I've been getting apres gel-x for yearsssss (on a monthly basis at multiple salons all over LA and Canada). This has never happened to me before where they would break, only after visiting this salon.... when i reached out to her multiple times to express my disappointment, for $150+ nails, she deflected, blamed... me? for my nails?! This was my last conversation with her. After I confronted her, she unfollowed and blocked me on social media. I just wanted a refund of the $$ I paid for my nails. As a note, when I get gel-x at Ibiza Nails in WeHo, or Nail'd It in Glendale or Pasadena - those aprex gel-x last me 4-6 weeks, even when I was moving and opening boxes. Sadly, due to how I was treated, and the state of my nails, with lumpy thick coats, and the prep/cleaning of the nails, after every appointment, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this salon.

Youth Haus is by far my favorite for fillers because they do the best lip fillers! This was my second visit here - I got Lip Filler & botox. I have gotten Juvederm XC before but now I got Restylane Kysse because I have heard great things. Everyone is always super friendly from the front desk to the nurse who was super professional , explained the different filler types and chose the best for me after examining my face type and desired results. I was always scared of lip fillers but it's painless and quick. They are not salesy or pushy here like at other places, I felt super comfortable. My lips look perfect and exactly how I want them - they do this Russian Doll lip technique here which focuses on the Cupid's Bow and gives me that perfect shape. Their facility is so chic and comfortable. They have all their COVID protocols in place which makes me feel super comfortable. The only negative is that they do aesthetics during the week, not on the weekends so I have to go either during my lunchbreak or before work. Will be back soon. read more

BOTCH JOB ON MY LIPS. I went in to get my lips done with juvaderm. I did not want much but to hide my gums a little when I smiled. It was not cheap for a half vial, more expensive than many others. After the nurse did my injections I noticed one side was much larger than the other (they were perfectly even before) After two weeks they were completely uneven I can't even smile. see photo. When I went in to show the nurse she was trying to convince me they were not uneven, taking pictures from different angles to prove they were not uneven. She specifically said "well if you take a photo from above you cant tell." Telling her again I was unhappy she proceeds to tell me I would have to spend $500 on another half a vail to fix THEIR MISTAKE!! This was after they told me they would take care of me on the phone. Any communication thereafter was completely unprofessional. They even cancelled my brothers appointment that he had prepaid because "they thought it was the best plan of action for them." Got Botox and Lip Filler done at Youth Haus with Nadia a couple of weeks ago and I love it. My lips look so natural and plump, the Botox was strategically placed based on what I was looking for and looks great . The receptionist was super friendly, they made me feel very comfortable. Parking was not great but welcome to LA ;) Will definitely be back. read more

Was very nice and would have casual conversation while I waited for my appointment. I was one of the first to sign up for her laser hair removal service, she had just bought a machine and offered me a one year deal for $2,000. 6 months into it I had a bad accident that left me in the hospital. Before this had happened we had developed a friendship (I even helped her move into her new office) and she texted me to check on my health and promised to pause my service. Skip to now, I am finally healthy and done with surgeries and can resume the service and tried to contact: - First time attempting she said she had new partners and had to check with them, the office manager called me back and said he would only give me 1 session from the 6 promised/owed - Second time, she said she would speak to him and the partners, the manager calls me back again saying they would only offer 4 sessions as "prices have gone up" - Third time, today, she has been ignoring my texts for the last week so I called a few times and she finally picked up (noting that it was her off hours). Asked me what I needed to continue and I said my 6 months or a prorated refund. This request turned into her shouting at me for "threatening her" and future communication will only be done through the manager, who unfortunately keeps getting mixed information it seems. Tried to be nice and work with her and this small business but it seems I am out of options and need to do chargebacks and small claims.

I stumbled upon Regenerate skin and decided to call and ask about the treatment. The lady who answered the phone was super nice. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she would text the aesthetician and give me an answer shortly after. All the appointments they had available were in the afternoon and I let them know that I unfortunately worked and was looking for something in the morning. They were able to accommodate easily and said that there was no problem, they could have one of their aestheticians come in a little earlier to help me. My appointment was at 11:30AM. I also made it very clear that I wanted a consultation before the actual treatment. I wanted to make sure that the treatment would not have any negative effects on my skin. I did do a bunch of research and have been told by another dermatologist that this treatment would be good for my skin, but I wanted to make sure. Parking is a little tricky since you have to enter a parking structure and the spaces are very compact. It's inside like a plaza/mall and the name isn't Regenerate. I recognized the inside from Yelp pictures, if it weren't for that I would have walked right past it. I stood for about five to ten minutes before I was helped. One person handed me papers and someone else handed me more papers. Some of them were for the aesthetician to make an assessment on my skin...meaning that she should have been asking me questions and been filling them out. Ex. "Does patient present hyperpigmentation?" You would expect for the aesthetician to take a closer look to see if it is hyperpigmentation or possibly something else. I filled out the forms to the best of my ability and I was taken to the back. I waited another 15 minutes as the aesthetician tried to figure out how to lower the chair. I still somehow went through with the treatment. There was no hospitality or anything from the person doing the treatment. She started without the consultation and just put the machine on my shoulder. She asked if it hurt. I was taken completely by surprise since I was not expecting it. It did not hurt so she continued and it was completely quiet for the hour or so the treatment took. When we were finished, the aesthetician made a face and said that I would definitely need more treatments since one would not work. As I went to pay, I asked to use to the check in offer on yelp, but the person at the front desk was confused. She called two people and said she was not aware of anything at all. They ended up giving me the discount and my total came out to $120. The treatment did help lighten my dark spots, but I did not have the best experience here. The lady who answered the phone was definitely nice, but after that the quality just seemed to deteriorate. I would not come again.
