were a huge hit with my family, and the two other families that we brought ( because we like to share our positive experiences too!) with us. Portion sizes were appropriate and Yours Truly had made it into the starting rotation for go to restaurants.(that's a baseball reference) Not sure why - apparently it made local Hudson news - but they changed.... And not in a good way. Abandoning the crisp, tasty and different fries, YT went to a flat, soggy and chewy slices - booooo. Following up that performance ....my $17 dollar buffalo chicken salad - which I have had a few times before with no issue - had only one, that's right, just one, very lonely chicken finger on it ..... payment for the remodel must be more than expected ....manager wanted to argue ( think ump and manager - more baseball stuff) that there had only ever been one - I pointed out that it was not a chicken breast but a chicken finger - there is a difference still right ? As far as I'm concerned 3 strikes and your out! This management team doesn't care what they send out the door! They don't care that you're told a pick up time for an hour and when you get there, food is already cold, or missing items when you get order home and open up all the containers. I don't eat out often. Have ordered take out a handful of times in past 3 years. Pizza is always hot from Zeppes and ready when told to pick up.
