    Trash Can Nachos

We went Hudson's Restaurant for our nieces 40th Birthday during their Haunted House theme and it was a blast. The service was great for us we had a party of 9 people. They offered a great Halloween themed menu. We all tried the Trash Can Nachos and their Buffalo Pirogies. I got their French Onion soup and it was delicious! I got the Blackened Chicken Tacos, my brother-in-law got their Pot Roast and my wife got the Spinach Artichoke Goat Cheese Chicken with Mashed Potatoes. We ordered our niece a piece of their Haunted House themed cake and WOW it's was delicious and HUGE, feed the entire table with just the one piece. We all had a blast and we are looking forward to going back very soon. BOOM!!!!

Met friends for the nightmare before blitzen Halloween decor & to watch Ohio state game . Fish sandwich had 2 generous pieces of fish - it was good , but a good portion of skin was left on one of the pieces so it was overly fishy tasting. Tots were crispy and as expected. French onion soup was good . Drinks were well made and bartender was attentive . My friend ordered breakfast and she said everything was well made but had to send sausage gravy back as it was cold . Overall pretty good experience .

Made it back here for the Blitzen's Christmas Pop up! What a cute place. My son and I had the Christmas flatbread with pear, goat cheese, and cranberry. It was really tasty. Since we had already eaten we were not super hungry. He also got the "make your own ginger bread cookies" and they had run out of piping bags, so it was kind of a messy spreading of the frosting, but it was still a clever idea. No other adornments, so we borrowed some of the cranberries from our flatbread to make buttons and a pear slice to create a bow tie. (I forget what they call this on the menu, but for all intents and purposes, it's a pizza/flatbread). I tried the gingerbread old fashioned. It was quite strong, but didn't have a clear gingerbread flavor. I did appreciate that it had one big ice cube. For $20 a pop, it better be strong, right? Decor throughout the restaurant is really well done, if not a bit over-the-top, but I think that's the point here. Loved it. We would come here a lot if we lived close by.

Comfort food dining with phenomenal service. My family was looking for a place to meet break bread and catch up + Hudson's was the place. A quaint bar -restaurant-the ambiance was welcoming. Great appetizers--excellent main dishes. **The best part of the experience was our server -Allie --we are not an easy group to please and she did with spades!

Sooooo cute! My whole family had a great time. Service and food was good, but the Halloween decorations were amazing!!

I went during Christmas time and it was decorated to the nines! There were so many Santa's and reindeer. The food was good, I especially liked the taste of the meatball sauce. I got the ceasar salad and the chicken was tough but the dressing made up for it. Everything was reasonably priced, the drinks a bit on the high end. Service was great, especially since it was so busy. A great family restaurant to visit from out of town.

We went the Saturday after Christmas, around 430 and were surprised by only a 30 min wait! Our server was very attentive, accommodating and kind. It is truly wild to see all of the Christmas decor they have put up. The list of holiday cocktails was extensive, but some were pretty basic and definitely should've have been the priced the same as some of the more complex drinks. I got the lemon chicken artichoke pasta and I was very pleasantly surprised by it! It was a large serving and very tasty. Would absolutely recommend.

We stopped by to experience the Christmas pop up restaurant, Blitzen's. Absolutely amazing decorations!!! They did such a great job decorating and making it feel like the ultimate Christmas stop. Liked the holiday inspired beverage menu. A little pricey but cute drinks. I got the Frosty's Toddy, which was pretty good. Ordered the pot stickers and a side salad with homemade vinaigrette. Very good. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which was really messy, but he said it was good too. We snapped some holiday pics together and even saw Santa in the entryway. Highly suggest a stop to get in the Christmas spirit.

Just went a couple of times to Hudson's transformed into Blitzen's for the Christmas season. So very fun and great cocktail menu. If you don't have a good time when you go during this season --- You may be a Grinch!!! Enjoy!

This place tries to be fancy but it falls flat. The food is basic gfs supply, nothing fresh. Don't bother.

Rosewood Grill was an excellent birthday dinner choice. We had reservations for 5PM on a Tuesday…read moreand arrived about 10 minutes early. We were seated immediately and instantly felt our experience was going to be top notch. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, upscale but still casual. We ordered the deviled eggs and the sushi shots as an appetizer. The shots were amazing. Fish was fresh and the wontons dipped in the sauce were fantastic. The deviled eggs were just ok and tasted like any normal deviled egg. Nothing to write home about, but fine. For my entree I ordered the mixed grill and chose the Caesar salad and lobster tail. I think it was one of the best Caesar's I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the tail was huge! The potatoes were good but a little gummy (potato snob checking in. They were still edible and I finished them, no complaints.) There was some awkwardness in ordering my birthday dessert, however. The server that filled our waters when we were initially seated asked if we were celebrating anything - yes my birthday! She mentioned that I would get a brownie with ice cream on the house. Awesome! My favorite! I don't think this was communicated to our actual waitress. When I asked about the brownie she said "yeah it's a birthday thing, but I think I can make that happen". But.... It's my birthday :'( I felt like a jerk making some special request. My brownie came out without a candle. I overheard a woman at another table also celebrating a birthday and she got a candle with her birthday dessert. I hate to sound like an ungrateful pick me brat, but I wish this would have been communicated to our waitress. Having to ask about the brownie made me feel awkward. I can deal without a candle I swear!! But why wasn't it communicated to our actual server that we were celebrating? It's really all in the little details. But definitely not a make or break. We visited all the way from Pittsburgh, and talked about the meal all the way home and how delicious everything was. We will absolutely make the trip back.

Fantastic food and even better service. I intend on going back the next time I'm in townread more

I recently had breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Streetsboro, and while the experience was…read morenot a disaster, it did feel like an expensive lesson in managing expectations. I was genuinely excited to find a place nearby serving eggs Benedict, since that is apparently now considered a rare regional specialty. The eggs Benedict itself was satisfying, and the decaf coffee was actually very good. It stayed hot, which was impressive because warmth was not exactly the theme of the rest of the experience. The custom mug was a nice touch, the silverware was clean, and my water glass was crystal clear, so points for clearing the very basic hurdles of public dining. That said, the details were where things started to drift. I asked whether I could get butter on the side for my English muffin and was told yes. When the food arrived, the butter had apparently chosen a different path in life. I selected the potatoes as my side, and they were dry and cold, which was a nice reminder that not all breakfast foods dream of being eaten. I also asked for cream with my decaf coffee and was given those little plastic peel-top cups of palm-oil creamer like the kind sitting beside a gas station coffee urn. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand, just so I could adjust my standards in advance. The service was probably the most disappointing part. My server never introduced herself, never said good morning, never welcomed me, and never asked how I was doing. The exchange had all the warmth and personality of renewing a vehicle registration. The first words out of her mouth were asking what I wanted to drink. Then whether I was ready to order. Then whether I was ready for the bill. Then she answered my question about whether I paid there or at the front. Finally, after the check, I did get a "have a good day," which was nice in the same way a closing credit is technically part of the movie. As an added bit of breakfast theater, I was seated near the kitchen entrance, while the table across the aisle featured what I mentally dubbed the Desperate Housewives of Streetsboro, carrying on a lively discussion about construction, a new kitchen, and the hand towels they were all apparently having to use in the meantime. It was less background ambience and more accidental community theater. For $21.87 for eggs Benedict, potatoes, and a decaf coffee, I expected a breakfast experience and not an exercise in emotional self-service. There were good elements here, but the missing butter, cold potatoes, fake creamer, and indifferent service made the whole thing feel more like a nicely plated inconvenience than a place I would be eager to revisit.

I live in a food Mecca city for the past 12 years. So when I come home to visit, the food scene…read morehere hurts my soul. Until I found this place. This was the first menu that truly excited me to try. This spot raises the bar for ohio food. The southern/ Cajun flair in the menu made my heart flutter. The Cajun shrimp and crawdad omelet was amazing but the bacon and gouda grits stole the show. I could eat my body weight in that dish. My only complaint for food is, I would have loved a louisiana hot sauce or some vinegar based hot sauce to go with it. Not gonna lie, our server definitely forgot about us, a few times but.... the food made up for it.
